Hey Caretakers, our friends at Storm8 has introduced the 3rd in the series of redesigned zodiac type dragons. Introducing Neo Aries. It's an ultra rare dragon that can be bred by breeding black + red. Good luck in breeding this. Here's the description...

Thanks for having my back on this one Kooky. I totally forgot about the goal. FlatFoot, I know you had something to do with this redesign and it's fabulous. Hopefully I'll breed this as I am an Aries and I like this dragon way better than the original. :-)

Neo Aires is an Ultra & with Black type will have a long list of fails so
will need to be ultra lucky to breed.

Good candidates for best returns of time+essense

Parakeet, 5h*3, 40 essense
Landworm, 6h*3 40 essense
Rex, 12h*3 40 essense
Triceratops, 12h*3 40 essense
Quetzel, 32h*3, 100 essense

Easiest to breed is
Dino+Dino with
Rex, Triceratops=12h, 40 essense.
& fails of
10s=Fire, 20s=Forest, 12h=Dino, Pterodactyl which are Rare=10 essense.

Diamond+Forest=32h Quetzel , with
20s fails=Forest.

I don't have Night so I used Emberglow and Neo Meteor and got 13 hr Invisible Dragon. I am evolving my Lotus so I can try again.

I feel a little better knowing someone out there has managed to breed one. All I've gotten is a slew of Athletics and stupid Neo Bubbles.

That is good to hear Fireball! I was starting to worry it was going to be another of those situations where the colors they state don't actually work and another combo was needed.

I really wish they'd discontinue the Neo Bubble already, it seems like each dragon we have to breed has the option for Neo fails and I'm so sick of seeing them. On the upside, seeing a Neo fail is way better than those blasted Penumbras and Titans that take a day to breed and aren't even worth disenchanting.

I've been trying non stop on three accounts using Night and Fire. On one account I lucked out and got it on the first try. The others have given me lots of Neo Bubble fails.

I'm pretty much certain I won't get it (black hybrid AND ultra rare) but still trying with the breeding roost. So far only neo bubbles, one wizard and one athletic.

Got Neo Aries with Ironbark and Playful.. Had a few fails before getting it , but stuck with it and it worked..

Finally. After using a couple of gold for speed breeding and hatching, I got 20 hrs with Night Elf/Fire. This is my first Neo Zodiac dragon as I unsuccessfully bred Neo Aquarius and Neo Pisces.

This is the first time I've actually been able to try for one of the Neo Zodiacs but looks like I've run out of time. I've gotten at least one new dragon out of trying though!

Well, I never managed to breed this one. Or Neptune. Or Polaris.
And I just checked the batch of new and re-released dragons added to the Market today and only 1 of the 10 is breedable.
