Hi everyone,

It's that time of year again! With the holiday season coming up, what items would you like to see in your Restaurant?

Please post your suggestions for new items you'd like to see, as well as older items you'd like to see return :) These can range from decorations and crates to appliances, recipes, and even furniture!

This applies to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Winter Holidays. This thread will close in a few weeks, so post your wishlist quickly! :D

In general I'd like to have Holiday versions of the game like we used to get for iOS and Android alike. I love it when the customers and backgrounds reflect the theme of the updates.

Halloween:
- Halloween door to match the windows we have.
- Relisting those older Halloween Windows (can't think of their name) they're arched with Jack-o-lanterns at the bottom.
- Dark grey and red themed decos, we've had a lot of purple and orange over the years
Christmas:
- Gingerbread or Sugar Plum Fairy themed goals
- Some holiday floor tiles that aren't so busy.
Black Friday:
-Gem Dispenser
-Decos from way back in the beginning of the game, the limited and holiday items especially.
-The 1st-2nd items from mystery boxes.
-Also, if there are any tables on offer it would be super great to see the matching items that released with it instead of just a
mish-mash of unrelated items. If one needs to buy a table they missed out on, chances are they missed out on the other items from
that update as well.

Halloween

I'd love to see RS go in a more Gothic direction this time for Halloween - a little more "quietly creepy", with pieces that really create an haunted atmosphere, like a place has been abandoned for some time.


Wallpaper/Flooring:

I don't know if this is possible to do with flooring, but it would be really cool to have a foggy floor, with fog rising from the floor, so customers walk through mist to get tho their tables.
If not that, something I've been really, really hoping for over the years is a dirt floor - we could use this in conjunction with so many other items to create a spooky scene, especially an outdoor scene.

Would especially love to see Gran-Gran, Phoebe, and Lee in costume :) Gran-Gran as a sorceress, Phoebe as Red Riding Hood, Lee as a superhero chef maybe?

Halloween-themed restaurant staff. Example: a skeleton waiter, a genie maitre'd, a ghost waitress, etc.

For returning items, I'd love to see the Good Witch, Wicked Witch display (4x4; 1st place prize in the Musical Crate) offered as an LTO, as well as additional Halloween decor items from years past (Headless Horseman, Crashing Witch, Jack o Lanterns, etc.) and past Halloween boxes on sale :)


Autumn/Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving got its own post here (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?105735-RS-Winter-Holidays-2018-Suggestion-Thread&p=1541770#post1541770) because of how long my idea became :p Really hope it's considered!

Other general autumn suggestions:

A goal or side goal that lets us unlock the Apple Cider recipe on the Drink Machine - this is so perfect for the season but it's remained locked on the Drink Machine since 2011. With other recipes being unshackled recently, I'm hoping this one will make the cut :)

Please bring back the 40% off gem sale!

Winter/Holidays

Returning Christmas recipes. Honestly, RS has a HUGE number of Christmas/winter recipes that were retired from regular appliances, and it would be great if they could come back and stay. We haven't had recipe additions to basic appliances in a very, very long time :(

Credit to youki388 and devlinholic for this next suggestion - a 4x4 Christmas dinner, with Gran Gran, Phoebe, and Chef Lee dressed in festive attire gathering around a dining table that's been dressed for the holiday, set with candles and food like Roast Beef, a Yule Log, a jug of Cranberry Cider or Eggnog glasses, etc. This is honestly a lovely idea, and even though we've had quite a few goal prizes with people gathered around tables having a good time, this one is special, simply because it's about family and nostalgia, and pays homage to the original RS trio of characters :)



New Year's Eve

A 4x4 New Year's Performance display - lots of singers do special New Year's Eve shows to welcome the new year around the world, so why not in RS? :) The display could be a glitzy stage with a band and singer, complete with glitter, balloons, and confetti to ring in the new year.
PARTY RECIPES! Examples: Brie Encroute, Olive Tapenade, Sparkling Ciders of different variations (ex. Apple, Grape, Pomegranate, Blueberry, etc.), Champagne Cupcakes, Cheese Fondue, and many more :)

It's August, but okay...

Halloween: hmmm...you guys did a really great job bringing the creepy factor last year instead of little kid type halloween. I say just stick with that!

Thanksgiving: I'd love to see the turkey & cornucopia balloons/floats from BS' parade crate migrate over, and the cheerleaders & tiny cars too. Maybe a goal theme could be our restaurant prepares food to donate to a shelter, and then the appliances, whatever foods they cook, could make a lot of servings?

Black Friday: if I could have any 1 item, it would be the indoor flow, out of box so I could actually get it. 2nd wish is for extra appliance slots to get discounted.

Christmas (my winter holiday of choice, but I appreciate decorations for other holidays in solidarity with my neighbors): hard to say, since those of us playing a long time have lots of xmas stuff already. I mean, I'd love the gingerbread castle out of box, but that seems unlikely! You could do a New York City christmas though, and have wall decor that looks like fancy xmas window displays. And bell ringers for the sidewalks.

We need trees that aren't so big. So maybe trees that are 2x2, or 1x1. I love the 4x4 trees, but they take up a lot of room, and I can't use many of them. Any and all Halloween decor (it's my favorite holiday & my wedding anniversary so I really do it up... in the game and real life 🤗). Maybe some cute Halloween trees with hanging lanterns, or pumpkin garland that could be used for Halloween & Thanksgiving. Oh lantern decor would be cute! I always use outdoor wallpaper for the holidays, so anything that has to do with the outdoors. I think a setting sun over rolling hills or fall trees wallpaper for fall/Thanksgiving would be cool. 2 different wallpapers for the same scene though. One with the setting sun, and the others the same scene just without the sun. So you'll only have one sun, not multiple in each panel. Maybe some doors that cost coins, not gems. A gem dispenser for Christmas or black friday. Old & new Christmas decor... ideas for new Christmas/Winter decor: Trains/polar express, Aurora Borealis, lights... lots of lights. My birthday is the first day of winter (December 21st), so maybe a winter solstice goal with a night wallpaper for the longest night of the year. Just a few suggestions! 😊

I have been playing Restaurant story for a long time and do to real life challenges, missed a lot of the older items/goals.
I have always admired the Treasure room and would love to see that.

Since so much of Thanksgiving takes place in the kitchen - ingredients, turkey roasting in the oven, pie prep, etc. - and because restaurants demand large kitchens, it would be great to receive multiple, smaller, modular kitchen pieces that we can place in the restaurant to design our own Master Kitchen.

RS actually explored this before with the Father's Day Goal (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?92234-Restaurant-Story-Goals-2016-June-15-quot-Decor-For-Dad-quot) content back in 2016 (pictured below). The content introduced was for an outdoor kitchen however; I'm hoping the same concept could translate to an indoor kitchen.

Pictured: Counters, Appliances, and Floor Decor prizes from the 2016 Father's Day Goal. The appliances and kitchen-based floor decor blend in with the counters, which gives us the ability to move things around and create our own kitchen layout.

The idea: to have counters and floor decor, based on the same counter design, which when placed side by side "attach" with each other seamlessly.

--The base: a standard counter that works as a normal counter would in RS. Designed so it can "attach" seamlessly with another countertop when they're placed side by side.
--The other "mods" would be the same counter design with something in or on them, and coded as floor decor b/c they shouldn't have food placed on top.

Example mods:
--a 1x1 sink
-- a 1x1 (or 2x1) pie prep space
--a 2x1 in-counter stovetop (non-appliance)
--a 1x1 counter piled high with mixing bowls
--a 1x1 counter with a fruit bowl on top (maybe a display of pumpkins and squash for the season), or a fall centerpiece on top
--a 1x1 counter with a crate of empty mason jars atop, ready for jam/canning
--a 1x1 counter with an open cookbook
--a 1x1 counter with an open oven underneath (again non-appliance)
--a 1x1 counter with open shelves underneath, housing pots and pans, etc.

Non-modular floor decor (but still wanted for the kitchen and for autumn):
--Gran Gran holding a freshly baked pie (maybe her famous Boysenberry Pie!)
--Phoebe wearing a fall apron holding a mixing bowl
--An autumn pantry, featuring autumn goodies like jars of pickled/canned produce, pumpkins, squash, figs, apples, etc.

Special Requests (please please please note these!!!):

Goal recipes usually produce smaller quantities, but Thanksgiving is supposed to be about BOUNTY, and is infamous for leftovers!! Whatever recipes we do get, please give us a large quantity of servings!!!
Get creative with the crockery! I hate hate hate seeing sheet pans and cooking pots used as servingware on counters :mad: People go all out for autumn with their tableware and servingware, and I'd like that to be reflected in Restaurant Story. I'd love to see some wonderful fall-themed servingware ideally, but there is also a lovely range of oven- or stove-to-table enameled stoneware that would be perfect for this if the art assets need to be reused.

Please bring back the Halloween Monster tables and chairs plus the Gothic tables and chairs.
For Christmas I would like to buy a few more Snowman table and Snowman chairs. Those chairs are so cute.
And if we never had them, it would be nice to be able to have Santa's reindeer similar to the ones at Bakery Story.

I want a spooky halloween and here are my suggestions how about a refrigerator partially open with a head on a plate inside that will be spooky. or a group of friends playing spirit of the glass on a table. Or a ghost hiding partially in a spooky tree ready to attacked a passerby. Or a chandelier with ghost hanging on it.

Halloween Arches! Christmas arches but allowing customers to walk through them what’s the purpose of arches if they have to walk around them. And quantity of food, it’s got to be more than 400 servings. Holidays should have plenty of food for your customers. Bring back the parade for Thanksgiving

- Christmas parade goal theme with float or deco as prize (Santa float?)
- Cute tables and chairs! Turkey (turkey leg chairs?) Cornucopia, Red/Green, Presents (gift wrapped tables?)
- Cute holiday goal food that yields a decent amount of food

With all the upcoming holidays, I would like to see the customers/patrons dressed in season appropriate clothing. There previously was a version of RS where Halloween patrons were dressed in costumes. Please do this for all the seasons.

My wish list for BF: gingerbread express, gingerbread castle, action dining, classic kitchen box discounted, frosty family & rustic snowglobe, gardener's chest discounted, holiday express, holiday story & Santa's workshop, indoor island, roma pantry, indoor waterfall, rose display, classroom aquarium, sleigh crate, salad bar and butterfly garden.

I like your ideas cara! I suggested floats to as decor but i really like your parade theme goal. I would like to see nice size pretty christmas trees and village type stands, old lamp posts, reindeer decor and christmas light displays. Even a hot cocoa stand ☺ ~DeeDee from Dee's Diner

Gingerbread Sleigh. I was really excited to get one in the Gingerbread crate but it needs to have the rotation reversed so we can match it with the reindeer The high part of the sleigh is the front when you try to put them together.. I hope it can be fixed before the holidays are over

I really like the Truffle chairs in Bakery Story It would be nice to see Truffle theme goals & decor in Restaurant Story as well 🤗 Maybe some new food choices to gift as well for my neighbors who prefer food gifts? Maybe some special seasonal foods like the valentines cupcakes already available 🙃
