What is the trick to breed an iceage? Ive been using winter and magic to no avail. I noticed the time was not in hours what's up with that? Help

Like all breeding in DS there are no tricks, just sheer luck. I honestly can't remember how long it took me to get mine as it was many years ago but I do know I didn't get it on the first try. Just keep going and it will show up eventually. As for the timer, the Ice Age dragon only takes 60 seconds to evolve so that's not a typo.

I wonder if they made it harder to unlock the Ice Age side of the game. I remember one of the people on the forum said that S8 regretted making Ice Age given the plethora of problems and imbalances in the game the last few years. It's possible that they are keen to keep people who haven't gotten involved out of it as best as they can. The easiest way to do that would be to crank up the difficulty in breeding the ice age dragon required to unlock it. No code change required! Back in the day, I remember it being fairly easy to unlock when you got the goal, given they wanted players to go in and spend more money in this new world.

What happened to the arctic isle, mine won?t let me clear area or expand. And why do I only get 4 hr breed times for every combination. Any thoughts.

One of my expand buttons is not working. Try hitting another expand button to see if that works.
You can also go into the market and scroll down to the expand button.

Not sure about the breed time.
