I used Level 15 Jungle Dragon(Water/Nature): Nature(S), Nature(S), Nature(C) Won. I’ve used other W/N animals to take down Bastet. I hope this helps you. Good luck!

Thanks for pointing it out. You both are correct.

Just so you know that some of the members who have posted battle elements or opponents list may be on Android platform. They dont have hit strengths so it's inevitable for them to have mistaken some of the elements when they got a critical hit with neutral or weak elements.

Refer to Battle Chart, link in top of Post 1 if you need precise elements according to hit strength. The Battle Chart is for helping our Android folks. :)

Am struggling through this one myself. I played Colloseum for the Tidesdale since I had about a third of the parts already from the first go-around. Now I think all my fighters are exhausted even with one days rest and can't put up a fight in this Tournament >_< At least I've cleared the round 30 requirement for the Storybook. The final line up of level 20 challenges is going to be painstakingly slow...

20 times? I feel your pain.... :( When nothing seems to work with the strong elements, i may repeat them if I have time left. But comes to the worst when I'm desperate, I would use my best critical hit animals to fight, regardless of their hit strength. I really hope you'll get through this round very very soon!

It's not listed on post 1, but Valentine and Spring are also strong against Water/Nature combo. I won round 42 with Heart Hound (Valentine) on one account and with Catnip (Spring) on other

Dont know how often you tried the GU. But it worked for me after a few tries. Best case scenario for me against a water/nature hybrid this tourney was my Grand Unicorn. Good luck.

I finally had time to get to 30 and maybe get the prize and I'm stuck at 28 since Friday night. I, too, am so close. I rarely get through Chapter 10 because of the tournament versus my job versus time. I guess I don't understand the battle rules because I average three tries a round in FS. I think my Dumbledog should be like a Champion Dragon and should have a better than average turnout. I mean, he's Dumbledog! He's the ultimate dueling wizard...and he loses way to often...to level one creatures.

Just passed 42... praying i can make it to the end and hopefully without gems. My low level account has been stuck on 16 for almost the whole tourny, total craziness. I hate getting so close and not getting it..such a bummer.

I always use my Four Leaf Rover (Shamrock/earth) against a Lightning/earth opponent. Both are strong attacks. Don't know if you have one... You can also use Emerald Pony (Birthstone/Nature) also both strong. Good luck

I only completed the tournament on 1 of my 3 accounts. Made it to the mid-40s level on the other two, but honestly I didn't like the prize animal enough to put out a concerted effort this time. I already have multiple Spring/Nature hybrids, so the element combo wasn't a motivator.

And does anyone know what the name "Springbok" comes from? Usually I can work out the pun or reference, but this one eludes me.

I did made a search for it, it's a medium-sized antelope found mainly in southern and southwestern Africa. The first recorded use of the name dates to 1775. The common name "springbok" comes from the Africaan words spring ("jump") and bok ("antelope or goat").

Cool! It was such an odd name, I thought it must be some kind of play on words and was just going over my head. They don't often give the creatures the actual straight animal name.
