So many lovely bakeries here!

Here is my latest remodel after an expansion.

As my customers enter my bakery they walk along a stone path through a serene garden with fire pit and lots of flowers. They then make their way into the main area of my bakery, with lots of beautiful rose gold, a majestic unicorn and some cheesecake counters that look good enough to eat ;) Off to the side there is a small urban cinema, with a sofa, theater curtains and big screen TV. Perfect for a romantic date :p

Also, my bakery reflects my personality too. I love the colour pink, I love gardening and I also love watching TV! This is definitely my favourite remodel so far, and I can't wait to expand again so I can add more to my bakery. :love_heart:

I've been playing since 2010 and finally have raked up the courage to share my Bakery. The bakeries are all so beautiful that it's a bit intimidating! My place has undergone some major changes lately but (hopefully) I'm finally happy with it again.

In all my years of playing, I've always used the same floor plan. I would divide my Bakery into equal squares, and decorate each square with matching items and all the squares together matched an overall theme. Lately though, I've been trying to save up for the really expensive expansion and was having trouble keeping my coins up which is a new problem for me. After lots of thinking and forum reading I figured out it was mainly due to the heavy goal purchases and not enough time to recuperate in between the goals. Looked into ways to adjust my coin intake and came across the old threads on layouts and decided it wouldn't hurt anything to try it out. I went with what the thread called "Narrow T" layout and was pleasantly surprised to see that my counters now clear each night and I'm steadily building up for that expansion. Problem was, after all those years of re-decorating the same layout (I redecorate every month) I was frazzled at the concept of decorating this new one but I think I'm happy with the results.

As you can see, I didn't totally lose the habit of dividing up the larger space but maybe I'll outgrow this need in time? Only real worry I have now is whether or not I'll be able decorate for the holidays to my liking within this new layout.

Thanks so much. One of the main reasons I play the s8 games is because I'm a collector at heart. I love collecting all the items and figuring out new ways to display them so it's always nice when someone likes my efforts.

I really like decorating myself, and I always love to visit other creative bakeries and redecorate my own. I have really good designs I'd love to do in my bakery but I am think its not big enough to do them. Wish expansions didn't cost so much. Haha, I want to collect all of the decorations too, but unfortunately as I have only been playing for 1 and a half years most of them are still locked. I really love jewels and diamonds and your bakery is really appealing to me. Thanks for sharing:)

I love your layout and think it looks very autumnal even without a ton of floor decos, perhaps even because of this fact. In genreal, I'm a huge fan of mirrored layouts and employ them in my CS layouts when possible but I've never gotten one to work to my liking in BS or RS but yours gives me inspiration to try again in the future.;)

Well, just when Loretta thought this holiday might be normal, the cooling system went bonkers and made it like Winter indoors. Well, she contacted the high school drama depart for some props from a previous winter play, and notified the local Snowball teams they could have their yearly snowball battles in her bakery. She'd have lots of Eggnog, and Hot Chocolate and cakes to help them stay warm and have lots of energy! Nothing holds Loretta down. Not even indoor snow drifts!

Placing Fun sledding, Santas snow machine, Snowball fight and Winter bowling (all event prices) close together clockwise in a square will give a great winter playland, with lots of children having fun. For best result have snow-white tiles, e.g. Museum marble, underneath to cover seams.

And if you can see it well, I try to match my food for the area, in a way. It add more flare to my bakery, even though is a small detail and will not last long.

Hello, fellow decorators! With all the recent fairy tales and wonderland themed goals, I have decided to go for a storybook theme! Ah.. I'm doing the current goals hence the many ovens and ugly boxes. Sorry about that!

We have yummilicious petit fours and cakes and pastries to satisfy your sweet cravings all freshly made from our Faerie Kitchen daily. Mr Scarecrow will take your orders and have them delivered to your table in no time! Once you've had your bellies filled, come with me and I shall give you a magical tour!

AH! Before I forget! We have a special treat for bookworms! Take your pick of any book genre from our Magic Bookshelf! Give a little whisper to the tiny fox lazing at the bottom on which category you want and voila! You may borrow any books you want and at any amount, but please do return them within the time frame given or Mr Fox will hunt. you. down. You have been warned.

Alrighty then..let's get going!

Oh, look! Mr Rabbit Baker is off to get more ingredients for his Faerie Kitchen team! He's also the mayor of this little town. Isn't he just adorable with that little basket swinging from his arm? (Don't tell him I said that! He despises being called cute, that's why he hasn't been trimming the fur below his chin. I think it just makes him all the more cute instead of fierce. Nope. Not fierce at all.) How will he fit all his shopping in his teensy basket, you ask? Well, Mr Rabbit is a huge fan of Doraemon and he was so amazed by his magic pocket that he practically begged Mr Claus (yes, that Santa Claus) to give him a ride when he made his rounds in Japan so that he could meet Doraemon-san himself!

Anyway, let us take a moment to appreciate the lovely mushroom house that Mr Rabbit designed- oh dear, Succulent Bear is at it again! Eating poor Mrs Rabbit Baker's flowers! They really should reconsider posting a leprechaun as their security guard!

Ah wells. Moving on. Ooh, do you hear what I hear?? It's the Great Mother Duck with her little troop of talented musicians and singers! They go from town to town making a living by playing live music. They believe that music connects people no matter who they are, where they're from and whatever language they speak in. They have such big hearts, I hope that everyone will know of them one day. /wipes tear

Ahem. Let's take a stroll at the Everlasting Fountain park, shall we? It is said that drinking from the fountain will grant you immortality, but only if you have a pure heart. Many have attempted but.. let's just say that they were not so fortunate. So is it really a blessing or a curse? Hmm..

Last but not least, we have arrived at the Mad Hatter Tea Party! You are most welcome to join in, only if you can stand to repeat your answer to the Mad Hatter who will ask you endlessly, "Why a raven is like a writing desk?" because.. he's mad, of course! Just don't go mad yourself!

Going down the rabbit hole... and it's Alice! Faced with the decision of which treats to eat, which will she choose?
Admittedly, this section's reference is a bit more obscure - after Alice's tears create a flood, she and other characters wash ashore and have to run laps to dry off (with the athletic tables). The pearly counters were put in as a nod to the Walrus and the Carpenter tale, but more significant: we get a first glimpse of the elusive white rabbit!

A long, pointless post. But an interesting one - all the same, if you care to read.

Here is my current design for kappy333, I vamped- (pun intended) -it up because before it appeared to be too crowded, and look a bit messy. (It still does, however just a bit less) it had few to almost no tables before, and literally only 1 neighbour at a time was able to tip me, without me needing to clear it up again. - and even though I still appear to have little tables, however I'm glad I don't have to clear it/ my wife to clear it - every time just when 1 person visits & tips me.

Use to have only 6 tables, now I have 18 tables. Enough for 3 neighbours to tip at a time without needing to clear, luckily!

- Pointless add ons, of what I think -

It's my favourite bakery (at the moment) that I own. Probably because it's a small-ish bakery, compared to my other bigger ones. And less crowded (now) in comparison to them. However It does seem ironic that the smallest bakery that is currently in use, is the less crowded of them all. It was actually my wife that suggested I added more tables, but then she's usually the one cleaning them anyway, since I work.

But My goal for this bakery in particular: (In the future) is to have more Halloween items, and more space (expansions) to display them in. And with more tables, and chairs, to make it more of a functional bakery.

My tips for a bakery, if you think my bakery looks decent enough, to take said "tips"


- My tips are: regardless of how full your bakery may look, a great colour scheme, weather that be in flooring, or wallpaper, can help make it seem to look less crowded, or make it look even better, even if it isn't particularly crowded, if that makes sense. - As on my kappy bakery, (though to be fair, it literally looks like I let my 2, almost 3 year old decorate it for me) is how I really don't want to take out a decoration, so for something that I don't want to take out, I'll enhance with some sort of colour tile. And it makes much more a difference to me.

Another tip(s) trying to match your table colour, to a decoration colour(s). Even if it isn't intended for the specific season or holiday you're trying to use it for.

One Specific point with this, is that fact I actually wasn't using my "Ice Fishing" (the polar bear and penguin) but until I seen the Sugar Blue tables, and I instantly thought of "it looks like ice" so I decided to add both into my design.

So if you have maybe an item you want to use, but really have no thought of how to use it, or how to pair it with an item, if next to nothing, always look through the table tab. That's how and why I have the Ice Fishing in my design. Otherwise, it definitely would still be in storage.

But here is my bakery, not the most impressive, but it's definitely a work of a bakery I'm most proud with, and don't feel embarrassed to openly share online.

I've definitely gotten far more compliments on this bakery (and on this bakery), any of the lot of have yet to be a "backhanded" compliment (though that doesn't mean its not possible still) whereas on my kappy bakery, I've got a backhanded one. It didn't hurt, but it definitely made me know that no one particularly liked it besides myself. But luckily I am trying to please no one but myself, but it still does feel nice to also have others to appreciate or even find some sort of beauty within it.

I have started my flower shop market some time ago.

It's clearly not finished yet, but I like what I have and how I've displayed it.


I've been playing some monopoly bingo, and a few other games to gather up some gems until I buy more. I've added gem tiles here and there, I like it though!

I also think I've found a newfound enjoyment in another game by earning gems, monopoly bingo. I'm now level 26 almost 27 there, it's a fun game! So I'm glad there's quests in regards to earning free gems, especially when not all the time will I want to buy gems.

It's clearly not finished yet, but I like what I have and how I've displayed it.


I've been playing some monopoly bingo, and a few other games to gather up some gems until I buy more. I've added gem tiles here and there, I like it though!

I also think I've found a newfound enjoyment in another game by earning gems, monopoly bingo. I'm now level 26 almost 27 there, it's a fun game! So I'm glad there's quests in regards to earning free gems, especially when not all the time will I want to buy gems.

So, for a while now, I've been challenging myself to design and decorate my bakery to go with whatever 15 day challenge we've been tasked with. Some have been easy to do and some have been very difficult to stick with the theme. Some of them I'm quite proud of so I decided to screen shot them and share them with you guys.

Here is my Meandering Menagerie bakery. There's a nice seating area with nautical sculptures and foods (and a couple of children in sailor outfits helping themselves), and a beach with surfers and folks relaxing in hammocks and on beach loungers. There's even some off-shore fountains that some mermaids and a manatee are frolicking around.

I cannot access into the game anymore because I reached the maximum XP. I cannot continue playing at that bakery so I have to use another bakery outlet to play instead because I love Bakery Story so much. I use back my same design as the previous bakery but change different colours in the year 2022. I reached level 100 on 5 January 2022.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that! I love Bakery Story so much as well, so I can understand what it feels like not being able to access the game anymore! (I had a 2nd account that I loved so much, but unfortunately lost the password forever...).

Its such a shame S8 doesnt let you get to lvl 100 and beyond! I remember playing City story where I saw people reaching level 103 or something :D Same is with the expansions, just dont get it why they dont add them anymore... Lots of questions to S8 ... ?\_(ツ)_/?

Have you reached out to the team in regards to this issue? In the past, when players reached the maximum XP and their games went wonky, the team was able to go in and remove some XP so the account was still usable.
