I lost all of my items in a second when the program crashed, including 16-hours dresses and bags and shoes, not to mention all the gifts from neighbors. :( I know this is a free game, but could you please do something about this? Thanks!

It happened to me too over the weekend, lost about 8,000+ items; this is the same bug that also existed in the early versions of RS and BS. I posted about this bug when it happened in RS and BS when they were first released, but never got an admission of its existence and never saw it being completely fixed. So here it is again :(

I'll let our engineers know. Can you provide some more info, like:

-What device are you using?
-What version of iOS do you have?
-What were you doing/what screen were you on when the game crashed?
-Was there any type of error message displayed?
-Where you connecting via 3G or Wifi?

That, and anything else you can provide, will help us fix the issue ASAP.

Argh... Come on, this happens since Tyrannosaurus! Teamlava never fix anything! It happens on RS, BS, NS, & FasS, I assumed as long as stories that go with selling, it happens.

...and they will continue to do absolutely nothing about it. They don't listen to their customers (who ultimately pay their bills), they don't clean up the board... it is still full of porn messages:

[deleted]

They will not fix the described bug and they will also not release an update, as they promise in the main app description (false/fraudulent advertising).

Yeah, right... ROTFL!

Hello GroupMagma,

the "inappropriate content" I have linked to, is on YOUR BOARD and nowhere else!! I have intentionally linked to the content to show the way how YOU run YOUR board. The board is nowhere from being child-proof. Registration was a good step, but you miserably failed to do the next logical step: Cleaning up the board!

The domain "teamlava.com" stays blocked on my kids computers. They like to play TL's games, but I definitely don't want them to be exposed to this content.

Why did you not remove the content (porn) after implementing registration? There is still so MUCH more out there... and you don't seem to care.

Please don't ask us (the users) for the location of the inappropriate posts. That's your job!

Okay...since I'm an eternal optimist, I'll bite:

-What device are you using?

IPad (Gen 1)

-What version of iOS do you have?

4.3.1

-What were you doing/what screen were you on when the game crashed?

I was in FhS, admiring the never-ending stream of frenzied shoppers flowing in and out of my store

-Was there any type of error message displayed?

Yes there was, the usual generic "Oh Darn! XYZ Story is an online game ... Yada Yada ..."

-Where you connecting via 3G or Wifi?

I was connected via my home WiFi. It's a fiber optic connection to my ISP which provides 25Mbps of unshared upload and download speed and there was definitely nothing wrong with the line or the WiFi.

I appreciate your attempt to help us and really hope something will come of it. This bug has existed since Restaurant Story and was carried over to Bakery Story and now Fashion Story.

Oh, before I forget, it just happened to me again, more then 10,000 items on the shelves and racks gone in an instant. This time around, I had just started the game (cold start, not from the background), and all the items that were there 10 minutes ago are now gone. I got the coins for everything, but as I said in another post, the coins isn't the point. We don't play these games to accumulate worthless e-Coins, we play it to pretend that we are great chefs, pastry chefs, chocolatiers and now fashion designers.

The point is that emptying all our racks of clothing or counters of food and then dumping the coins on us is akin to our entering a fine dining restaurant to order the chef's finest creations and then sweeping everything on the floor when he serves it and then throwing money into his face expecting him to keep quiet.

Please help.

It happened to me too, 2 days ago. But, as in RS + BS, I earned the money inmediately.

-What device are you using? iPod 2G
-What version of iOS do you have? I think it was 4.0.1 or 4.1
-What were you doing/what screen were you on when the game crashed? Nothing. I've opened the store, left the game. Few minutes later I opened the game again, and everything was gone
-Was there any type of error message displayed? no
-Where you connecting via 3G or Wifi? home wifi

Thank you guys for continuing to post device information. This definitely helps us find the root of the underlying problem. :)

Also, @kirianncats, I can confirm that the Support email is support@teamlava.com. Are you receiving an error message or failed delivery notification when you attempt to send to this address?

Happened to me too, I lost everything this morning after having 8 hour clothes brewing all night. I put them out and as i went to cololect my gifts the game crashed on my iPhone 4 and i lost everything. I did not get the money for them.

Team Lava, you should not have put this game out yet. It's not fair. It should come with a BETA warning!!!

I wouldn't say that the game is still in BETA. I believe that the issue has more to do with the algorithm used for the reconciling of stock and money numbers when the data in the client is too far different from the data on the server. It seems to be the same one used in RS, BS, NS and FhS because they all exhibit the same propensity of wiping out everything on your counters when you go too far off sync; which leads me to question how the collection of device information would help in solving this.

There are possibly hundreds, maybe thousands of ways that a loss in connection may occur. Instead of looking at how these devices lose connection, shouldn't we instead be revising the algorithm for the reconciling of data between the server and the client? Perhaps making it more customer friendly by updating the server's numbers to match the clients' instead of wiping the counters clean?

Now that's what I call feedback! 

Not that I know anything about programming, on another note, could it have something to do with items being liked?

Items that went almost instant missing for me were liked items. When I returned to my shop from visiting nbrs, the only item left was a rack of shirts that hadn't been liked. Just wondering

That is not the same thing then. When it wipes your shop it really wipes your shop. What happened to you must have been a buying frenzy :D

Hmm... no, I don't think so. When the items disappeared from my racks/counters, it was a complete wipe, regardless of whether or not the items were "liked".

This "wipeout" also occurs in RS, BS and, I was told, NS (though I've not experienced it myself) and in those games, you don't "like" the food/drinks, you "tip" the tables or pull customers onto the dance floor so the disappearing actually happens away from the areas you tap.

This happened to me for 2 times in a week. I had around 10k items lost an hour ago. I'm so frustrated.

Glad I'm not the only one! Playing on IPad Gen1. Up to date OS and secure WiFi connection. It sucks to spend all the time it takes to accumulate merchandise, then it disappears in a matter of minutes! If it doesn't stop soon, I'm deleting. The way it stands now the game is nothing but, stress. Who needs it??

Same here - build stock only to have it go in thirty seconds. I'm getting the cash, but it totally wipes my store the second I log out after unblocking the doors.

Hi. I just lost all but two racks of clothes and I've been working very diligently to fill up my store. This really sucks!! I have an I-phone 4 that is up to date and was moving a couple of racks around (as I have numerous times in the past without losing my entire, slowly accumulated, inventory) to accommodate more stuff. Now I have to start over and I'm not a happy camper. My ID is delisaa.

I too just lost 85% of my racks..stuff I had done over night & new stuff this a.m. I am on an I-pad type one. this has not happend to me before. No offline message or no error notes. I am connected via home wireless router. I did not lose any crops, baked goods, or drinks... By the way...whats with the on going problem with "" dead spots"". I had Valentine farm but had so many proble,
ms i deleted and still have dead spots on my fields. okay, back to the fashion story..I noticed that I got increaed coins but now my poor shop looks like a bare mess... very frustrating when I look forward to weekend and want to devote time and efforts to my TeamLava games.
