Chapter 5

With great haste, our fine Lupus friend scoured the Forest for such a bizarre formation. "Where would I find star stones at this time of night?" ran through the Lupus'head over and over until it came to him. If he looked to the stars, the stones would reveal themselves! Five bright stars in the sky shined in a star-shaped constellation, and it was this that led our Lupus friend to the stones. The Lupus ran so fast, that the stars on his coat began to blur that he looked like a shooting star running on the floor of the Forest. He found the Star Stones glowing in cosmic splendour on the Forest's floor, but only as he found them did he realize something: he had no Star Dust...

Chapter 6

The Star Chart had to be true, for a Star Chart always led to friends when it pointed you in the right direction. But without Star Dust, our lonely Lupus was a loss. How could this evening be any fun without friends? As he looked solemnly towards the sky, the stars themselves were moving. The Lupus was sure this was the sing he had been looking for! But these were not stars moving, but wings shining with the beauty of the night sky. The Lupus had never seen anything quite like it, and he certainly never saw the object dropping from the sky...

It turns out that whatever was flying overhead had dropped something right on his his head! It was a bag or Star Dust just for him. When the Lupus looked up at his mysterious benefactor, all he saw was the beautiful tail of a rare Draco. He had never been lucky enough to meet a Draco in person before, and never quite so fortunate to have a bag of Star Dust dropped on his head by one. What happened before our curios Lupus'eyes was truly a sight to behold. As he poured the shining dust over the sparkling stones, a shimmering beam of light shot out of each of the five stones in the direction the Draco had flown! Whihout a moment to spare, the Lupus bolted leaving behind a nebulous cloud of stardust in his wake. Was this Draco to be his friend? Chapter 10

Suddenly the world was quiet; no noises from the Forest were coming past this tapestry, but our courageours Lupus pressed forward. As he was farther into this mysterious grove, he discovered himself in the Stellar Gardens of the Forest. Almost as soon as the thought popped in his head, the Stellar Garden began to glow in front of him. The blue glow of the trees lined his path as he strutted down the lush purple carpet of grass. He felt music in his step and he began to strut down this runway as if he were the star of a stellar performance. As he made his way into the garden, he found himself approaching a pool lit by moonlight. Suddenly the lights came off him, and focused on the pool as out of it arose the elegant and radiant Cygnus from the pool. Her white feathers were glowing brigter than any star in the sky, and she suddenly became the center of the world. Her performance was worthy of a tear and our Lupus friend was brought to tears. But as these tears were at their peak, the Cygnus raised a single wing towards the Lupus in invitation. Suddenly the Lupus found himself in a duet, dancing and singing the night away with his new Cygnus friend. On this night, he found more than just a friend, but an unforgettable experience.

Why is Draco looking the same as Sunrise Drake, except the colours, that's the only thing that's different. I always thought Sunrise Drake is special, not anymore.

As someone that never got the Sunrise Drake, I am actually quite glad that they are bringing that kind of animal back. I think I can speak for many people when I say that the cats are starting to go old.

Ok, so leave it to me to be the Negative Nancy as usual. I know that the Latin name for wolf is Canis Lupus. However, lupus is also an autoimmune disease. Not really my favorite name for an animal, you know?

Lupus is a also a star constellation. I believe that is why they chose that name.

That is the exact same thing I thought as soon as I saw the name. I get the other aspect of the name but really, this was a poor choice for a name. it's kinda depressing, every time I see it I think of that.

I don't know if you can tell, but he's got little white sparkles here and there which I haven't seen on any other animal. So, he's cute and also somewhat unique. I'm just happy he wasn't another horse.

I have had enough too. Asking us to try and breed three different animals with only one den, sick of trying when they are impossible to get, 3 beaver in a row, what are the odds on that? Also sick of not being able to get the monthly animals unless you can spend gold, which I can no longer do on a regular basis because of drought in our area. I am just going to harvest, collect and send gems for a while. Land is also another issue that they do not want to address.

The ones who got the Blazelisk before the chapter started, did get it with space/fire, including me. I think they changed it for the SB. I know i did got it with Caturn and Garnet Griffin.
Hope you get yours, some way. Good luck.

I'd just like to thank S8 for changing the Blazelisk breeding secretly as I've spent the last six days breeding space and fire with zero positive results. Now I need to hatch it and I'm basically starting over since they seem to program numerous fails in too. This may be a new low for the programmers.

I don't really know what's going on here, but I bred my Blazelisk using space and fire within the first couple days of the event on my newer account. It took me longer on my older account.

Well, I'm at the end of day five and surprise surprise, no Blazelisk to hatch. I've been trying to hatch him for the last six days. I started the story a day late. Why do I torture myself with this game. I'm coming to the end of playing it. Plus I only have two places left to expand so I'm literally coming to the end.

I have been trying to breed Blazelisk since the game started with the Space/Fire combo and no luck...I started the breed a Blazelisk goal yesterday and switch to the Fire/Nature combo and still no luck...hopefully I can get it bred today otherwise I will be too far behind to catch up without using gems that I don’t have and can’t afford to buy...I will keep trying though and maybe I will get it in time.

To clarify this issue, the Blazelisk have nature/fire as parents and this was not changed. The intent was to make it easier by not using space, but unfortunately there was some improper hint text in one of the tasks for some players. We apologize for the error. If you had the incorrect hint for Blazelisk and you have a support request, please contact support for assistance.

I got no "hint text" there was NO breed combo at all, and since there was none I assumed the elements of the animal were what to breed so I did. By not knowing about nature/fire at the beginning of the event when I bred blazelisk, this "easier" combo .. It took more bells to breed the hard way w space and fire but it worked. I put that combo in blazelisk thread because it's all I knew. Had a blazelisk side goal said nature/fire we would've all known. But to say there was a hint text? No, not at all

I don't even understand this hint txt theory.. Wouldn't a hint give the correct combo? The issue lies with s8 not giving the breed combo, not those of us that guessed because we started an event essentially blind...

The issue lies with s8 not giving the breed combo, not those of us that guessed because we started an event essentially blind...Breeding combo information should be included by default in every animal description. That way there is no confusion - when the animal is available in the store, you have the info right there to know how to breed it. Every animal should have listed either "Breed X Element and X Element" or "Not Available Through Breeding" - and this information should be regularly updated whenever animals are brought back.

The fact that Storm8 does not do this implies either that their quality control is lacking or that they are intentionally withholding information from players in order to promote gem sales - or both. Either way, it reflects poorly on the company.

Also, animal rarity levels should actually mean something, and that information should be available somewhere - in the game FAQ, or SOMEWHERE. For example, "Common: Odds for breeding animal are approximately 1/x. Rare: Odds for breeding animal are approximately 1/xx." Etc. But again, by withholding this information, the game makers can manipulate the odds behind the scenes without accountability, making the chances of breeding a common much lower during the event for which it's needed, and returning them to their regular setting when the event is over - or not if they forget, because we really have no way of knowing, and it seems like they forget a lot of things. :(

Common animals should not become extremely hard to breed at anytime. The odds should stay the same. The fact that they are difficult when they are needed during an event means that it's just another way for S8 to get us to buy and use gems. When Blazelisk was first introduced in the shop all any of us saw was space and fire. I got blazelisk by breeding plutopus and pyro. When I bred it there weren't any threads in the forum covering SB or blazelisk and all my info came from what I saw in the shop. I have no idea what is meant by an "improper hint text" is but if anyone is at fault for this mess up it's S8.

I totally agree. It's interesting that you mention quality control as I just made a post where I used the terms "quality assurance" and "quality improvement." :)

I have time for 1 more battle to try to win level 30. Been on it over 24 hours. If I don't complete story book, I will stop playing soon. It's the only event that I can win in. So disappointed.

Please, S8, stop linking tournaments to the Storybooks. I don't want to be forced to do a tournament to complete a Storybook. Thank you.
