Requests not working

I?m playing Bakery Story 1.8.2 on an iPhone 6s. Most of my neighbors aren?t receiving my requests. It?s difficult to build ovens with daily gifts as some of those don?t register either. Sometimes I accept a gift yet the number of the item doesn?t increase in my gifts tab. I?ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game and rebooted my device and the problems remain. Please help.

What specific gifts are you accepting and not showing up in under your gift tab?

Have you tried force closing your game?
