* Help! I can't see the upgrade button? If you do not see the upgrade button, click somewhere else on the board and then click back on the item. The buttons should return. Force close if still not showing.
* Help! The drops aren't going into my inventory! There is a counter on the top right of screen and all drops go there. They do not go into inventory.

* To get the first individual prize, you need to collect 20 plush swords.
* When you reach 20, the next individual prize opens up for you and will show you how many plush swords you will need for the next individual prize.
* Once you reach 63 plush swords, you are eligible for any and all of the prizes that are earned by the community (shown on the second row).
* The total number of plush swords is updated on the counter as soon as they drop, not when they are collected.
* Be mindful that upgrading resets the timer back to 2 hours.

Just keeping track of rates: I got 8 Plush Magic from 20 hits on a toy box.
I got 4 Plush Wizards from eight red mushrooms.
I got 4 Plush Witches from 20 swans. Spawned a fang, but nothing unusual dropped from it.

The toy theme is a bit...cutesy? I mean, the items on the splash screen look adorable and all but I'm just not exactly sure how well they'll fit in with the other items in my realm.

I took a quick look through the market and see that the final milestone prize, the Plush Prince and Princess is on sale for 1,000 gems. Reading the description makes it seem like they'll act like a daily Ali but since it's new the minimum will probably be 2 energy. Not a bad prize for the event I guess but I'm gonna hold of on starting until this evening because I've got real life things to attend to.

All updates for the last year or more have been recycled. There's a template for LBs & Community Events, Storybooks, & the common 10 part goals. It really gets so tiresome.

Nothing's ever new & as players keep commenting....the actual storyline has been so long no one at S8 even knows where it ended last. And for clarification...the Mermaids have nothing to do with 'Castle Story'. So don't continue that & pass it off as part of the story.

Considering lakes and mermaid pond are in the featured section, I suspect the troll thieves spawn from there. Im not at that goal so my lakes havent spawned anything yet, but this would be the same pattern as past events. Also, I think someone had it backwards, you defeat the troll spawn to get a "plush skunkupine" not the other way around. Skunks drop the queen plush toy (which makes sooooo much sense lol *sarcasm*)

As they're spawned from the ponds.. the info I read in the chart post#17 seems wrong? no wonder my skunkies don't drop any goodies or spawn anything.. lol!
I'm stuck with my usual Ivy's! so will move on when she's ready. I collected her too early with the hope of spawning a Troll, but 'twas too early.

I think I know where this is going...I have ESP. There will be three different crafted items, taking a half hour, one hour and two hours to craft. The two hour item will require a visit to Ivy for an ingredient. The upgrades will be two of each, three of each, five of each and eight of each. There will be an adventure requiring a very rare drop as a component which will get you more of the items, hopefully one of whatever comes from Ivy.

But this is all pure guesswork.... lol 😉

I took a quick look through the market and see that the final milestone prize, the Plush Prince and Princess is on sale for 1,000 gems. Reading the description makes it seem like they'll act like a daily Ali but since it's new the minimum will probably be 2 energy. Not a bad prize for the event I guess but I'm gonna hold of on starting until this evening because I've got real life things to attend to.

Nah, there are 4 things listed. They will act as that immensely stupid knight steed I worked hard for and has dropped exactly 2 gems this whole time (on sale now, beware!). Not falling for that. Since when is Ivy officially a witch?

I've checked all my bird related animals and have gotten Plush Witchs from Swans, Black Swans, Chicken, Gnome Chicken, Turkey Chicken, Spring Chick. And of course the Love Chickens and Swanson aren't dropping the event items.

I needed it to make the next craft, so I waited until there was 9 hrs left and used 18 gems. I don't normally do that but I'm going out of state tomorrow and will have limited play all weekend.

I collected the plush troll and crafted the knight gift using the plush troll. But 1+ hr later, the dialogue reappear and my goal on the collection of plush troll became uncomplete. So, i have to wait for next collection from ivy's house to complete the goal. Sigh...

I like the mermaid expansion - but it seems so weird with just four big spaces... could have made more and connect to the Forrest and with a port? .... and maybe more update on the actual story with events that could contribute to give a player an advantage if compleated the goals in the real story .... or something... just thinking and playing and drinking coffee, before buying any chests ... hi hi 🙈😅😂😂😂

I'd definitely report that as was suggested. This is a pretty big issue, especially when you take into consideration that deleting/reinstalling the app is a standard go-to when trying to fix a bug. This makes me very wary of both doing this in the future and suggesting it as a fix.

I feel like most of the materials are super confusing, the images on the dolls kinda/sorta match the name it was given but I'm not too proud to admit I had to check and double check which ones I needed visually instead of just using the write up like I usually do. Add to that, the dolls don't come from the obvious places that their image would lead you to believe and I'd be a little lost if I wasn't paying close attention and making my own ***** sheet, lol. I thought for sure I'd need to put out OT's house for his doll and that Ivy would drop the Witch Doll but....nope!

Whatever the last event we had that needed trades done to “help” and required golden eggs, used up my stash of gold eggs. My chickens have down right refused to lay them since, whereas I was getting a golden egg every other day some times multiple gold eggs. Just like living wood, seems like the drop rate for it is also really low.
I don’t want to use the last few gold eggs I have :(

I just did my first ten minutes of weekend warrior. I put out 20 rocks and collected 117 knights, which is more than I need (need 110 in total, and I have completed the first level, so I need 100 more). No more rocks for me.
I also chopped 42 toy boxes and got 269 Magic and 17 fangbeasts. I didn't let the skunks spawn, because I didn't want to have to stop and fight them, but I know I may need to chop more boxes just to spawn skunks. I still need 121 more Magic, which is only another 19 toy boxes.
Guess for the next ten minutes I should fight skunks, but it seems like a waste of a good ten minutes.

Most will be done with the WW if you plan it right. Then it is a loooong wait until your get the Plush Trolls from Ivy's Hut.

For the first ten minutes my focus was rocks, because they are quick and I didn't want to spawn from them. I worked out I needed about 20 rocks. My device is pretty quick, so I know I could chop a lot more than that in the time, so I did boxes as well. I figured I needed about 50, but I was a little short. I only spawned and ****ed three skunks, and then left the fourth one there for the second ten minutes (which I haven't done yet). I tidied up my crops and animals, just because I like it when there are no bobbing arrows, so I just randomly clicked on everything when I was done with my rocks and boxes. I used the unlimited energy method. I had tried the refill method on my phone before, but I didn't get through as much.

My very old iPad is a completely different story, and I was relieved to get through the twenty rocks because it is so slow. I used the refill method for that one, because it gives me a bit more time. I had put out about 50 boxes, but I hardly got through any of them, and I didn't even try to get any skunks.

I cleared off a sizable space for toy chest and another space for rocks. Everything else is on a timer so you can only rack up on the stuff from the rocks and chest. I chop the chest to 20 as fast as I can then quick collect if it spawns a skunk, I don’t **** him, but quickly chop up 2-3 additional chest, quick collect, then **** the skunk and repeat. You have to have space between chest and rocks cause the monster will spawn and blue them out. I pretty much did the same with rocks till it spawns a golem, leave him alone and quick chop/collect the rocks. I ran through mushrooms and chickens on quick collect with remaining seconds, then make sure I didn’t leave a monster so I can focus on ponds with the 40 energy left after the timer was over.

I did not plan my WW well at ALL - ran out of things on the board at one point. Did not buy chests like I should have. >.<

On the other hand, skunks turned up a *lot* from iceland poppies (white flower), like one in FOUR times.

Because of needing the stupid thieves, I chose to fight monsters during unlimited, which I knew in advance is a HUGE waste of unlimited due to time/swing. :-(

Well, if my estimates are correct the WW got me pretty well set up and all I need to collect for the rest of the event are Plush Trolls, Fools and a few Queens and Skunkupines which isn't too bad. I was surprised by the number of Plush Fangbeasts I got from the chests, because I wasn't getting many before WW. I was expecting to get a few just based on the shear number of chests I smashed but I got 32 in total so I'm very happy with that turn out. I'll be able to send out a couple of trades to hopefully compensate for Ivy's timer.

Here's the thing though, I do like and appreciate the WW every Friday but really we only need them because all of the events now require ridiculous amounts of chopping and collecting. Wouldn't it be better if they mixed up the event requirements so that we didn't need such high amounts of the same item instead? I mean, if I had to choose between keeping WW and the current event set up or no WW and events with more variety I'd easily pick no WW and more variety...but that's just me.

Now that I'm done with most of my collecting I'm back to setting reminders to log in for the timed collections and craft switches for the rest of the event which is pretty boring regardless of the cutesy story or decos they try to hide the tedium behind. C'mon s8, haven't you ever heard that variety is the spice of life? I'd be much more likely to check in frequently (sans timers) if I was interested in what was going on whereas now my check ins are something for me to scratch off my to-do list, nothing more than a chore.

I have to agree with others who have stated that this repetitive ?template? has become very boring. The goals have nothing to do with the dialogue. The baron had to give away all of his beloved toys, but yet we make the exact same things to just upgrade the building. Why doesn?t the upgrade include a new craft that is the baron?s favorite toy his mother made him give away?!?? Even the mermaid updates have been on this super repetitive template. I guess now it is starting to get to me. We have had a community event every month for 6 months it seems or more and they are all on this same template. I was excited about the cute graphics but now I am very bored. I will keep plugging along but my enthusiam is declining with each repetitive event S8. There will come a time (and I see it happening soon) where I no longer have the motivation to do these repetitive events. It happened in bakery story and restaurant story for me because I just got so very bored.

As a level 32 I can confirm the "low level" requirements: upgrades 2 and 3 were 1/1/1/4, upgrade 4 wants 2/2/2/4.

The Royal Exchange actually wants 5 Plush Fangbeasts even tho the quest collects just 1.

Don't feel bad about participating in an event you don't really care for, we've all done it out of boredom at times. On the plus side, the final prize for this event is rumored to drop energy. Though with the way things have been lately I'm thinking the Plush Prince+Princess will be less like an Ali and more like a Cupid Troll in terms of energy.

Quick fyi, I am getting an extremely good skunkupine spawn rate from corn! I think the plush and their crazy eyes are cute!... for a different game, not Castle Story. I am only doing this because I want crowns! After the last LB I am still angry. I experienced a poor drop rate, averaging around 1-2 per 6 mine collection. I used to average 1 per 2 mine collection in the past events, so now i understand the frustration of those who complained about the poor drop rate.

I was hoping it wouldn’t happen but it did; I am officially bored with this event. I can’t progress at my own pace because of Ivy, like always. I don’t really have anything to do because of waiting on her collection to roll around at 8pm. I cannot upgrade my building. I’ve made so many ‘little witch’ toy sets, till they are basically all made for all remaining lvls. Gem speeding is my only option to play at the pace I want, and i’m Not willing to do that. Nope not just you, after the WW last night, a volunteering session for cleaning up the local area with a litter picker and doing my calculations for my paperwork for my self employment, my right hand is complaining, and solely blaming the WW.

My Toy chests have a very low drop rate for both the plush thing and skunkupines. Also, Sparkling mines are not dropping either, sometimes it takes 6 or 7 collections.

I've done 2 of the royal exchange but don't really think it's worth it (1 each of the easy to get dolls) and I did not get trade tickets.

By the way also bored and I am not at the point of waiting on just Ivy. I should have Thomas, Ivy and Thurston by tomorrow morning. If Sparkling mines cooperate, I'll have the baron too. But Griselda will take forever because I still need 280 of the plush things so don't want to waste energy on other skunk sources (I've gotten 10 so far 34 to go...)

Same happened with the last event like this as well ... That's why I dropped out last time and is why I am out of this one as well ..... Just have not got the time, patience or endurance to keep tapping the mines for nothing

For those who think it doesn't happen, I've done four or five trades and gleaned two (yes two!) troll dolls. Think I'm going to stop trading now while ahead.

The fact that I know from experience that this code is doable feels quite relaxing. I have a few days away this week which might make a difference, but with the extra trolls I think I'll be OK, though the skunk another spawns are a bit challenging.

Lately, whenever the game resets, it?s taking my energy I had stored while at the same time all the items I had collected from/chopped gets restored as if I never touched them. I had over 100 energy (I had just collected from daily Alicorns) and had chopped and collected from several things and still had over 60 energy left when the game reset. Then my energy was at 0 and the items I had collected/chopped from were restored as if I never touched them. Has anyone else had this happen to them? It?s bad enough losing gems to gem traps, but now I?m losing unused energy to resets? I?m really starting to get sick of this game and its glitches!

Don't really mind it, if it means I can get the prizes again.:o

Off topic, but yes, adventure yields less gems then n the past. I do 50% more adventures then in the past but I get much less gems for it. I have not made any stats, though. Unless I am gem trapped more often then before.

I am sure this is a dissenting opinion but I don?t like WW. I hate the timing of it. After working all week I am exhausted from work and I don?t want to think about having to time something else. I just want to chill. It would be so much better if it were on a Saturday or Sunday. Also, I spent the last year or so building up my energy sources so that I could effectively play these events. And in between I would make faerie elixir ingredients and build up saved energy. I haven?t made a faerie elixir basically since WW started. I think the only time I did was for the monster hunt. And my energy stays up around 1000 all the time. It has sucked all of the challenge out of it for me. So now not only am I bored with the events because they are so repetitive, I am also now bored in between. Guess I am going to start leveling up buildings which I have been resisting just to have something to do. I would rather have varied, well thought out events that occur less often or have a longer time scale to complete that what is going on right now. And I would like a storybook again. I know that they weren?t super popular but they were my favorite after a monster hunt and we never have them anymore. Community events were never high on my list and it seems like we are getting only those and LBs now all the time.

Princess, I have yet to participate in WW. The first part is energy losing and then you have to make sure everything is set for part 2 and 3 and also have no plans for Friday evening.

CE: as predicted, I've got all my Thurston, Ivy and Old Thomas.

I only found 12 stuffed fangbeasts so only did 2 adventures. Both times one each of ivy, Thomas, Thurston maybe 1 baron or Griselda.

I haven't seen a baron in 4 collections (really 8, two mines).

So now I'm going to spend today and tomorrow exclusively getting plush magic and sparkling mines. Then after that my energy will be evenly divided between plush magic and my kingdom.

Here's hoping a few skunkupines materialize (like 31 of them...)

This is why I absolutely detest having to collect from Ivy; something of a personal nature, prevented me from collecting from her at my normal 8am time, now I have messed up her collection schedule and have 3 choices; remainder of the event continue collecting on this off schedule (which requires me staying up way late), I can spend gems to correct issue, or I can miss the night collection and reset collection schedule. As we all know in these types of events with Ivy, they are normally scheduled down to the wire, which is why trades are offered in the hope of getting whatever she drops, (I have done 2 trades, no troll doll). So it is always best never to miss a collection.
It?s ridiculous to me that we keep having these events of using Ivy. But from a money-making standpoint of the company I guess it makes sense.
However I am more than slightly annoyed, and these prizes really aren?t even good

Sorry to hear that your trades aren't coming through for you. I've never understand how wildly drops vary from realm to realm. A little variation you would understand but s8 games take it to the next level for sure.

As for the sales: I'm sure that the next sale bundle will either have Plush Trolls or Little Ruler Gifts as that's been the trend lately. I've found that typically they follow this layout:

- 1st sale of the event offers: energy and the more basic raw materials needed for the event (usually 5 USD)
- 2nd sale usually includes: crafted event materials (this time it will be the gift crates) and a few of the harder to find materials we need (mostly 10 USD)
- Depending on the time of the event, if a third/fourth sale are offered, they are usually bonus packages with limited edition items (think of the Woodland Sanctuary and Cherry Blossom Phoenix) that can only be obtained through purchasing (10-15 USD)

Again, this is just the trend I've noticed with the sales and I could be wildly off the mark this time. However I have been keeping my eye on the sales to see if they adhered to a pattern like the events have lately. More often than not, they do hold true to this format which is nice to know ahead of time that way you can save your money and purchase whichever pack you think offers the most value for your playing.

I had already bought it and tapped a few times. I had totally forgotten about it. I do have an excuse. My uncle called me on Wednesday to say that my aunt had died and then Mom's doctor called to tell me that she may not have much longer. My mind was preoccupied with contacting family and making plans. I was surprised that I had totally lost focus though.

How can I spawn skunkupines? I can't see to get them. Just need 1 more Royal plush to upgrade to Level 2 as I am so far behind.

How can I spawn skunkupines? I can't see to get them. Just need 1 more Royal plush to upgrade to Level 2 as I am so far behind.

For this event, they spawn from the Toy Chests we have to chop to get the Plush Magic along with all the normal places. There's a thread dedicated to monsters and where to spawn them:

I'm gradually collecting what I need as I wait for Ivy's Hut. Already done with Ivy for the day, next one won't be until the morning. I am on my second toy trade but probably won't be doing much more of them. I like to collect enough skunks for the next level before adding one more to do a trade. It feels like less work and more like a bonus, even though it's the same, lol. I should get to level 4 by tomorrow evening, which feels long when you are constantly working at it. All because of Ivy haha :p

Plush skunkupines come from fighting the troll that shows up from collecting from the ponds. Regular skunkupines come from the toy boxes and mostly from collecting wheat and corn

I would put out many more ponds.. I see you have 5. place 10-15 near to each other.. then tap all when you're collecting. before the end of collection you should spawn a thief. repeat when they're ready again for collection.
our kingdoms differ on collection rates, but however no! you shouldn't need to buy all those traps. it's ridiculous.. you have to spawn them!
I spawn usually every 3 to 5 ponds without problems. once in awhile it's a 10. have a look at the set up of my ponds so you see the continuous collection.
in all that we have to spawn.. always better to keep them side by side. maybe it's just my idea, but it works well for me. the more we're requested to spawn, more of the spawning places have to be placed. you may have to upset your kingdom to make them fit, but it's worthwhile the results. you can store everything after and arrange your kingdom back to normal.

I think he'll look okay with some Halloween decos, as a sort of Frankenstein's Monster dragon. I'm going to wait until the event items go on sale later to purchase more chests. The accidental purchases and the one I earned was more than enough 'fun' for now. I would like to have the decos for my inventory but not for 50 gems a piece, I'm way to stingy for that!

Also, how many sources of wool does s8 think we need from one event? Seems like they decided wool was the only item stuffies could drop which I find odd since they've never seemed to care about weird drops before, I'm thinking of the horses that drop dragon scales.

I agree about not really liking the look of the decos but...You know me, love to have everything in my inventory so I was likely to purchase this pet bundle regardless. However, now that I've got a source to drop the dragon decos I no longer feel the need to purchase as many royal chests as I would have initially. I'll still buy some when they're on sale I'm sure, but only a few so I can try to get the plushie king and skunkupine which means this little guy will be worth his price in the long run for me because he's saving me gems.

Anyway, first collection from Toy Thief was 1XP and a Plushie Thurston.

Happy to get a deco but not so happy that it seems to only be a single drop with no coins. After years of playing I've become a bit greedy when it comes to what's on my board. I like my items to have multiple drops but I'll keep the Thief out until I get a nice collection of decos off of him but he'll be put up for a reassessment after that so he'd better try and impress me.

depends on your device but here's a quick summary.
(can't find info on picture posting in the files at the moment)

- take a photo then modify 'cut' your photo then save in album
- in forum open a post/reply to post
- at top line of new post > tap icon tab (frame with tree) > it opens 'insert image'
- choose file
- upload file
- save post

.. you can edit/add titles to your post after
.. each photo has to be saved individually (or it goes in tilt)
.. no more than 5 photos per post

At the rate I'm going I may never get there. Mines and mushrooms not dropping he needed items, chickens are on strike, and skunupines seem to be extinct in my kingdom. Ivy's been reliable, but she's got that 12-hr timer problem

Try just collecting from mushrooms and chickens (mines when ready). Hopefully the drop rate will improve enough. If it does, concentrate on those until you have enough of Ivy and OT dolls.
