Is anyone else having trouble getting golden eggs? I have an over abundance of golden apples, nuggets but I can never find eggs. No matter how many chickens I collect from it seems as if not one of them as the golden egg laying gene.

I have too many eggs and not enough nuggets :(

Ditto! Eggs everywhere and struggling collection of Nuggets.

The eggs drop frequently from the Golden Peacocks if you have them.

My golden peacocks must not have the golden egg gene; I’m constantly tripping over collected nuggets, even my fairies LOVE giving me nuggets... just no eggs!!!

You are lucky, nuggets are much more useful as they are used in many places. I am always short of them when maxed on the rest.

In my realm, the order of rarity is as follows: Eggs - Common, Apples - Rare, Nuggets - Super Rare (bordering on Ultra Rare).

This is the one thing that I will never get used to about CS: every realm has its own rules and habits when it comes to randomized drops. It's such a shame too because it means that it's nearly impossible to accurately and dependably answer questions like the OPs. For instance, in my realm I could easily collect a dozen Golden Eggs with little effort but all my hints and tips will be all but useless to anyone else.

Sadly, the only really full-proof way to figure these things out is to always pay close attention to drops and try out every piece of advice offered until you've got a good working understanding of your realm's specific behaviors. If you're lucky, you'll find another player whose realm runs closely enough to yours (beyond events) that you can trade tips and hints to better your experiences.
