I think these items would work well if I ever do a carnival/fun fair theme but I doubt I'll display any of the decos often. I do really like the names of the recipes though. I love it when they go the extra mile to make the names of the recipes really tie in with the ovens or theme of the update.

As for the Side Goal however... not happy this time; it seems like they're just fobbing off anything as a prize these days. I just don't understand how they can justify picking a random deco (that's available to everyone all the time) and call it a prize. It makes sense when they relist old LTOs and old goal decos for Side Goals because they're giving newer players a chance at the items. Please, s8 can you return to actual prizes next time?

Also I was not able to complete the 5 day goal and I wanted that hot air balloon! :( I had a fun-filed weekend otherwise (hence why I was too busy to apparently complete the goal). I do not know yet what I want my restaurant theme to be. I don't have a big enough place yet.. but not sure if rollercoasters can tie into much of anything except yes, maybe a carnival or fun fair theme.

Completely agree. How does a Silly Strawberry tie into this at all? They could have done the Carousel, Surrey, or even the Boardwalk Sign.

It a goal from 2013 (the Boardwalk Goals) a few years back. But it would have tied in better, maybe not completely but it is a start to improving the Side Goal Prizes.

In the (Frozen Banana Stand) I was able to complete. and able to get the Boardwalk Counter, But not the 2nd oven, let alone even start it. (the Frosty Freezer) from the
Boardwalk Goals.

But there are many new players would have a chance at getting them. Or even old players who never got the chance to do the goals/did not finish in time.

It would make much more sense then this Silly Strawberry at least.

But I will skip out on the side goal. Not necessary/wanted in my bakery.

20 request today/ or that day.

- Your NBRS may not be on when you send them.

- They may get them

- A reason, if you want to believe it. Or feel like it could be true, It has happened to me. Your NBR could see it, but just not accept it.

A possible reason is that I have had requests appear only after I have accepted the ones appearing earlier. I remember before more requests could appear together after reset but now only fewer do so together. Another request appears after acceptance so if you only send 20 requests to players who play daily they might not see your requests immediately. Your request appears after they accept requests appearing before yours.I believe this happens since I experienced it. Other reasons kappy333 wrote may also have happened. I just try be patient and wait for my nbrs to accept. This time took me about a day or less after reset but not sure sent abt 10-15 requests to get 9 acceptance. For me since I'm in time zone 12 hrs away from US time I wait and got acceptances when my nbrs are awake and playing. Sorry if chezkaye13 wait 2 days to get nine tickets.

How would you even know if that neighbor isn’t able to send you a gift because you’re always full by the time they get to send gifts?

I am an excellent neighbor who always responds to requests promptly and sends gifts every morning. However, I don’t always tip. But my neighbors don’t mind because I’m great with everything else.

Imagine a neighbor who never gets my tips or never gets my gifts because they’re always full. Are you saying it’s fair that they decline my requests just because I don’t tip or gift, even if I always accept their requests?

I get that everyone has different playing styles, but I think it’s so rude for anybody to decline gift requests, no matter what the reason. You should at least let that neighbor know you’re declining their requests and the reasons for doing so, so at least they’re aware, and you’re not making them wait for something that will never come and wasting their time.

These goals are hard to complete for some people as it is, without mean neighbors declining requests on top of that.

Love the main goal so much! IMO it is much more productive to let a neighbor know that you expect them to to and gift than to just decline a request which teaches them nothing because they didn't know you've declined it AND leaves you with a neighbor who doesn't suit your play style. I realize that takes longer than clicking decline, by accepting doesn't take any more of your time than declining so....

Sorry autocorrect kinda messed up my post but I think the essence is there. I would never decline a request I would accept it and if you're really that irritated with a neighbor better to delete them than to decline their requests. Just seems really mean and ineffective. Passive aggressive. Just my opinion.

No you do not have to finish or start the side goal before you can get to the rest of the goal.

So even if you do not do it/ or if you do the side goal last, the rest of the goals will still pop up. And more will come.

And it will still be there until remaining time is over.

Hahaha. While that wasn't the image that sprang to my mind; I'll admit I did have to do a double-take to figure out what I was seeing when purchasing the new tiles. I still don't really understand why the tiles have popcorn spilled on them when I'm pretty sure there's not anything popcorn related in any of the new content. Especially considering we've already got popcorn tiles; as a previous poster suggested, roller coaster tracks probably would've been a better option.

Yes, Silly Strawberry is cute... Yes, it's worth more than 10 gem...But a 1x1 side goal prize?! Should of been at least 2x2 !?
Players put a lot of time & effort into each & every goal. We should be rewarded as such.
All that being said, I'm giving in to do this side goal. All the Silly Strawberry item were released the year before I started playing. And I want it...
