Oh, jeez. Have all the animals required to breed minus the Cactus Coney but not enough food. Always something ends up being a hurdle/barrier. Will try to get as far as I can.

Dont know how long you play this game and participate on a SB, but like always you can hatch it before the chapter start. I always did/do, and never had any problems with it. So it will count if you hatch it before.

The only ones I have found that don't count is when it says any earth. All specific creatures it has called for have always counted for me if hatched early.

Your memory is correct. In the early Storybooks, you had to wait to hatch the new animal until the event asked. But for the last 4 or 5, the step has auto-completed if you have already hatched the animal. I actually held my eggs in the nest for several Storybooks even after everyone was saying it would auto-complete because I was afraid it wouldn't count. But it does now. :)

Honestly, your safest bet is just to breed Pandaffodil & Rock Rhino until you get it. Other than that, any Earth/Nature hybrids will work. Just avoid including any other elements so you narrow your possible results to only Earth/Nature. Good luck!

Your very welcome. And like Sakrysta said in the past it couldn't. But for now it can. As long if I/we don't hear anything about that here on the forum, I always hatch it earlier, if I'm able to breed it.....:(
Don't think S8 change it back soon, if they do, we hear about that.

You're not alone, I thought it was just me :( I tried twice for the catus Coney first try 13 hours, second try 20 hours so I skipped it not knowing you had to breed again so another skip :( then the mining bells......four bombs and nothing thankfully I had plenty of bombs, :) hoping to make it to the end without going broke! Good Luck!

Restart your game and/or device and check if you got them. Some devices require a restart of device to get them to appear. Contact Support if they are still missing.
