Wow, I don't think I've ever bred the DT Common so quickly and with such luck! I had Air selected and when I went to go pick a breeding partner I accidentally dropped my phone, d'oh! Through my fumbling I selected a random partner which turned out to be Dusk; of course I was terrified I'd get a ridiculous fail like Sunrise but to my joy I got 6 hour breeding time. Whew! I couldn't manage a fail like that again if I tried. I'm hoping this means this DT will be easier than the issues I had with the last one. Here's hoping!

I really do love this month's magic theme and while some of the names need a bit of work, they've all been very lovely dragons so far. Kudos, for that s8.

Magic and neo air= 6 hours. Sped up breeding to get it on the nest and it's an egg I don't recognize so must be Prophecy. WOW! got it on very first try on my main account. Baby account has 2 8 hour timers:(

There isn't any other Purple and Yellow breeding combi that requires 6 hours.

*sigh* looks like S8 has just ****ed another easy-to-breed Bingo dragon (Genie).

Well after 5-6 Genies in a row, I finally got a 6 hour timer with Peacock and Neo Air. Prophecy is currently on the nest..

Side note.. it's funny how no "breed a genie" task has showed up on bingo. Surely would have racked up quite a bit of points while trying to breed this...

First try 18hrs with magic and air! Sigh. Discouraging really. Haven't breed any required dragons smoothly recently.

Use regular Air.

Air can be used instead of Neo Air. Both are pure yellow dragons, and therefore interchangeable.
In fact, any combo that contains only yellow and purple will do. The only thing that matters is having the correct colors present in the parents, the specific dragons used makes no difference.

Any combo containing only purple and yellow produces the same group of 7 possible outcomes: Cosmic, Royal, Peacock, Genie, Music, Trickster, or Prophecy.

Air X Magic (yellow X purple)
Genie X Trickster (yellow/purple hybrid X yellow/purple hybrid)
Neo Air X Sorceress (yellow X yellow/purple hybrid)
all have the same 7 possible outcomes.

Breeding any 2 dragons in the game that contain only yellow and/or purple will produce this same group of 7 possible outcomes. So, the chances of getting a Prophecy Dragon are exactly the same, no matter which combo you use.

Just don't try to use the Cosmic Dragon or the Royal Dragon in hopes that it will split. Even though the cosmic type and royal type can both split into yellow and purple, the results of a split don't fulfill the color requirements for an event common. It's a special breeding rule for these event commons.

The sharing of successful combinations is just part tradition, part celebrating with friends, and part sending some good luck to others. :)
In some of the other dragon breeding games, the combos used do matter, so I think the tradition of sharing a successful breeding combos just carried over to this game's forums.
