The spell dancer is beautiful!
Waiting for quest three and im giving the first reaction in this thread so far..
That asks for a big surpise S8.
Lots of people who wouldve still play, cant because of missing land.
Others cant afford the difficulties that are bigger with every event.

I would love to know when we can expect a new big change in the game. Why not letting us switch to the other side of the landmap, where we can collect more newer lands for example?

This thread shows the lack of interest in the game now. Too many changes for the worse. It is a shame.

I used to get excited for Storybooks because I would be able to finish and get all three animals with a moderate level of difficulty. Now I can barely make it to the second animal. The breeding requirement becomes nearly impossible for me even when I start it before activating the tales..........no food to feed everyone up to high levels....worst of all no land to buy the habitat so all my new animals are in storage.

Forcing the round 30 of the tournament to be a part of the Storybook is ridiculous in my opinion. Some people don't like to battle and would prefer to stop after a certain round...but if you don't win the item from round 30 you can't complete the storybook, so there is no point.

I'm just doing the first animal on this one and stopping there.

I agree. Let us battle max 20 rounds and 10 for beginners or something. This is really bad..
Every reaction except for one is mostly negative. 2200 gems for an animal is way too much at this point. I suggest to lower the prices with 50% at this rate and build it up till 20% to stay there. That would be reasonable for the ways it keeps turing in the last year..

The birthstone sale last time was great, but way too short and the prices shouldve been 80/100gems.

It would be good if someone from the game team opened a topic about the actual status of the game. Like, whats going to happen, updates, global question answers. That shouldnt be hard to accomplish right? I think it will make a start in bringing some trust back. The communication is too low at this point and the content too expensive and slow

Ok, so I confidently go into the game knowing I have the animals needed to breed with apart from the new animal. Because I?ve had them for the last few storybooks and they?re all in habitats I don?t touch specifically in case they?re needed for breeding.
Except, they?re not. My racmoon seems to have run away from home. All that?s left behind is a habitat with an empty space.
This is the third time it?s happened, twice I?ve put it down to my error even though once an animals required for a storybook, I keep it in case it comes up again. Always. I KNOW Racmoon was there a few days back as I made sure I could see it in the habitat.
So not I?m going to have to breed it again as well as the new animal.

I don't like having to battle to be able to finish storybook. I had to use quite a few gems last time to finish cause for some reason I was losing way too frequently but I'm not doing that ANY MORE! I really love the final animal in the storybook but I refuse to be forced to use my gems to finish. I also think that a "common" animal should not be that difficult to breed especially since we need it to finish the storybook task. And it doesn't help that I'm maxed out on my expansions so running out of room for new animals anyway.

I stopped battling a long time ago because I could never finish them. And it gets worse when the battle is tied to the storybook because I will literally spend TWO days trying to win ONE tough opponent..and this is with fighting at least 8 times a day..More on the weekend. I will set timers for every hour to battle and no matter what I use I cannot beat it. Gems are too hard to come by so I prefer to use them to buy habitats.

Sorry to hear that you're missing your Racmoon. Maybe you like to contact Support: support form (http://support.storm8.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) so an agent can check your game.

Does anyone know if it is ok to hatch Humsprite early instead of waiting till day six? I started the storybook late trying to breed one which I have done. But there are only four days left on the side goal for the Humsprite and four days till I need to hatch it for the storybook. I don't want to miss out on the side goal by waiting to hatch/evolve in the storybook.

Yes you can hatch ahead of time and evolve for the side goal.

I so agree with you. I barely join in the events because I don't have room for any animals. AND I do NOT like to battle. If I wanted to battle, there are tournaments for that. The only reason I hang around is because I've invested enough time and effort to have a variety of creatures. Since i just deleted 14 games where the onus to keep up with them was too much, I can foresee this game getting axed in the future very easily unless S8 fosters a positive customer engagement climate. Too bad, because the type of animals we can breed are neat.

I agree , they are making the events way too hard for us and also they give us so little time for the event and on top of that , this story book event , for each chapter to open it take 23 h 51m . It's impossible to get the prize !! I really suggest they change it !

I've put in 6 actual tickets to S8, they've all stated land expansion needed. []
THESE PEOPLE THAT RUN THESE GAMES ARE MILLENNIALS, HELLO THEY ARE SMART, DO THEY JUST NOT CARE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER?
THE EVENTS NEED TO GO BACK TO 3 A MONTH. NOT 5 LIKE THIS MONTH. MAKE THEM 10 DAYS LIKE BEFORE THEY GOT GREEDY. THAT'S enough time, we can use gems if needed... OR NOT BUT THAT MEANS EVERYONE CAN STILL PLAY.

The tournament is going to be what ****s me this time. I’m right on schedule for everything else, but have little chance of finishing the tournament on time.

I doubt they’ll remove this requirement, because it forces us to play the game more often and/or spend gems to complete the required battles.

Hahaha.
Ugh, so Iv had a really busy week, it?s never stopped.
I?m doing the storybook and get to the bit where it says breed with racmoon - easy enough, except I have no racmoon. So I breed and breed and breed and I?m getting nothing.
Then I look closely and I see that Iv got a planther? And I think how did that happen?
Well, Iv been breeding the wrong animals for about 2 days now and only just noticed. How?????? Did I not notice.
Anyway, just thought I would share.
I?m now doing the right elements but only getting ground squirrels

I hate how we been forced to check up the game few times a day, by starting the chapter with harvesting and collecting... no way to finish it fast without gem spending. Same as every month

Edit; i thought that I had to collect 60 points harvesting, but luckily we didnt!

Storybooks are getting boring... each event is getting boring, trying too hard for each to win; makes it booring...
How long till s8 collected enough wins from us to give some great updates back?

I agree as well. The battle tournament is just awful if you’re re not into that. I’d prefer you be given different options to choose from. Like you could do the battle ground if you opted to with the option to hatch a certain animal or plant so many crops and level a certain animal. I couldn’t believe the story required me to go all the way to lvl 30. I love this little game but it’s definitely becoming a money pit and not so fun anymore with all the new unattainable goals. I’m constantly having to say goodbye to a pet bc I have no room for the new ones in these stories. I think they should allow you to clear spaces of land with a large amount of gold coins. I have an abundance and only use them for purchasing crops or class specific habitats. I love the fairies they have been putting in, wish they’d make a spin off for a game with lots of fairies.

I agree that the tournament being attached is a bit of a nightmare. Especially when it can take an entire day to defeat just one opponent. I?m sure the breeding for the required new animal is skewed, it took me 7 days to breed it and then I had to play catch up. Common I think not.
I do like the prizes though, I?ve enjoyed all the storybook animals so far this year. Apart from the two aforementioned difficulties it?s not to difficult to complete and the storybook is probably the only enjoyable event left with the continuation of the 7 days for the other events.
