Seen a few screen shots of various things for this week, so perhaps no event and just sales. Scrap that (thanks Hagypagy), event on the way which will have a separate thread to this one about sales (and a bit of off topic fun!).

Will make a separate post for each offer in case there is any additional info to add on release.



New Goal: CLEAR ANY MONSTERS FROM YOUR BOARD!

The crowned lion aim is to make crowns in the royal forge need to use a lot of energy I would rather have used on the community event. I have tons of crowns that I don?t use as I don?t care for walkers. So if you are not interested in walkers maybe don?t start this event.
Some expansions are on sale. Woohoo. Saved a ton of money and a few lanterns. Thanks S8

Update: last step you have to make 10 more crowns, each take 1 gold nugget, and 1 enchanters essence and 3 royal gems (from the lion) I won?t complete this as I don?t want to spend the energy getting the gems nor waste my nuggets and essence.

I really like the Lair. I have the troll sparing put which I also use to keep a monster out of the way on the board. It has come in handy so many times, especially when you're looking for a skunkupine as they have a higher spawn rate for me. So depending on how much it is I would give it some consideration yes.

I?ve been saving gems (and really want a few of the sale items), but got caught in a couple of big gem traps recently and so am reluctant to buy until the event, if I do buy them at all.

Also, do gems ever go on sale during Black Friday? S8 could help make up for some of these lost gems by ?giving them back? this way.

In years past, the sale has gone through Sunday or even Monday. So if they follow the same pattern, you'll have a few days to purchase items at the sale price.

I spent money to win the shadow wolf which is already very disappointing, but I figured it was worth it to have infinite energy nd I saved all my stock piled items to use today on the stock exchange deal. It better freaking work like they said!

Anyway gonna make out nice on the sale items - gold and energy things. After that I am so done giving storm 8 my money. They sure do know how to disillusion cash paying players.

Oh well! Plenty of other places to spend my money for the rest of my blessed life :)

Good question, mine also says 200 gems “marked down” lol to 400! Be warned though, I think the sweet tooth Ali is one of the slackers....minimum 2 energy instead of the usual 4

The crowned lion aim is to make crowns in the royal forge need to use a lot of energy I would rather have used on the community event. I have tons of crowns that I don’t use as I don’t care for walkers. So if you are not interested in walkers maybe don’t start this event.

For Black Friday, trade tickets were doubled....I got just one which gave me 17 tickets went to market to buy some items and then a reset. Had to tap you have trade ticket pop up;( first time ), tapped now i only have 16 ticket in inventory. Nothing can describe the frustration in losing a ticket already earned and then get nothing from the pop up. please let your team know that these hiccups tarnish any good will towards them. Leaving not benefit of the doubt for them.

Quit playing the challenge as well will use the use my Apple card for a Xmas hamper for less fortunate and not the gems to buy something from storm eight.

The bountiful table is so worth it. Gives a random feast every other day, incl sweet and spicy. Even during energy-intensive events, this is one I always collect from. It's limited to 1 unfortunately. The thief looks great, but I rarely collect from it. Can't remember what it drops.

That sounds good especially for the sweet and spicy feast, it takes me so long to collect flour which is used for almost everything, plus I have a hard time keeping the roast chickens in stock.

Could be very useful.... Maybe even more useful then energy animals since I am able to log in up to 6 times each day and use up my 40 energy each time. I was looking forward to the Chinese, but if I am interpreting this one correctly it is a whooping 400 gems to only collect 1-4 energy per day which is much less energy then the white alicorn that will give 40 per week and for less cost. I think the cholera would be 28 energy per week, but actually it could be as little as 7 energy per week. That is crazy!

I could not buy more than one bountiful table-it really is worth the gems though. It gives you all the feasts to go on adventures, so I never have to make them anymore :)
The troll thief never gives me anything I can use so I am not sure if he would be worth buying.
I do love the little rainbow pots-I bought a bunch of them and have gotten expansion permits from several of them.

If you already have an item capped at 1 it won't show in the market. I think I've come across 2 items I can't see - the gold mine and the spellbound bloom. Is there anything else anyone can see that's missing from page 1. Can you please post the item and the cost. thanks!! :)

The two tables used to drop the Spicy or the Sweet Feasts on a regular basis. In the past year, however, these drops have become rarer and my stockpile of both types of feasts have been depleted with regular adventures run from the two keeps and the barracks.

I completed that quest without buying a trap. Chopping the rock out cropping triggers the lion.

The two tables used to drop the Spicy or the Sweet Feasts on a regular basis. In the past year, however, these drops have become rarer and my stockpile of both types of feasts have been depleted with regular adventures run from the two keeps and the barracks.

The crowned lion aim is to make crowns in the royal forge need to use a lot of energy I would rather have used on the community event. I have tons of crowns that I don?t use as I don?t care for walkers. So if you are not interested in walkers maybe don?t start this event.

Update: last step you have to make 10 more crowns, each take 1 gold nugget, and 1 enchanters essence and 3 royal gems (from the lion) I won?t complete this as I don?t want to spend the energy getting the gems nor waste my nuggets and essence.

Hi meugie, maybe try another browser to lodge a ticket. Unfortunately, only Support can help with gem issues. Check your itunes/google play store history to see if the purchase went through or not and take a screen shot of that to attach to your ticket. :)

I wouldn't think you'd lose anything you've partially completed. I will check though although I'm not sure we have time for an answer bc of the holidays.

I also would think that if you fully loaded EG lantern and coins then after sale ends but still had permits to apply then the permit count would revert back to full.

For Black Friday, trade tickets were doubled....I got just one which gave me 17 tickets went to market to buy some items and then a reset. Had to tap you have trade ticket pop up;( first time ), tapped now i only have 16 ticket in inventory. Nothing can describe the frustration in losing a ticket already earned and then get nothing from the pop up. please let your team know that these hiccups tarnish any good will towards them. Leaving not benefit of the doubt for them.

Quit playing the challenge as well will use the use my Apple card for a Xmas hamper for less fortunate and not the gems to buy something from storm eight.

Of course, I submitted a ticket - only to get a response, that office is closed until Nov 26, and after that day I must wait 5 to 7 days for the answer. By that time sale will be long gone. quite a few offered with reductions. without listing the id's... they're on the extreme righthand side / top of the screen. read the offeres stated on the plot itself when you touch them. if you can't see them, just maybe, you haven't opened your kingdom so far yet?

Between this and a couple of other decorations with the drops etc I’ve found I only make spicy feasts when I need to use some roast chicken up because it’s uneven with the fish and bacon. I’ve usually got around 70-80 of these, I have the haunted castle, queens court and the barracks adventuring every day and I regularly do the dark cave adventure at least 3 times a week.

The sweet feast I usually have between 35 and 50 of these stashed and make 1 every 2 weeks but also try and do this adventure at least once a week.

So for me the bountiful table has been bountiful and I collect from it at every 2 days.

I noticed it drops other gold items, but it?s really these three I want. I?m debating between this and another alicorn. I?m thinking that if I go with the Ali which I have a herd of and sometimes find I don?t know what to do with my energy, but if I go for the gold mine then I can use those to create gems in the exchange and therefore buy whatever I want including the Ali?s.

Note: The Golden Mine will always drop either a Golden Nugget, Golden Egg, or Golden Apple. You still have a chance to get the other more rare items. (updated Aug 2016). If you are maxed on a gold item, you will not get the drop.

I can buy two weeklies for 600 net, or 3 aquamarines for 200 each, 600 net. From the 2 weeklies I would get 80 energy every 7 days. But from the 3 dailies I will get min 4/day from each, which is 84 every 7 days, plus random chances of windfalls of 20+.

People talk about "saving up" energy, I guess by collecting from their weeklies, but right now I use every scrap of energy every day, and that's with many buildings/items in storage, lol. I see no reason nor avenue to save up? Unless it's someone who takes a break from playing, and just logs in once a week to collect from alis?

I'm debating Ivy and actually getting a Living Wood tree (not on sale.) I used to never need LW but now I'm constantly out of it, lol.

The weeklies always drop 40. I agree with your analysis, the dailies (the ones with 4 energy minimum) are a better value. However, it still is a gaming style preference. Would you rather have a ton of energy once a week or a little bit every day?

I’ve gathered a few weeklies along the way and they do make somewhat of a dent during events, but the main engine in my game are the dailies. I think S8 realized that and introduced the 2-energy droppers, who are useless in this context. The big drops are too rare.

If I had 99 white alis I’d be saving energy too, lol. But I’m not in that privileged class. The only scenario beneficial for me would be to save up for the new LB monster hunts. But mostly there’s an event the week before in which I’m engaged.

The Ivy’s kitchen has a 24h timer. A timer I personally despise deeply. Same for the unicorns. A few minutes always creep up daily until it’s too late to collect before work and at that point I usually lose them for the day.

I’m sure your new kitchen will be of use! And good luck with you decisions!

I think you will find it quite useful. I have the two regular kitchens, two winter bakeries, and the cooking camp and all of them are crafting almost all the time. I also have the bountiful and another meal dropping table, forget the name. And the two guard dogs that occasionally drop simple feasts. My keep and the barracks are questing all the time, mostly exploring the dark caves and desert sands. So I?m always making Sweet and Spicy feasts or apple pie, orange cobbler, and lemonade to trade for a gem.


The other table is the Mystery Dinner Table. Same drops as the Bountiful.

Quite true about old timers.. putting caps on the different Dalies, there's no way we can help the s8 economy. Useful buildings are capped.. I wouldn't think twice to buy another 2 Gold Mines, but they're not even in my offers. Bountiful Table capped too.. so that leaves a 400 Chimera or more normal Alis, which are already in majority in my kingdom, being an oldtimer.
I save all year for this sale, never spending in speeding or any luxuries during events so as to be a big-spender during this Black Friday period... lol!

Hello everyone! I bought the 530 gems pack, plus 65 gems that I already had. I bought 1) the bountiful table, because I am always sort on sweet feasts and it takes too much to make it. I have quite enough of the other 3 kind of feasts, but I have 3 dragon eggs to hatch and need the drops from desert sands adventure 2) one aquatic alicorn. I have 3 weekly alicorns (believe it or not, all from watching videos!) and 11 daily alicorns. I would love to get a couple of those, but I am not that desperate for energy, so I thought I could invest to something different this time. Which brings us to no.3) the cabbage hut. I didn’t have a cabbage hut, and I thought I should give it a try, although last year alicorns didn’t come up in baron’s tent much. We’ll see how it goes.

Some information about stuff I already have. I bought Ivy’s Bakery six months ago. It is a good buy, it gives me things that I am usually bored to make, such as cakes, coblers, pies etc, but are very useful to the elves exchange. Much better than the harvest pergola, I wish I knew that before. I also have the soup cauldron, really useful little thing. I am maxed to hearty soup thanks to it, it made cooking hearty feasts much easier.

I wish I could get a couple of the golden mines, but well, we can’ t have it all. Next year!

Considering the low price.. the gold drops are proportional. However it's a good buy for an occasional gold dropper and handy to have in the kingdom. I always collect from mine to see what surprise pops out.

Congrats on your gold mine. I think you will love having it. I have three in my kingdom and do the gold for gems exchange any time I have accumulated at least 50 of each gold item. I kept records of each exchange and paid for all of the gold mines in about 6-8 months each. Good luck with yours.

Did you finish the Search for Sabina Quest? Epelus was locked in the Town Square until that story was finished so maybe that's it?

If you miss him during this sale, I wouldn't worry too much; once you unlock him he's a permanent item in the Town Square Market. To be honest, they didn't offer much of a discount on the permanent citizens, they're normally 500 Crowns but the sale price is 450.

Yes.. the Royal Points are counted only at the time you open the plot. If you do it before and it ticks off.. then you put your buildings away.. it won't count even if it was ticked off. You must have them all out at the moment when you open the plot.
I don't think the other requirements, lanterns and coins, will disappear once ticked off though. In the past I usually give lanterns to unopened plots not to waste them when maxed.. they remain there.

I got one wedding alicorn from the goal line and one in last year's black friday sale. It was the second cheapest alicorn on sale last year - I didn't like the design of the cheapest one - but also they make a nice matched set to draw my wedding carriage.

I've been having quite a few resets on my game too.
Your kingdom being a lower level.. I would suggest the Cabbage Hut, so you can collect cabbages in the hope of using them on some daily alis offered, or other useful offers.
The choice of buying only 1 Daily Ali won't make much difference in providing you with secondary energy.. so the Hut would give you chances to collect more.

No, they're only available for outright purchase a few times a year during sales like this.

Thanks for the reminder re the rainbow pots: I had some stored and bought a few with my last handful of gems and got 4 expansion permits from about 10 pots. Enough to open one of the plots on special - yay!

Did you finish the Search for Sabina Quest? Epelus was locked in the Town Square until that story was finished so maybe that's it?

If you miss him during this sale, I wouldn't worry too much; once you unlock him he's a permanent item in the Town Square Market. To be honest, they didn't offer much of a discount on the permanent citizens, they're normally 500 Crowns but the sale price is 450.

I was trying to get as many Expansion Permits as possible before the reduced pricing goes away and so I was chopping all my Rainbow Pots and Bags of Treats. I got a few from each source but I was blown away when I got a Vampire Bat pet from the Bag of Treats, making it my second. I had no idea that was even possible and I'm over the moon about it since it has the possibility of dropping permits too. So glad I stocked up on those bags when they were on sale!

The crowned lion aim is to make crowns in the royal forge need to use a lot of energy I would rather have used on the community event. I have tons of crowns that I don?t use as I don?t care for walkers. So if you are not interested in walkers maybe don?t start this event.

Referring to this comment.. I've continued doing the Crown crafts and have stashed away quite a few Crowns for future use. The craft is still available even after the goals have been completed. Besides having a full inventory of Gold Nuggets.. they've been dropping quite often from Sparkling, Deep and Gold Mines. Also the Trade House has been dropping them.

In my game I can't place more than 5 Walkers at a time, otherwise I start having crashing problems, but I do like having all the Walkers possible in the Town Square, as they're part of the game and to me represent goals completed. I then change them around depending on the event that's running.. or none at all if my game's unstable.

I was just doing some research on the Rainbow Arches.. should these drop Rainbow pots as well? These I have never placed due to lack of space but now opening the new discount plots I can fix them in if they contain surprises.

I got all sale expansions open. After storing all things mushroom I ended up with red acer trees and rock outcroppings. Kinda pretty.

Great sale! I got the last 2 Aquamarine alicorns and a Sweet tooth alicorn. I was maxed on the other daily, so I got 2 weekly, and a third White flyger. I crafted maybe 140 crowns and got some walkers, even though I can't display them. And opened 2 of the new reduced plots, plus paid lanterns and coins for the others.

Then a genius here on the forum reminded me of the rainbow pots, of which I had 13. With these I managed to get gems and permits so I could open one more plot and buy a fourth White flyger. My queendom is now broke, but I am so happy. Thank you S8 :)

PS We need at least one new type of daily alicorn before the next big sale. May I suggest introduction through the Barons tent, cabbages are the only currency I now have plenty of, with all the recycles.

I literally had my whole day planned around this--I was going to have just enough time to craft my last expansion permit needed for one of the plots. I very carefully made note of the time. The plots that were reduced in coins, I paid those coins and checked off the box - they are all now back to full price. Same thing with permits - checked off the box with the reduced price of 3/6 permits and now the box is back with 3/6 - in other words it wants 3 more permits. S8 never ceases to amaze me!!! So incredibly frustrated.
