Town Square General Information


* As you expand your kingdom, you will meet new friends who can become Citizens of the realm.

* TOWN HALL: You can choose which Citizens to display in your kingdom by visiting the Town Hall and checking 'In Kingdom". If you reach the Citizen limit, you may uncheck "In Kingdom" on a Citizen to put a Citizen in the Kingdom into Town Hall. Which Citizens you choose to display will not affect your Kingdom Goals.

* STORE: You can purchase additional Citizens to display in your Kingdom. Characters marked with the Storybook Icon come with additional content such as exclusive quests or items.

* CITIZENS ON QUEST: Sometimes Citizens may leave your board while you're at a particular point in the Story. These Citizens will be marked as "On Quest" in Town Hall and will return as you progress.

Additional information from S8:
* The Town Square is available in versions 2.1+ on both iOS and Android.

* The citizens available for purchase in the Town Square Store do not have a particular event associated with them, but can be purchased with currency won from participating in events.

* The initial limit of Citizens on your board was 20. This was changed on 19 June 2019. The capacity is now 25.

Information about Crowns

Note: To access and accumulate crowns, your app version must be v1.9+. If you access a lower version it will reset your crown progress.

Note: The Town Square must be available in your game (you are playing the latest versions of the app from either the Play and/or App Store) to get crowns.


* How do I see my Crown count?
There is a counter on the Town Square screen which displays how many crowns you have accumulated.

Moderator note 7 June 2021: Android users cannot see the crown count. You can begin the purchase to see your crown count and then cancel the purchase by clicking on the X button top right of screen (or Summon if you want to continue with your purchase)


* Why is the Crown picture greyed out in the Town Square?
This picture means that you have purchased all of the available citizens already and that further citizens will be released in the future.


* How do I get crowns?
Crowns are available when completing goals throughout events. They may show on your goal screen as "+1". This means 1 bundle, not 1 crown. A bundle may contain several hundred crowns.
