No EXP gained for making recipes

I haven't been taking screenshots because I thought it might sort itself out, but on several ovens, I will make food and then not gain any EXP from the recipe and I'll only notice after several days when I don't make any noticeable progress in the recipe level (usually once I am halfway through level 4). Does this happen to anyone else??

In the end, it's not a big deal, but that's how I determine which appliances I switch out for different goals and seasons.

I'm on Android 7.0 for reference.

Which specific recipes are giving you this issue?

Sorry, I'm not in the forums often. It was sort of all over the place on different appliances. I remember some on the basic oven and a few from goal ovens, but I don't remember the exact ones. usually I would switch recipes and those would gain EXP. I think it might just be an occasional glitch?

If it happens again, I'll post the recipes I'm having issues with. Thanks!
