* Help! I can't see the upgrade button? If you do not see the upgrade button, click somewhere else on the board and then click back on the item. The buttons should return. Force close if still not showing.

* Help! The Blossom Fans drops aren't going into my inventory! There is a counter on the top right of screen and all Blossom Fans drops go there. They do not go into inventory.

* To get the first individual prize, you need to collect 20 Blossom Fans.
* When you reach 20, the next individual prize opens up for you and will show you how many Blossom Fans you will need for the next individual prize.
* Once you reach 63 Blossom Fans, you are eligible for any and all of the prizes that are earned by the community (shown on the second row).
* The total number of Blossom Fans is updated on the counter as soon as they drop, not when they are collected.

* Be mindful that upgrading resets the timer back to 2 hours.

I've only just started and there seems to be a cap of 10 on the Blossom Trees, they act like flowers that we must tend instead of chop. Not sure if it's a glitch or not but mine are ready to be watered literally a second after I finish watering them.

I do not have a "blue task" afaik. I got a blue phoenix spawn from pond (10 hp), which dropped a blue feather, fur and rat tail. I got a blue tassel from my mine. Also, my pink tassel came from a regular chicken. For what that's worth.

After you craft a pink lantern in workshop, it unlocks the ability to craft green. But we will be waiting on Ivy. :-(

So far, this is looking a lot like Queen of the Ember Realm (Nov 2017) where we had to collect stones and make fragments.
In that one, we needed to get ... something ... to level 6, and we needed two of each fragment for the first level (plus some fur=feathers from a monster), then 3, 4, 5 and 8.

Wonder if this one has the same pattern ...

Edit: maybe it's more like Tale of Time, which also had the 2,3,4,5,8 pattern, but was also a community event.

I did all 8 chops on an elm tree and did a quick collect and got 10 green glow worms. I've not gotten to the blue lantern craft but I did get blue tassels from my sparkling mines. Pink chickens bought with coins did drop a pink tassel, not sure about my chocolate dropping ones (5) but they did spawn a lovecupine that did not drop the glow worm. The immediate reset on the blossom tree is a new wrinkle, we've never had something like that before. The drops are random, sometimes just the experience blue star, other times the blue blossom, sap, living wood (15 coins as I'm maxed), or it spawns a skunkupine. Sometimes blossom and sap. Not expecting the immediate reset, I bought 3 blossom trees, not needed but pretty around the dojo. I wasn't expecting a trade in the keep and had just sent one out. Oh, well just have to wait.

Grand blossom tree is a complete waste.
Requires 20 hits, you get 1 blossom and 1-2 wood (3 hits giving me 2 wood). All that and I got only 1 fire. Horrible really, would have rather gotten another chest for a chance of that Phoenix egg.

LiriTanglethorn what is your drop rate from chickens? I have very little energy (no ali's etc) so I haven't been back: I hit two spring chicks got nothing, 2 regular chickens got 1 tassel. I can't afford to keep trying them out, so if you can post I would be grateful.

I was prepared to sit out this event due the disastrous last few. Then I saw the new items. Blue is my favorite color and these items are beautiful. CS has been lacking in blue decor. I just opened up a couple of new plots and can't wait to display them. Filled them with elm trees for now. That's the most annoying thing to me, that the trees are 2x2. I don't care what the drops are personally because they are so pretty. It reminded me of one of the reasons I've been playing this game for years. I have now completed the mermaid storyline so the only thing left for me to do is finish expanding. Drops are not as important to me at the moment.

Well I just wanted to stop by and say that I cracked and bought one of the Blossom Chests and to my unending surprise I actually got the egg!!! What's more is that contrary to the back of the Chest inventory card I got the egg while I had a Blossom Phoenix parked. I think perhaps they just copy/pasted info from a trap and that's why it states the egg will only drop if there are no monsters on your board which was the part that really confused me. My experience was that I parked a Blossom Phoenix so I could collect from the trees without getting skunked every other tree and then I decided to chop the chest, I received 17 Blossom Fans and the Blossom Phoenix Egg.

Both the elm and blossom trees have spawned skunks for me. If you have the lair of beast, there is a pretty good chance of spawning from that as well.

At this point in my game I'm not typically for decorations or items because I like how they look... But I do like how the items in this event brighten things up, so I'm good with them (though may not collect unless I really need to or if I need the space for something I really need).

ETA: Hana is a walker. You'll get the message to check your storage / inventory like the other event with the walker as the prize. Look in your town square if you need to verify she's there.

Whoa, I’m just now upgrading to level 2! I’m amazed you got through it so quickly, congrats.

Only because I'm impatient :rolleyes: mostly that. Plus with my work schedule on top of needing to get work stuff done at home on my days off just encouraged the impatience. Didn't want to miss out, but ready to get back to leisure game play, visiting neighbors, etc.

I originally started playing CS at the end of 2016 / beginning 2017. I played a lot while I was stuck in bed with bad morning sickness until I started getting nauseated just seeing the CS icon. It took me a year before I could stomach it, but I also had a new phone and didn't know that I could get my original game back so started over. So I think it's partially not wanting to miss out after losing things I can't get back.

Yeah, I know it sounds silly, especially for a game. But I'm glad to have gotten through what I wanted and can go back to my other stuff in my game now.

My trees are glitchy. I click on them, XP, but no flower. Resets immediately. Only one of my trees worked. Off to a great start!


It's not a glitch. It' on purpose - drop occasionally.

The occasional drop isn’t the issue Jennerwein is talking about. There IS a glitch that causes the Blossom Trees to reset and display their state as uncollected immediately after you collect from them. Whether or not it is a full reset where you CAN collect from them again or a glitch in the display is uncertain as collecting from these trees that have immediately reset yield either experience-stars only or at times stars with Blossom Flowers or Stars with Blue Glowworms.

To me it seems like a full reset since it IS yielding Blossom Flowers or Blue Glowworms from some trees and not from others just as it should. So the glitch here would be the immediate resetting and therefore not a bad one cause it allows us to collect as much as our action points allow.

10 trees is just a cap limit. if there was no cap.. speaking for myself certainly I would have filled up to max my inventory for deco or whatever use.. even if I didn't need them.. they're really beautiful.

usually amounts posted are always for higher levels.. for lower levels it's always specified, but very few lower level players post their amounts, so info is difficult to complete.

Ivy's Hut collection is an old favorite of S8. it's a bottleneck to slow you down purposly. set your collection time for morning and evenings (like 7am/7pm) and collect them all!!! you'll have enough before event finishes if you do so. it will slow down your upgrading of levels.. but plan ahead and make all the other necessities while you're waiting so you fly through as soon as you've got your green.

my query and surprise is: why do we have to pay gems, in this case for the chest to obtain the egg, in order to have complete event characters?
since now.. everything has either cost CScoins, or you do infinite collections until it drops, or even numerous adventures, or hard work crafting, or manical repeated collections... but there was the possibility of NOT spending gems.
there are players who like the trial of working, planning, calculating, in order to obtain the true satisfaction of finishing events and not spending anything but their own time. now S8 are 'ordering' to spend 50gems for a try to buy an egg?

I know things do change over the years.. and TL turned into S8.. but since it's the same CS game and basic rules must remain. I do buy gems, I do spend for whatever offer makes my kingdom stronger on a permenant basis, I've invested in what was needed for all my secondary energy supplies, I don't gem events and I've always completed ALL events that has been offered in my years of play.

BUT now I have to BUY an EGG? I hope S8 sees and realises this move as a ridiculous and poor new invention, instead of thinking it's offering quality and satisfaction. SURE I'll buy the egg! but I don't agree at all in doing so. actually I'm accostomed to spending my gems where I wish and hope things remain that way.

Yes, it's normal. It has no recharge time - it instantly restores. You should be getting a blue star (xp) each time. Blossoms don't always drop, but you should get one regularly. As little as 2 clucks, or as many as 9 clicks, for me.

my query and surprise is: why do we have to pay gems, in this case for the chest to obtain the egg, in order to have complete event characters?
since now.. everything has either cost CScoins, or you do infinite collections until it drops, or even numerous adventures, or hard work crafting, or manical repeated collections... but there was the possibility of NOT spending gems.
there are players who like the trial of working, planning, calculating, in order to obtain the true satisfaction of finishing events and not spending anything but their own time. now S8 are 'ordering' to spend 50gems for a try to buy an egg?

I know things do change over the years.. and TL turned into S8.. but since it's the same CS game and basic rules must remain. I do buy gems, I do spend for whatever offer makes my kingdom stronger on a permenant basis, I've invested in what was needed for all my secondary energy supplies, I don't gem events and I've always completed ALL events that has been offered in my years of play.

BUT now I have to BUY an EGG? I hope S8 sees and realises this move as a ridiculous and poor new invention, instead of thinking it's offering quality and satisfaction. SURE I'll buy the egg! but I don't agree at all in doing so. actually I'm accostomed to spending my gems where I wish and hope things remain that way.

I always like to have one of everything in my inventory from the events so I bought the chest and the trap right away without thinking. Then after I read the inventory card on the chest I was more than a bit confused, you'll recall. Finally decided to throw caution to the wind and wound up super lucky. All that's great... in theory.

What I think is terrible isn't so much that they want us to spend gems for an event animal (though I don't think that's right either) it's the fact that after spending the 50 gems it's not even guaranteed! That's an awful thing to do to people, making everything totally random like that. If they wanted gems for the animal, then just have it in the market for gems. Don't mislead players that they merely have to chop the chest to get the egg. It's true that things will change in a game over time but isn't it usually for the better?

As for the event itself, I got sidetracked yesterday and didn't have my alarm set for Ivy's so I missed a drop and now I'm probably days behind. But after the last two events I've decided to take this one nice and slow so I suppose it's not a big deal to miss one green tassel. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky again and get one from the adventure to make it up.

Sorry - there is no sitting back. My spreadsheet (I'm such a nerd) has a daily level-up target, which is limited by a daily spend of 300 energy and getting 2 of the Ivy green tassels each day. I collect from my Dojo about seven times a day. I expect to be level 2 later today and get the first prize tomorrow morning. Second prize April 23. Level up to 4 on April 25 and Third prize on April 26. Level up to 5 on April 28, and get final prize on May 1, or May 2 if life gets in the way.
Or my husband might get sick of me playing all the time, and I skip this one for the sake of family peace.

Have you made a pink lantern and a green lantern in your workshop? It should NOT matter, but crafting a blue is not available for the first time until you craft a green.

It has just popped up for me too. Still don't know. Waiting for my buildings to be ready.
But we still have that issue that you really don't want to start your second set of minutes while using your first set. If anyone is up to the third goal, is it the same requirements? Last time it was:

Tend to animals 10
Fight monsters 4

I am finding that the drop ratio is worse if you have two blue blossom trees.... I only bought a second one to keep a more regular tap rate but it seems to be working against me in the energy vs. drops rate.

OK. Just did the first 10 min thing. The next step says the reward is ten mins. I'm pretty sure last weekend my second one was also ten mins, so maybe some people just got lucky.
I harvested eight elm trees and got 21 green worms. I still need 77 green worms, so I need to have 29 trees ready for harvesting next time (that's a lot of space!) That was the best use of time.
I also got 62 blossoms, 1 pink worm, 7 pink tassels and nine blue worms from skunkupines.
I'm pretty happy with my ten minutes work.

Ivy's Hut collection is an old favorite of S8. it's a bottleneck to slow you down purposly. set your collection time for morning and evenings (like 7am/7pm) and collect them all!!! you'll have enough before event finishes if you do so. it will slow down your upgrading of levels.. but plan ahead and make all the other necessities while you're waiting so you fly through as soon as you've got your green.

I'm getting better averages than that, but these things are so variable.
I grew eight trees and chopped (five to grow, eight to chop each), so I used 104 energy and got 21 worms. That's about 5 energy per worm.
I had originally estimated 4 in my table, but that was only based on two trees, so I will update.

If you only have 40 energy and spend 10 on those trees and receive 1 flower, I call that a load of energy on nothing!
you're quite right ;)
try concentrating on one thing.. use your 40energy on those trees.. I think they will yeild much more. drops are usually done in patterns/sequences.. there are dry and fertile periods. using more energy to find needs does help. next round of 40energy you can do something else.. or repeat if necessary.

Blossoming Fires needed for the Adventure/Trade are really really rare. Don't think more than 1 Adventure can be done per day if one doesn't have secondary energy to find them in the Blossom Tree drops. The gem trees I don't count as normal supplies.. as they are bought.

Cleared entire kingdom, cleared 5 elms, 20 chickens, 30 mushrooms, 2 phoenixes, and an untold amount of blossom trees. From my collections it should be evident that I mostly concentrated on blossom trees as elms and everything else can be done while waiting on ivy. Final count netted me 173 blossoms and 21 blossoming fire. Totally worth the effort in my opinion.
Forgot to add 10 skunks while tending the trees. Ate up like 2 mins, but necessary with the spawn rate.

I did a mixture of both approaches.. For my first run I had a bunch of elms prepped (maybe 30-35), all my chickens, and all my mushrooms out. Kept a beast parked and used quick collection to clear all that and the rest of my kingdom. After I cleared my elm forest, I bought as many mushrooms as it would allow (which is apparently 115 lol) and let my chickens recharge for my 2nd run. Used a quick collect to get those out of the way, ****ed my parked monster, then focused the rest of my time (maybe 7 minites?) on the blossom trees/skunks.

Grand totals came to 54 red worms, 17 red tassles, 119 green worms, 15 blue worms, 190 blossoms, and 10 blossom fires!

And what a rush!!! Lol

I chopped quite a few *****s and did get 1 egg. I think I got one probably midway through the many I chopped, but no luck on a second. My guess is a rare drop (and I'm sure it increases the odds of people spending gems for the chests). I was aiming to get a second, but I didn't want to spend any poor gems especially after I found the spa rather crummy. So if you mostly want it for the drops, it may not be worth all the gems for many *****s for a chance. Though I really like the color of it and what it adds to the mix, so I'm not horribly bummed about the drops (though don't really plan on collecting from it majority of the time), but I, personally, don't feel the need to continue trying for another.

That?s a great question, and so far an unanswered one. I decided to err on the side of caution and just wait it out until I?m asked to make them. It doesn?t stop you from collecting the necessary materials and you don?t run the risk of losing out.

So I just finished up my weekend warrior. 1.) I have to force close to make the unlimited energy icon appear (learned that lesson the hard way last weekend) but the counter is ticking from the start of the congratulations screen, so both rounds instead of my full 10mins I only get 9min 28sec. This needs to be fixed ASAP. 2.) I hope this extra energy greatly increases my chances of doing well. I honestly thought I would have walked away with waaaayy more blossoms than I did, cause I was burning through shaking them trees out, and focused just on them 90% of my time and didn’t even walk away with 200. 3.) Not only is Ivy holding me up but the mines are as well. Most collections drop nothing, one at the most.

My story for two UNLIMITED energy.

First, the energy do not showing unlimited, but it refill itself every 2 minutes. I make a decision still playing and quickly run tru any thing I can tap. But there are some accident. FIRST, in the middle my energy refill, that CRAZY BIRD that WE ALL hate coming and stopping my refill an 20ish. HOW PoWERFULL that bird huh!! and then game crashed and force close itself. When I come back, its over and leave me with 37 energy.

I calm down and come back to get my second unlimited energy. I spend 40 energy and wait for it refill but it wont so I force close and open it again. But IT TAKES SOOOO LONG when I open my game it only have 4ish minutes left. This time there are word unlimited in my energy tab. So I quickly chop my elm tress but somehow IT SLOWING down. I dont even understand how is that happen. And I'm not delusional because second after unlimited energy time run off, my game back to normal. I CAN see that by watching animated pet. HOW...? Server overload? Ha ha... funny.

Yeah, apparently instead of getting 2 sets of 10 unlimited energy a few lucky players have received one 10 minute unlimited and one 20 minute. I agree that they really should work out the kinks involved with the Weekend Warrior goals especially as they seem to be something of a regularity...well as much as anything in CS is regular, lol.

Don't get me wrong, I always enjoy thinking up plans to get the most out those free energy minutes but it's a kick in the pants when it keeps resetting or we don't get the full time. Maybe they think since it's free energy we're not expected to complain if something goes wrong? Call me crazy but I think that if they offer something, then that is exactly we should receive, not half of it or anything but what was stated. *shrugs*

I appreciate the suggestion, but I have checked. I actually need it to finish my current goal so once I get one, the PROGRESS banner will flash and the dialogue will appear for the next goal. I am sure one will eventually drop, but right now it is just frustrating. I received one blue tassel yesterday and since then I have collected from each of my mines at least 10 times with no luck. I think that is excessive.

Kept a beast parked and used quick collection to clear all that and the rest of my kingdom. After I cleared my elm forest, I bought as many mushrooms as it would allow (which is apparently 115 lol) and let my chickens recharge for my 2nd run. Used a quick collect to get those out of the way, ****ed my parked monster, then focused the rest of my time (maybe 7 minites?) on the blossom trees/skunks.

Grand totals came to 54 red worms, 17 red tassles, 119 green worms, 15 blue worms, 190 blossoms, and 10 blossom fires!

And what a rush!!! Lol

I see my weekend warrior with a 'finished' sign. so when was it offered? sleeptime is the answer. all S8 has to do is to make this offer for LONGER hours so EVERYONE may participate and not only US players. these players will conclude first.. but leaves the possibility of EU and others to complete it after. it's NOT repeatable.. so why this preference for US residents for a SIMPLE CHANGE OF TIME?

By tapping the 10 trees frantically, then quick collect, then repeat. And I do mean frantically lol. Quick collect made getting the skunks a much faster process too. I think i had some before I started, but im not sure how many. I know it wasnt many b/c i had focused most of my energy on growing the elms the first cpl days

Yep, same here. Get the weekend warrior just before going to bed, with 7 hours to go and no energy left.

I decided to get 20 fans and check the chest, since I think the phoenix is the grand prize (because of how it loooks, not because of the drops). Not bothering with princess Hana/Nana/whatever. After I get the chest I'm done and I will collect and may be level up the dojo, but I'm not going to stress over it.

I'm not going to buy the chests, that seems a lot like gambling. I'm not at all amused by that. I know the bottom line is making money, but I'm not spending money on a chance to get something.

Less than 200 coins per collection and so far I've only seen it drop wood which I've been maxed out on (as there are obviously enough resources for wood. I was hoping it'd at least have something good for a drop that's a little bit more rare to get). No energy :/ considering the difficulty of getting the egg and the cost per chest, not worth it for drops at all.

I agree that an Ali could've been bought at that point with the cost of gems for a small (seemingly very small) chance and it would've been worth something.

It does work with iphone( I have a 7) you scroll down from the top of your iPhone and than back up again. You normally see your notifications there(when you scroll down from the top)

I bought two chests received 7 fans each. My earned chest gave me an egg. I am getting earth wisps and wood. Very pretty, which is why I stuck around. I play for the beauty and storyline. I think this works on both counts. Would buy a bunch of the chests if the egg were a given or even 50/50.

As for the trees, pretty and worked out very well with both the weekend warrior and giving me something to do whenever I can open the game. Nice change of pace not having to time everything out and sit by your machine, excepts for our friend Ivy of course. I am finding the adventure helpful with that and may finish even with limited play. But at least if you get to a level 3 dogo it looks pretty.

Same here. I have about 15 ponds set out and can only spawn one bird, if a dire boar doesn?t spawn first. No blue tassels before bed so I made a green one from my Ivy collection. It is sad that in 26min I will collect from Ivy again and officially have more green lanterns than blue. My morning collections of mines dropped no tassels. So pink ones are all I can make on regular basis.

At least Blossoming Pheonix came to visit and gave me more feathers, so I got to decorate my Blossom Dojo ... looks prettier .. but need more feathers to finish the decoration (upgrade)... 🌸💎💙💎🌸

It would've been nice if they offered a lantern of each color as a prize since not everyone will necessarily want the pink ones.

So far the only other way I've seen to get the Pink/Blue/Green floating lantern decos is in the chests which naturally means they're not guaranteed. I much preferred it when decos were just in the market for purchase. Can we not go back to that s8? Please?

*Do you have neighbors visiting you regularly?
*Are you on Android or iOS?

For a benchmark, I get 1 tassel every round, not associated with mine levels. I feel sad at this contrast. :-(

*I am level 25
*My neighbors visit regularly
*I am on Android

Mine was offered at 7pm UK time, which I think would be 8pm in Italy. Did you not get it then?

The first time they did it, it started around midnight I think, so I was asleep and missed it. The others since then have all been earlier in the evening for me, so I have been able to do them and I was pleased S8 changed them to that time. I agree though it should just be a 24 hour timer for everyone - not just so non-US players can join in too, but also for US players who would rather play later on, especially if they are busy/working in the day. A 24 hour timer would be better for everyone :)

Thanks for the suggestions! I have tried EVERYTHING (delete and reinstall, reboot, removed mines and added them again, relocated mines, tried collecting using a different device, sped up with gems...) I willl see how the day goes and will definitely contact support if this dry spell continues. At this point, my green tassel count is ahead of blue-it might take Ivy a while, but at least she is reliable! Thanks again!

I?m sorry the weekend warrior is offered for such a limited time. I love it and think it adds so much value to the game... it?s fun, I can sit and play for a half hour solid, not setting timers to go off and interrupt life to play - it makes it the recreational fun game it should be.

I?d suggest it was offered for 48 hours, starting Friday afternoon US so that no matter where you are, you can have the opportunity to do it at morning or night, whichever is better for you. It?s still just once per player, and it?s boosted my attitude toward the game significantly. I?m happy to continue on a quest knowing I put a good dent into collecting materials.

Also, love love the immediate collect tree. If you?re going to gamble and not have an automatic drop, this is the way to do it.

as you said.. a 24hr would be better for everyone, so player can 'plan' when they can have free time to concentrate. it's a holiday weekend here.. I quickly collected Ivy's before 8pm and had to close.
reading experiences though.. I wouldn't have had time anyway to prepare kingdom.. only blossom collecting.

I hate to bring up another problem, but has anyone noticed that when you get the blossoming fires, they sometimes disappear? I've had a few not show up toward my exchanges? :confused:

Yes I have .. You see them drop and you go look in inventory and they are not there ,

Agree with this - players are in so many time zones it seems only fair that it is available to all.

The timer shouldn't start in your book until you open up game ,
I was lucky this time when it came in all my work shops were ready to collect , and I always have 10 cottage out
But the only problem I find is you have to force close to kick start your timer and I always lose time ,close to 2 minutes

Where are the Skunkupine? I?ve hardly gotten any from the Blossom Tree! Also, why aren?t I getting Blue Tassels from the Sparkling Mine?
How am I supposed to do this goal, if I?m not getting the items I need?!!!

Is anyone spawning skunkupines?? Ive wasted over half energy collecting wheat and chopping trees to spawn them and nothing. Collected ponds and got a **** hog instead of the phoenix. Lv 7 and lv 2 Mines arent giving me tassels, **** chickens giving 1 pink tassel for every 10 which is ridiculous. This event so far has been a big fat 'D' rating.

I thought I was just seeing things, thanks for confirming I don't need new glasses or a mental health check. I'll make sure to pay extra attention from here on out to try and figure out if it's a regular thing or a random glitch.

Chopping elm trees and collecting from blossom trees spawns skunkupines for me. It?s roughly 30 taps for me before it spawns. Unfortunately yet another time-consuming energy-intensive event with rare random drops...

No, you’re not seeing things. I noticed the game has been lagging since the beast master event and I have experienced multiple rollbacks. If you try to visit community members or neighbours, it takes forever to load and I sometimes just give up.
