How to earn Leaderboard Points

Craft items in the Windmill - 1+ points
Craft items in the Cider House - 1+ points

Collect from your Hot Water Boiler - 1+points
Complete an order in the Farmer's Market - 4 points
Complete all orders in the Farmer's Market - 30+ points
Complete a Plane Delivery - 6 points

I'll always love ponies, but I'm working and am afraid if I don't have time in the next 14 days... and also I need to expand and need as much money as I could... I don't know how I won the first place and got the duck in red suit, it just happened.

I will not even try for the Flower Pony. I will focus on completing the Milestones and earning the Flower Buffalo instead. And if I pick up some nice decorations along the way? So be it. But I am not going to let myself get pulled into the Leaderboard competition.

Windmills do not give points.

Points occur according to 1-hour increments. If a building does not complete at least 1 hour in crafting tasks, it will not give points. So, for the Windmills, if you are crafting 3 Flour (10 minutes each, 30 minutes total), you would receive no points. By contrast, crafting 3 Sugar (20 minutes each, 60 minutes/1 hour total), you would receive 1 point. Similarly, two Truffle Shavings (1 hour 30 minutes each) will give you 1 point for the first hour of the first Truffle Shaving, then 2 points for the second (30 minutes from the first added to the 1 hour 30 minutes of the second = 2 hours).


EDIT: It gave me one piont for milling corn but no points for milling truffles. I have to double check.

To receive any points, you need to craft at minimum 60 minutes' worth of items. Also, they need to be collected AFTER the hour has passed, or the timer total resets to 0 (that is, if you collect two sugars and the third still has 15 minutes to go, you will not receive any points). It is possible that you received the 1 point for the Cornstarch, but if the Truffle Shavings were still in progress, you would not receive points yet. Or, if you had collected the Truffle Shavings but had also opened a queue to start new crafting assignments, you may have missed seeing the points for the Truffle Shavings appearing.

I’m wondering the same thing. If it’s one of the “special/super” buildings, plants, or animals, then I’m not a fan. The haunted Halloween tree I like—you just harvest every 12 hours. I don’t like the hippo, sunflower, or Venus flytrap at all. You have to make a different food and harvest in 12 hours. I haven’t found they’re worth the time. I only get 5-25 coins each per harvest—and they’re not storable, so they just take up room.

I double checked. I made 2 truffle shavings and I did NOT receive any point.

I made 2 corn starch and I did receive 3 points.

Truffle shavings does not give points.

I noticed that on the last leaderboard. There were several items that I didn’t get any points on. AND I had purchased the 2x boost!

I've been noticing roll-backs occurring. Yesterday, I lost an in-game item that took 2 hours to make, longer actually if the item has other ingredients. Right when I was about to complete the farmer's market quest and have the truck drive away, I clicked on my item to turn it in it just disappeared!!! Wrote a trouble-ticket for it using the in-game form. The reply said there is no support for FS2, and I should check the forums.

This morning, there's been difficult having a stable connection to the game.

Just now, somebody came out of nowhere and has overtaken my lead by 75 points on the leader board! Granted, I've been watching the person in first and the person below and have been farming like mad to keep my second place lead.

I was considering spending some real money here! So I've concluded it takes real money then?!

There's limited support for Farm Story 2 but you can seek help via the forum. Having a good reliable strong connection is important, try the suggestions in What can I do to try to resolve my game issues? (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?88356-Farm-Story-2-Main-Guide&p=1280824&viewfull=1#post1280824) and do a force save, explained in the chapter, to make sure your game progress is properly saved.

I'm getting closer to the flower buffalo but not the flower pony! :( :( :(
I am sooo sad bcs I am at rank 18 now that means it's very impossible to reach the first place within a few days.
I really am very sad. :( I love ponies so much.

Just sell one item below your silo and or barn level and you can collect and it goes to the leaderboard.

Whew! That was a tough one but worth it if you stuck with it! Great prizes with the Gnome Rose Gardner, Water Buffalo, and the Rose Pony! Thank you S8 Team for a great event! A challenge for sure but rewarding! I was able to get second place and get the Pony but it was through much diligence. I don’t understand the constant complaining by people on these events. They aren’t meant to be easy! You have to work at with MAX EFFORT to achieve anything in these events! Just like life. You get out what you put in! And you don’t always win either. There’s plenty of these events I come up short in. But I try each time and am thankful for the events. Don’t play if you don’t like them. Just play the game for collecting but if you do play the events then expect a challenge! Thank you mods for helping with the event!

Wow! It looks like the Flower Buffalo is a pet! Once again, the farm story 2 team never fails to impress!

Was surprised too. It's a much better design than the pony and I'm glad I decided to go for it too. Reminds me of the type of designs they make for Fantasy Forest story.
