* You must be level 20, and have built Thurston's Fort and Sabina's House.

Here's a version of yours, with Sabina's house where she originally was, and the Glimmergate, Cavern of Wilds, Tree of the Wilds, Hidden Outpost (N10) and Mountain of the Wilds in their original squares.

Thurston: Don't fret, Princess. I'll be by your side the whole time.

From Meme1098: When you visit the Hidden Outpost, make sure there are no monsters on your board. It's supposed to trigger the faun. Once you fight the faun it will drop the seal. After that, I couldn't get a faun to spawn from the outpost for more seals, so I tried the cloudberry bushes & rooted lilium. The lilium worked the best at spawning the faun for more seals.

Goal 7:

Ruler: Perhaps... *Perhaps I should call on Thurston for an intervention... I don't have a good feeling about this.*

Thurston: My liege, there you are! I've been looking all over for you.
Ruler: You've been looking for me?
Thurston: Yes! I sense my princess in danger. Any knight worth his glimmerdust doth not leave a damsel in distress.
Ruler: I was looking for you as well, but couldn't find you. When I returned to the cavern, they were both gone.
Thurston: Gone?! My liege, we must find her at once! I do not trust this Epelus...

Goal 3
Thurston: This place is far too dangerous for a princess! Why did I ever let her come here.
Ruler: Don't beat yourself up, Thurston. You were trying to make her happy.
Thurston: And now where is she? Off an some dangerous adventure with a handsome centaur... He probably doesn't even appreciate that her hair smells of strawberries.
Ruler: Strawberries?
Thurston: Nevermind!
Epelus: Ah! I see you both have returned.
Ruler: Epelus?

Ruler: What did you do with Sabina?!
Epelus: What did I do? She probably returned home. Or ran off -- who knows. I suggest you both do the same. The Wilds is no place for you. Farewell.
Thurston: My liege, we must do something.
Ruler: I know, Thurston. Perhaps we can wait until he's asleep and sneak into his cavern to find a clue?
Thurston: Great idea, my liege! Lead the way.

Goal 5
Ruler: I knew that Epelus was no good...
Thurston: He's kidnapped our princess! Just wait until I get my hands on him!
Ruler: Calm down, Thurston. We can fix this. We just need to come up with a plan. Epelus probably took her deeper into the Wilds... We're going to need to find someone who knows a thing or two about them.

Goal 6
Old Thomas: To save our princess, you must journey deep into the Wilds. These are dangerous lands but I think I know someone who can help. I have an old friend who owes me a favor. He lives on the outskirts of the Wilds. Take this letter to him. He should be able to assist you on this perilous journey.

I imagine that it works like other expansions and that you will have open adjacent plots first. I see that one at least requires permits, which leaves me out as I just used all the ones I have. I hope that it's not required to open that area in 7 days because it's not going to happen for me. So far the others require things that I have or can be had during the event.

I am surprised that this is a timed event because it's part of the storyline, but it seems that S8 is acting like Sabrina and Thurston aren't married, so it's hard to figure out what's going on. I am just thrilled that we're getting back to storyline characters and have a break from endless fairies, more pirates and mermaids, although I did like the last event.

Guess we will see about how the expansions work this week. It's certainly nice to see them!

If you have any direwolves, White flygers, and armored flygers....place them and collect often. They drop earth wisps, the occasional wisp lantern and even rarely, an expansion permit. The regular yellow flygers and all the flygers kits also drop wisps and rarely a completed lantern.
I collect from mine regularly and it helps to keep up with the lanterns. Lately, I keep one crafting in the tinker camp at all times.

You don't need expansion permits to complete Into the Wild goal at least. 1600 Royal Points, 10 wisp lanterns, 120,000 coins & a princess bow.

You don't need expansion permits to complete Into the Wild goal at least. 1600 Royal Points, 10 wisp lanterns, 120,000 coins & a princess bow.

I was wondering too. It doesn’t say in the game part 1 has to be completed in 7 days. It just says “play part 1”. Side goals are typically just part of the road in an accelerated time manner. I hope we gain more clarity here.

I put four buildings there but I can?t collect from them... looks like it is either a glitch that we were given access to it or there is a glitch that we can?t collect from buildings in that area.

The timed goal will reward you a Wisp if you complete Pt.1 of the "Search for Sabina" storyline within the 7 day time frame "Into the Wilds" is active (so by 7/11 at 6PM PT) . There are 4 parts to the "Search for Sabina" storyline overall, and completing the "Into the Wilds" side goals does not affect your progression in the overall story, it just rewards you with a pet if you decide to meet this challenge.

The Into the Wilds goals will complete as you progress through "Search for Sabina".

Unfortunately I started on the wrong foot! Just before event-start I cleared my Castle! So decided to send out a 4hr multi Fishing Adventure to find the sword. Collecting this morning.. I received nothing, so that Adventure didn't work for me. Instead of waiting another whole day.. I'll 12 gem the sword instead of speeding the Castle. The shield I already got from the 2nd Watch Tower collected.
I don't know what the timed side-goal gives exactly.. but sounds cute whatever it is and don't want to slag behind.

I'm thinking *fend off* means fight a monster, the Wisp. So make sure your board is clear of monsters next time you tap them.

I was fortunate to have an adventure waiting, which gave a sword. Got two shields from my towers, which made me greedy. My knights have now been out looking for toadstools a number of times from the castle, which twice gave a sword, and in the mean time I collected from the towers until I got one more shield. I have now collected the armor, which I am ready to give, have one more armor being crafted, and still have an extra sword and shield. It has set me back in time (which I hope I won't regret), but I think the graphic is just too pretty and laborous to get rid off in an instance

The second goal requires you to pick 25 of the blue colored berries, then to give the 25 berries to Thurston. Finally got sword on my 4th Toadstool attempt (castle.) I was starting to get desperate. Mine showed on the screen but 1-2 people said theirs didn't; they found it in their inventory. Easy way to check - open magic forge and see if it's there as an available ingredient.

S8 confirmed in an earlier post that we only have to complete goal 1 out of 4 to finish the timed sidequest and get the pet

For the grand rooted lilum, unless you are on goal 3 out of 4, you dont need to chop one. The blue cloudberries drop from the orange cloudberry bushes

The timed goal will reward you a Wisp if you complete Pt.1 of the "Search for Sabina" storyline within the 7 day time frame "Into the Wilds" is active (so by 7/11 at 6PM PT) . There are 4 parts to the "Search for Sabina" storyline overall, and completing the "Into the Wilds" side goals does not affect your progression in the overall story, it just rewards you with a pet if you decide to meet this challenge.

The Into the Wilds goals will complete as you progress through "Search for Sabina".
Hmmmm maybe I misunderstood this then? It makes it sound like we only have to complete part 1 of 4

EDIT: Just for clarity I mean the goal titled "Search for Sabina 1/4" in our goal book. It has 11 steps to complete it and as you work through thise 11 steps, you will automatically check off the" Into the Wilds" sidegoal. Sidegoal has to be completed to get the wisp

Make sure you don’t already have a beast spawned on your board. Also, try to collect from all the bushes at once and use the quick collect method. (For Apple IOS, tap all items to collect then swipe up for the control panel, then back down. Or swipe down for notifications, then back up.) The wisps are a rather rare spawn, but I usually get one for every 10-15 bushes. And I get plenty of skunkupines as well.

I finished the side quest and got the Wisp pet which opened the expansion for the Cavern of the Wilds. My problem is getting the blue ones to drop from the bushes. I spawned a wisp and from earlier posts I think I should keep it on my board so it will be available when the goal comes.

The last goal in part II is to collect 10 berries from Tree of the Wilds and give them to Sabina. Drops from the tree are very infrequent, so if you really want to speed it up - you are probably better off "skipping" berries for 200 gems from the goal. Once part II is finished, first task in part III is to find Thurston (which is fairly easy), but then the second goal asks you to open up the next plot for 2 enchanted lanterns and 3 expansion permits. So - unless you have extra permits handy - there is no need to rush the berry collection...

Have any fellow collectors successfully gotten a second sword to drop from adventures?

I've been collecting extras of all new items for my inventory but the sword is giving me issues. I got the first sword from an Adventure and used it to start crafting Sabina's armor. Then I started sending out adventures to get another sword while I spent 12 gems to buy a sword to craft the second armor for my inventory.

I've been sending out the shorter adventures since yesterday trying to get another sword to drop but haven't had any luck. Do the swords stop dropping from adventures once it's checked off of the goal? I haven't collected the armor yet from either forge so the goal isn't completed which is why I'm thinking maybe the sword stops after the task is checked off in the goal. I don't want to keep wasting time on adventures if the sword isn't going to come but I'll gladly burn another day waiting if it will eventually drop so I'm just looking for confirmation either way from any other collectors out there. I was being so careful with my goals to ensure I got my extras but I really think I did things in the wrong order this time..

The only requirements for this quest are you must be level 20 and have built Thurston's Fort & Sabina's House.
As I observed in the Sneak Peek thread and others have discussed in this thread, that means this Search for Sabina questline is a PREQUEL to the wedding goals and is finally explaining why they ended up getting married (it wasn't out of the blue, afterall! lol)

SW ~ I've noticed quite a few people confused by this, here AND in the game. Maybe a little note in the first post with the Goal Pre-requisites might help to let folks know this happens before the wedding.
PS. In post 2, the Pre Goal that autocompletes happened too fast to capture a pic but I saw it real fast. Unsure of the listed order but it was:
Build Thurston's Fort
Build Sabina's House
...and it rewarded 5 gems (!) :)

Phoenix, Dark Wyvern, Shattered/Scorched Tuftkin, and Woodland Cannon drop Earth Wisps, if you're crafting Wisp Lanterns like me.

Edit: I'm second guessing myself on Dark Wyvern, but from my shoddy memory because I haven't collected from it in a long time, I think it drops Earth Wisps.

Ive got blue cloud berries from my pet wisp, 2 at the last collection. It’s very pretty! At last something to work on, I don’t mind it is a prequel, it’s nice to have characters from the main story line and apart from the wisp, not timed. I only need two more tridents for the mermaid section to finish that quest so really pleased there is something else to work on. I had stored about 12 expansion permits as I wanted enough to open a whole line at once. I guess my OCD tendencies payed of this time. Good luck to everyone

At some point we could get Mitheral dragons that drop it. I have two, so it is not a problem. Don?t remember when they were offered.

Mithral Dragon is available for 400 gems. It's a rare drop but Armored Wyvern dropped mithral.

Interestingly, I'm still on Step 8 of 1/4 but after I opened L10 with the pink bow, etc., I had the permits to also open L11 and L12 without being prompted to do so. Removed my parked Troll and while collecting from cloudberry bushes spawned a wisp, defeated it, and later found the wisp pet in my storage. Haven't seen the centaur yet, probably have to finish collecting berries, etc.

I would suggest don't hurry and do anything before time, even if u can. As we move along through the goals.. everything's 'asked for' in the various goals.
Do whatever only at that time otherwise u'll see they're not dropping, u're not finding, u've to wait for the next collection time or u can't do what u need.

In this event, the completed goals trigger the following ones, also giving u the drops needed.. but only at the time they're asked for.

If you can.. invest in buying a Mirthril Dragon. There has never been enough and always has been used as a bottleneck in the game. It's one of the *rarest* material drops, from the Mines usually, and eventually are always required. Same issue as mumaloveson, can?t seem to get the tree of wilds to drop wild berries, have I missed something as if it does finally drop some I hope at this rate it isn?t 1 at a time. The tree has a 4 hour timer

Yea...I complained a few pages back that the pink tree wasn't dropping the pink wildberries.

It took about the 7th collection before it dropped for me chewingthecud.

This will take a really, reallllly looonnng time for sure to get the required 10! It's not timed so no need to waste gems here.

There probably isn’t any connection, but my perception is that I get better special/rare drops when I also need the normal drops. (E.g. gold nuggets from mines when I need stone, or syrup from maple trees when I need sap too.) We shall see! In the meantime, I will wait for pink berries, because I need to restock lanterns and work on trades anyway.


Edit: Well....my theory was disproved first time out. Not only did I not get a pink whatsit berry, I didn’t even get sap. :blue:

Same over here, might takes days to collect 10 of them in order to move forward. I am crafting lantern while waiting lol.

I totally agree that rare drops happen more often when you also need the not rare stuff like sap, wood, stone, etc. I've tested the theory many times and it can't be a coincidence that it almost always works!!

When you're collecting, there is a chance for a wisp to spawn.

I expanded to the square with the cavern and the centaur. I seem to have acquired an awful lot of centaur droppings (aka small rock piles and tree stumps).

And I got the wisp, so have parked a beast for now - guessing I need to move it when the caverns are ready to collect. I've spawned rather a lot of wisps so would like to do a few rounds of the cloudberries without.

You won't be able to do lantern crafting until you reach the goal that says so. Only then will the cloudberries start counting in your workshop. They however are not lost if you keep collecting.. you'll need them on your goal wall and leftovers appear on the counter in the workshop after.

I am having trouble doing the 1st expansion to L10, I have all the requirements to include the Princess Bow but when I go to the area Princess Bow does not show in the requirement list. I have tapped on the area to the right and left and still no Bow shows as a requirement. I have uninstalled and reinstalled game on Android tablet. I had no problem expanding on my Android phone. Any suggestions?

2 or 3 events ago, IF I recall correctly😖 now I have 23 useless spires that are only good for royal points now😩lol

I had the same problem with having had purchased high amount of royal point spires, so instead i sold them.

This freed up my inventory to purchase other buildings such as several taverns, cathedrals, farm houses and so on

If you can afford it, I'd suggest you try it as well
