Not to sound bitter but S8, can you please fix the issues with the videos - they only speed the arena cool down as often as someone breeding a Valiant Dragon - which is not often. Or let's have an alternate way of being able to cool down the arena by earning it on Bingo.

Just experienced a strange glitch about 1.5 hours ago. Went to the Battle Arena expecting to play round 19 against Chariot L16, but lo and behold, K find that the DS server has rolled me back to round 17 together with my L15 Rainbow Sentinel being put back in the spa! All other aspects of my game appears to be fine as I was planting crops, adding eggs into my nests, etc. So, I fought against Ballet L15 again and took it down with one blow. Then I watched a video to skip the 1 hour waiting time for the Battle Arena to be free again.

Went to the Battle Arena to fight again and find that I'm back in sync at round 19 to fight against Chariot L16. Still had to heal my Rainbow Sentinel though which had already been healed after losing in round 16. Come on, Team Lava, what's happening? Please get these glitches out of the game as it is difficult enough having to battle from round 20 onward without having to repeat rounds!

It is not my internet connection as everything else is working fine. It is some sort of weird syncing issue with your servers. Hope the rest of you will be spared this pain, although I have seen reports in this forum of similar issues.

Very true. The last few tournaments featuring Immortal, I’ve used Passion to defeat it.

This tournament is fairly easy! Usually I have a spa line 10-15 dragons long, but I’ve only got 4 waiting.

This tourney ended up being a lot better than I anticipated, only hang ups were Chariot and Immortal. I had to battle Chariot 11 times, finally taking it down with Water 15: thankfully, Immortal wasn't as bad with only 5 tries and Neo Bat 12 taking it down with one bash. I've long since run out of room for all these Cosmic hybrids but I must admit most all of them are lovely to look at. Good luck everyone still battling!

Happened to me earlier today! He beat my Rose Knight level 15 and Glasswing and Centurion level 12. Took him down with Rose Knight when it finished healing though.

Maybe change up the bash, magic order? I usually try various combos before something works. Also, clear your cache in between rounds. This has helped me a lot the last couple of tournaments.

Edit: my Passion lost 2-3 times before it finally worked. Good luck!

Very disappointed in this battle stuff and red giant. Giant is a bunch of hooey! I bought it using gold cuz I love the big collosal and sky giant dragons. And I can never win battles even using a higher level or rarer dragon. The description said red is big, Well it’s not, even at max level. I want my gold back. I hate this game sometimes.

Hi saw your methodology for this Tourney & im wondering if you or anyone else has some guidance...

What dragons should fight the Diamond hybrids?

A level 36 player with:
No dragons over level 10
No Champs
No diamonds

Has only these dragons:
At Level 10 are: Air Water Fire Forest Metal Clown (SR blue/yellow) Elements R blue/yellow/red) Kite R Pink/yellow) Landworm Madagascar (RU world/blue)

Dragons at level 9: Rainbow R Emerald (R gem/green)
Neo Meteor (R Cosmic/Red) Good Luck (RU black/yellow/green) Fruiful (C green/yellow)

Dragons at lvl 8: Celestial (SR purple/blue) Hippogriff (SR Blue/white) Ruby Sapphire

Dragons at level 7: Czech (SRU world/blue/yellow) Kiss (SRU valentine/red). Life C (green/red). Red Rose (R white/red).
Smitten (RU valentine/Pink). Social SR Blue/Yellow). Vietnamese (RU world/blue/green). Waverider (R blue/green).

Dragons at lvl 6: Enamored (C Valentine/white/blue). Fireflower (SR yellow/red). Nymph (SR yellow/green). Venus (C Cosmic/Yellow).
Blue Moon (SR Blue/White). British (SRU world/stone/green)

Level 4: Macaw (R blue/yellow/red). Lunar Ram (R blue/red) Lorekeeper (R white/green) Corona (uRU Cosmic/Black/white) Dino R.
Night (R black)

It's going to be pretty hard without Diamonds or Champions since in my experience Diamonds are the best to counter other diamonds or diamond hybrids. However I remember my Pink-Purple super rare hybrids being quite strong in the arena. Also, Metal is supposedly quite good against Diamond and diamond hybrids, but I haven't really used it much.

High level super rare or unbreedable white/blue or purple/blue/white
I saw on first page of this post where they used triple combos that include black (black cancels so maybe you high level dragon with the other colors &black?)
Someone took him down with a baby Astro too
My Delver 13 (stone/white/blue) knocked him out
I was going to try my purple/white/Black next If delver lost
Do you have Hippogriff or blue moon?

BTW she got her bingo And the last part needed to craft Uranus!!! Very excited!!

Diamond's magic is considered it's own magic. When I fight a diamond type dragon (that is not Diamond, Achilles, Valiant or Infinity) I look at its second element to pick the dragon that will beat it. When I didn't have diamond dragons I would use a high level water or air against Crusader, a high level fire vs Quetzal, a high level Forest or Light against Dark Angel/Black Diamond and so on. Most of the time that method works.

Not to sound bitter but S8, can you please fix the issues with the videos - they only speed the arena cool down as often as someone breeding a Valiant Dragon - which is not often. Or let's have an alternate way of being able to cool down the arena by earning it on Bingo.

And please S8, when you fix the issue could you pls extend the “cool down” video option to those of us who have NEVER seen such an offer

Mine has actually been pretty glitchy too this tournament. There have definitely been a few times where I didn't get the opponent I was expecting

Apart from the annoying roll-back+roll-forward glitch I experienced, this particular tournament (as reported by others in this forum) was thankfully fairly easy. Ended up sailing through to the end with a final win/loss record of 30/5 whereas my previous won was 30/31!!!

That's why I say never sleep on the common (primary) dragons. They're well worth feeding (and cheap to feed) up to 15.

I think some people on the forum had that happen to them before, and submitting a support ticket fixed it :)

I finished round 30 and got the dragon but now the arena says I'm on round 31 and gives me no opponent so I can't earn any more red stars or stardust until the tournament expires. Can someone please tell me how to submit a ticket for support?

I just realized for the second tourney in a row my level 15 Passion was on vacation again. I hope she got the rest she needed as I will definitely use her in the next tournament. Look out for debuts from Dawntree, Valiant and Neo Aries next time...

Try restarting your game to see if that helps. Also make sure you are playing on the most current version of regular game(not a seasonal version).

I can't remember what level I was when I finished my first tourney but I'm pretty sure I didn't have a Champion or Diamond.

Below are my thoughts but some dragons seem to work for some and not others:

My first thought would be to level up the basic commons (Air, etc).
Next the breedable super-rares and missing elements*.
Landworm was my absolute go-to (and nearly undefeated) dragon when I started tournies.
Czech has been awesome for me.
Celestial needs so much food but a high level dragon with blue-purple is valuable against anything with white.
Clown and Social are both yellow-blue breedable super-rares so I would pick one to continue leveling up.


* ... here's where my ADHD kicks in ... repeat below for 12+ dragons
For Macaw:
There are quite a few unbreedable blue-yellow-red dragons that seem to be good fighters (Aladdin, etc). Yet Macaw is the only breedable dragon. (Elements is blue-green-red, not blue-yellow-red).

So I had to decide the potential benefits & food costs of leveling up a blue-yellow-red breedable rare vs. a blue-yellow breedable super rare.
But I'm still wondering if a third element (if neutral) is helpful or not.

Diamond Hybrids are always Ultra Rare , so you have only 2 forms of wining:
Level 15 dragons (level advantage)
Level 10 dragons SR with color advantage to the non-diamond part of the colors.

In your case, level up Landworm to 15 , is SR , is cheap

You need dragons over level 10 to finish the tournament, in the last 8 dragons (with levels above 15) you have less than 25% chance of win with anything below level 10 even if you have color advantage and SR rarity.

But you need 7 Magic Farms to get that many food, and you need many dragons to get that many silver, so...

1.- Get more dragons (and land, and habitats )
2.- Get more food
3.- Stop feeding commons (for tournament purposes)
4.- Change your repeated Rares for esscence and get a Paladin from the codex
