noticed all the items from the new year crate are out apart from the countdown tree so that might be rewarded to us.

I'm disappointed this sale is mainly for gems and the prices have been hiked up than the original price and not even recipes for a limited time. not impressed really... bah humbug

I'm impressed with the sale. I really really wanted those reindeer from 2012, now I can get them!!

I'm disappointed that ofc there's no gem dispenser, ovens, or limited time recipes. Idk why I'd ever hope for those things, but I always do.

But anyway, thank you for the sale, s8. Can't wait for someone to post the infographic.

I’m not sure if it was there to begin with. I mentioned to my daughter that something must have been added as the last item in the sale had moved forward a square. When I looked again I noticed the grotto was there. I already had 3 of them though lol.

Edit: I was hoping for the North Pole Express. It’s been in a sale before but I didn’t have enough gems at the time.

I think you are confusing the party crate with the countdown crate.

All the items from the party crate are currently outside of the box for sale, the countdown tree is from the countdown crate which items are not individually for sale.

Does anyone else have several items with the sales banner but no prices? So far I've found 3 items like this (Holiday Chair, Pink & Green Snowflake Tile) they appear to be on sale but I can't purchase anymore of them. Curious.

I’m really glad they offered the first and second prizes in some boxes.
Have spent around 400 gems on these but am not quite done with the shopping yet.

Thank you for looking into the banner issue. I know there are plenty of items on sale even without those few items that I cannot purchase, but the fact that they appear to be on sale but don't act like it -- it drives me to distraction.

That's true as there are similar crates out. I purchased a lot from the countdown crate and some from party crate from Black Friday's sale. I really have my eye on the nye ball drop but for 48 gems hmmmm I'm not sure if it's worth it and even if storm8 does reward us the countdown tree for the 5 day goal then it's a good prize too but ahhhhhhhhh Santa's Grotto!!!

Hi, I've noticed that a lot of old items on bakery story say "x days left." I was just wondering, when an item says "x days left", is the item going to be gone after x days or is it on sale for x days?

That’s really strange. I’m on iOS and I have it on mine. Some have it on android, but some don’t? Could some be maybe using kindle fire? I’ve no idea. I wish I could help you.

Well there goes my fully expand bakery I have want to do.

This sale is some how better then the Black Friday 1, which is surprising at least in my opinion.

And there is the pink sprakly tile everyone has ask for, which is good, but I thought that would be for coins. Not complaining because I will still buy it, but I really did think it would be for coins.

And the frozen counter also return which is good!

There are so far from my count, there is 7 of the 1st place items, which is very good. Overall I impressed and hope good sales continue.

Because the last 2, (Black Friday and Christmas sales) have been very good. I hope this is a improvement for the future regarding sale items.

Anyway. Are the Pink and Green Snowflake Tiles on sale for IOS? (I use iPhone 6s and sometimes Samsung) but I do not see them on my iPhone. I will check on my Samsung phone to check there, but that is weird. Usually they give all options out for IOS/ and not android, but for this sale is may be the other way around. Unless I wrong. But it look good. I will check and edit my post if I see anything different when I get on Samsung phone later.

The is 7 of the 1st prizes. If I count right/ have get all of them.

Yes there are; I saw (and reported) that the Gingerbread Window in RS had the sales box but not a price and can't be purchased but I've not had the time to sit down and make lists of every item effected.

What's odd is that this isn't the first time I've seen this phenomenon. A few weeks back, the Stone Spring had a sales box and a 3 day timer on it but it wasn't priced. I brought it up in the bugs thread but never received an answer as to why. I'm really hoping we get some official answer on the situation this time so we know for future reference if the error is the sales box itself or if not being able to purchase more is the issue.

And for me it's reminding FS, when IOS players have one list of items, and Android can't see and have them, same here, not just not able to buy them but even can't see all and sale lists look differently, somebody have items going first on the list and me having them somewhere in the middle

The NYE ball drop is totally worth 49 gems, it could've been for 70 gems but I think it's a good prize for a large 1st place item which can be used for a birthday theme or just a random party theme.

Sadly we have no way of knowing. S8 isn't big on sharing their future plans so it's rare if they share in advance that there is going to be a sale. That said, they usually have sales for the popular holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, etc. I would think the next large sale will be for Valentine's Day but, again, there is no guarantee.

As for the items themselves, the seasonal/holiday items will be leaving the market because they're not permanent market items. Basically, if it's an item that isn't regularly in the market for purchase, it will be leaving at the end of the sale. The big question is whether or not the regular market items will be removed at the end of the sale. Past experience says they'll likely stay (we usually get notice if items are being removed) but I'm paranoid enough that I've bought every item that I wanted just in case they do leave.

Sorry there's no definitive answer for you, but unless s8 officially comments on this we're all just judging this sale against past experience.

I don't really have any of the "Alice" items. It sounds like you ended up with lots of great items and Valentine's Day is not too far away.

Yes, but most likely they will only be available via the flash goals. In the past, s8 used to offer older stoves in sales pretty frequently but lately (over the last year or so) this hasn't been the case. My best guess is because they're relisting the old ovens in the 5 Day Goals now, they don't feel the need to add them into the sales.

I've not seen any official replies to this issue yet despite checking the Bugs thread daily. I would really like an answer as to what the error is in this situation since it's not the first time it's happened. It would be nice to know how to advise players if/when this occurs in the future but it does seem unlikely at this point that we'll get a response.

Sorry, but the gem sales are random so there is no way of accurately predicting when and where they will show up.

If you're referring to the blue stars tile: after you place the first down in your bakery, you should see the option to keep placing that tile as long as you're still tapping the screen and haven't switched to lay down another tile pattern. Note though that any future placements will deduct their *original* price from your savings (as they are no longer on sale) - and that could mean a lot of gems if your tile, like this one, originally had a gem price.

Note: this feature applies to iOS only.

I think they were referring to the Green & Pink Snowflake Tiles. When the Christmas Sale first started, iOS users saw the Sale box and timer on those two tiles but there was no price and Droid users were unable to purchase them. Now that the sale is over though, those same tiles have been added back to the market (in both platforms) sans sales banner, with their prices now included like they are permanent market items.

There were other items like this in both games and the issues were flagged over to s8 for both games but we never heard word back as to whether or not the items were meant to be on sale or not. Now that this is happening, I'm even more interested in hearing from the team what is going on.

Wow!! What an amazing holiday sale! I’m back after a few yrs. now with 2 bakeries. Can we expect a huge Christmas release like this one in the next few days??
I would LOVE to get some of the fab items I’ve been seeing in other ppls shops!
Especially all the Reindeer. And several floor decor items, counters, wall decor, tiles & wallpaper!
I’m excited to see the new goal prizes coming tomorrow as well!

Keeping my fingers crossed a big holiday sale comes this week like this one!
