Not personally thrilled--I love the final prize, which is why I already had one. And the new recipes are weird. Golden bunny? Why wouldn't you make it a white chocolate bunny instead? And I wish the pastel egg looked actually pastel, like it's in a pretty wrapper. Marshmallow sheep is cute, but exactly the same as the cupcake. But at least they were all cute desserts to begin with!

hmmm , not gonna lie the recipe's colour are so weird... they could've recycle the recipe from the egg stove in RS.... disappointing...truly. But I'm happy for those who finally got theirs hands on the candy hatchery. sorry about the negative comment cause I was sooo excited for the Easter goal.

And one questions , the golden bunny looks greenish to me , am I wrong ?

I'm glad that the final prize is the Chick Pen because I didn't get it last year when they released it as a sale, I think it went for about 70+ gems? I also think having animals in a bakery is weird lol but hey, they're pretty cute so what the heck eh.

Haven't seen the recipes yet cuz I'm cooking other stuff but the comments seems to be rather negative so not really looking forward to it.. I'll probably just play to get that Chick Pen.

Those were only listed because I needed the code to make the images big, so I copied the code from an old post and then replaced the old images with the current ones. Sorry, they were only there for a couple minutes!

I already have the chick pen as well. It would have been nice to go go for something that hadn’t been on sale before. That’s the S8 way now though. Even when they do sales, it’s the same sale every time. I’ll do it to open the 3 new recipes.

5-day goals normally do not come with the tables/chairs/counters.. I think you might be mistaking it for the main goal which is normally 15 days so you're not missing out on anything.

It would be nice if they could give us an Easter sale instead, and yes..please sell them for coins!

because they are new.

the only exception were usual candy canes, because they weren't new, just returned for limited time.
(and couple of very-very old yule recpes in basic oven).

We've already had green recipes, and i don't care what profits of these dishes, coz i don't wanna more cook 22hrs, 2 days, 16 hrs recipes during 5/15 days goal. My counters are full, sometimes get empty, but i keep cooking, so i'll be glad to get the final prize

I ask again because I have posted previously requesting that these Flash Goals are more than 5 days.
If the oven had been built from a previous goal, then it is possible to complete these Flash Goals; however, if starting from scratch without any of these parts in reserve ... it is almost impossible to complete. Though I know this as a fact ... I still try.
It should be treated as 1/2 ... and if Standard goals are 15 days ... then these Flash Goals should be at the least ... 7 days.

Please, I hope that you will hear me this time!

I think mostly it depends on ur neighbors helping out to build ovens... My youngest daughter plays bs too, she hasn't build those ovens before, still i think she can make it in 5 days... If u read the info here u can use that to calculate ... But not everyone has so much time...there is a life outside too! Work family etc so i get that some would rather see 7 dyas instead of 5 day goals.

I hope there comes an Easter sale, i lookes forward to that... Guess next 14 day goal is something about springtime... I rather had that as easter goal, new tables- chairs, deco... Etc

I totally agree! I have great neighbors, but that isn’t enough to build the ovens needed to complete all those treats in 5 days. My older bakery can do it because I already had 12 ovens. My 7 year old bakery probably won’t finish. Please, S8, add MORE DAYS or FEWER SERVINGS.

well... you wd need 388 non-stop hours of candy hatchery cooking to do the goal.
which means that theoretically you need minimum 4 hatcheries to get there.

BUT the cooking time is not very handle, so if you plan to sleep during these 5 days,
4 is not enough! i think you should have minimum 5 hatcheries from the beginning.

0:00 = when you wake up / start your gameday.
below numbers work if you have 18 slots and 5 hatcheries when it starts.

if you don't have 5 from the beginning, build more, try to calculate how many wd you need to add.

if you didn't have ANY when it started - i have no idea how can you do it without gems:
you can only build 2 per day (and only if you have perfect neighbors).
build as much as you can, and aim rather to unlock more recipes than to get that chicken volary...

total mastery profit of candy hatchery is abt $1.18mio
($695k for unlocked recipes & $483k for locked ones).
reduce these values by cost of hatcheries you built -
and you will see wht will you get out of this "geschaeft".

imho, the profit worth to build more apps, so the question is only in parts...

This is probably going to get me crucified, but I like that the flash goals are hard. The last step is always a ****er, but if all you want is to unlock all the recipes, you probably can get there without ripping all your hair out in the process. If you want the prize, then you have to put effort into it, which makes it feel more like an accomplishment.

I know lower level players probably can't win, even at level 27, which is unfortunate, but I didn't finish the first goal I ever tried either. I think that's just how it goes--you may not finish the 1st goal you try, maybe not the 2nd, but when you finish the 3rd you're going to feel so good about it!

Level 27: 7 available appliance slots

1st day: collect parts while you make 7 croissants (2h), then 3 croissants and 2 batches of 4 teas (2h), make 2 batches of 6 teas (2h). RESET. Build 4 hatcheries. END STEP 1. Start 4 chocolate bunnies, and go to sleep (8h).

2nd day: Serve bunnies, then make 4 golden bunnies, and repeat (8h). Make strawberry cake in the other 3 ovens while you do all this. then 2 golden & 2 chocolate (8h). RESET. Build 2 more hatcheries. Start 4 chocolate bunnies and 2 marshmallow chicks and wait a few minutes then 1 espresso and go to sleep.

3rd day: Serve last of chocolate bunnies. END STEP 2. then serve the chicks & espresso which hasn't spoiled because you waited a few minutes. Then make 2 batches of 4 chicks and simultaneously 3 batches of 3 espresso (12h). Then 6 marshmallow sheep. RESET. then start the last 4 sheep and 3 chocolate milkshakes and go to sleep.

4th day: serve sheep. END STEP 3. then serve milkshakes. Start making 7 pastel eggs (7h), then 7 chocolate eggs (4h). Then 7 more chocolate eggs. RESET. start 4 more milkshakes & 3 pastel eggs and go to sleep.

5th day: serve all. Simultaneously make 4 more pastel eggs (7h), and the last chocolate egg, and 17 chocolate cakes. Then make the last 7 chocolate cake. FINISHED.

Okay, so you technically can finish at level 27, if you can check your game on time and are in the right time zone and accepted enough ears & eggs before the goal started to make up for no one's neighbors being exactly perfect.

Okay, so you technically can finish at level 27, if you can check your game on time and are in the right time zone and accepted enough ears & eggs before the goal started to make up for no one's neighbors being exactly perfect.
time zone really matters.
as i can see from forum records, the goal started abt 6-7hrs before reset.
if these 6-7hrs fall to your night time, you loose at least 20 parts.

i mean, they released ears&eggs 1 day prior the goal, abt 10hrs prior reset (march 21).

in perfect case, you could collect 20 ears&eggs from gifts
(if you knew beforehand that it will happen & didn't accept any other gifts coming in during 14hrs from previous reset,
and if all other neighbors (over 20) sent you only ears&eggs as soon as they appeared in gift-list)

next day after reset (march 22) while waiting for goals you can collect another 20 things from gifts
(again, in same perfect case as mentioned above)

let's say, it's 2 ovens (we don't know exactly how many ears/eggs will you receive during these 2 days - it cd be 30/10, or 15/25, or other proportions... let's just say, you got 40 gifts which is 2 ovens in our case).

PLUS, when the goal started, you can ask for another 20 parts... (kinda +1 oven)

i understand that most of forum participants are from country of game' origin,
but there is another part of the world (abt 18 more time-zones on top of abt 6 u.s. zones),
and it feels really sad that any other goals before that "great s8 black-out" one year ago -
were counted to any users despite their time-zone...
... and now it's just "here, catch your bone! who sleeps too much - stays hungry".

This is probably going to get me crucified, but I like that the flash goals are hard. The last step is always a ****er, but if all you want is to unlock all the recipes, you probably can get there without ripping all your hair out in the process. If you want the prize, then you have to put effort into it, which makes it feel more like an accomplishment.

I know lower level players probably can't win, even at level 27, which is unfortunate, but I didn't finish the first goal I ever tried either. I think that's just how it goes--you may not finish the 1st goal you try, maybe not the 2nd, but when you finish the 3rd you're going to feel so good about it!

Level 27: 7 available appliance slots

1st day: collect parts while you make 7 croissants (2h), then 3 croissants and 2 batches of 4 teas (2h), make 2 batches of 6 teas (2h). RESET. Build 4 hatcheries. END STEP 1. Start 4 chocolate bunnies, and go to sleep (8h).

2nd day: Serve bunnies, then make 4 golden bunnies, and repeat (8h). Make strawberry cake in the other 3 ovens while you do all this. then 2 golden & 2 chocolate (8h). RESET. Build 2 more hatcheries. Start 4 chocolate bunnies and 2 marshmallow chicks and wait a few minutes then 1 espresso and go to sleep.

3rd day: Serve last of chocolate bunnies. END STEP 2. then serve the chicks & espresso which hasn't spoiled because you waited a few minutes. Then make 2 batches of 4 chicks and simultaneously 3 batches of 3 espresso (12h). Then 6 marshmallow sheep. RESET. then start the last 4 sheep and 3 chocolate milkshakes and go to sleep.

4th day: serve sheep. END STEP 3. then serve milkshakes. Start making 7 pastel eggs (7h), then 7 chocolate (4h). Then 7 more chocolate. RESET. start 4 more milkshakes & 3 pastel eggs and go to sleep.

5th day: serve all. Simultaneously make 4 more pastel eggs (7h), and the last chocolate egg, and 17 chocolate cakes. Then make the last 7 chocolate cake. FINISHED.

Okay, so you technically can finish at level 27, if you can check your game on time and are in the right time zone and accepted enough ears & eggs before the goal started to make up for no one's neighbors being exactly perfect.

For 3rd Day: The Espresso is (4hr) not (12hr). I think you have mistaken as cappuccino (12hr)

I wasn't actually trying to be a drill instructor, I just wanted to figure out if a player technically could complete the goal at level 27. I don't expect any of them could in reality. I certainly couldn't at level 27. I barely can now, given how often I'm too busy to check my game, or just plain get distracted and forget, and that even though I am in the US I'm not in the "perfect" time zone for the game. I just appreciate the challenge.

Bakerling: I didn't! I meant that while you make 2 batches of chicks on 4 of your ovens (6 hrs each batch, for 12 hours all told), you use the other 3 appliance slots you have to make espresso. In the same 12 hours you need to finish the chicks, you can make 3 batches of espressos, since those are 4 hours each.

(Or you could, if you were perfect.)

And on the 4th day, I meant eggs, not milkshakes. That wasn't particularly clear, sorry. I'll go edit.

5 days, is it full 24 hrs on the 1st day? Not totally sure, but I'll say yes, so 120 hrs total.

Goal starts, you're asleep. let's say you wake up an hour after reset. (8 hrs gone from goal)

1st day: Wake up. Request the right number of ears & eggs before you accept your gifts, because you need 20 of each. One slot is taken up by a box. Make 6 croissants (2h), then the other 4 croissants and 2 batches of 2 teas (2h), make 3 batches of 6 teas (3h). By now all your requests are in, so build 2 hatcheries. END STEP 1. Start golden bunnies, make 2 batches of 2 (plus strawberry cake). Then start 2 chocolate bunnies and go to sleep. (8 + 15 h + 1 hr of padding cause nobody's perfect + 8 sleeping = 32)

2nd day: Serve bunnies, request parts, build 1 more hatchery with gifts. Make 3 golden bunnies (4h), then 4 chocolate bunnies (8h) since your requests have come in. Then the rest of the golden bunnies (4h). Then start the other 4 chocolate bunnies & 3 espresso and go to sleep. (32 + 16 + 8 asleep = 56)

3rd day: Serve bunnies. END STEP 2. Serve espresso. Request, build 1 hatchery. Start 5 marshmallow chicks (6h) and then a sheep an hour later after your requests came in. Also cook espresso on the last appliance. Then do 6 more sheep (5h). Then the other 3 sheep plus the rest of the espressos (5h)--one espresso is an hour behind. Start the last 5 chicks and 2 chocolate milkshakes and go to sleep. (56 + 17 + 7 you can sleep when you're dead = 80)

4th day: Serve last chicks. END STEP 3. Then serve milkshakes. Make last hatchery. Start making 7 pastel eggs (7h), then 7 chocolate eggs (4h). Make 1 chocolate egg and all the chocolate cakes (4h). Start 5 milkshakes and 2 pastel eggs and go to sleep an hour early because this is exhausting. (80 + 15 + 9 asleep = 104)

5th day, you have 16 hours left: make 5 pastel eggs (7h), and 7 chocolate eggs (4 hrs) and FINISHED with 5 hours to spare.

yep, this is normal for candy hatchery :) many guys lost them for years coz it's unusual the app have second page in cookbok, most of them (excluding basics) have upto 3recipes.

they were always there and will stay there. no goals for them, i think, coz if they were involved, then we sd have also 4 locked recipes then, and probably designer could not recolor the chicks... )))

I started the goal with only one candy oven and now I have 6 and building a 7th. I even purchased another slot for a total of 20.

I?m on step 3 with 3 days to go. I should be ok (I?m too lazy to calculate the cooking times), but this will be the closest I get to a deadline in a while.

I have to say that all of your help with informing us of the steps ahead of time has made this so much easier for us and has allowed us to prepare recipes in advance and I am so grateful to you guys, THANK YOU!!!!!!

I'm completing items towards the goal but not all our registering as completed. It's happened twice so far. Is anyone else experiencing that? 3 chocolate bunnies and 5 sheep did not register and had to re-make them. Thx!

If you bake stuff in advance like I did with the milkshakes cause it's a longer recipe you need to be really careful not to serve them until the part that requires that recipe has come up. I made that mistake before in another flash goal and slightly panicked because I thought I wasn't going to finish in time lol.

Here?s a statement or two and also a question related to this goal and future goals at the same time. I?m one of those people who is thankful for the rerelease of some of the older Ovens/Stoves & Drink Machines, as well as the rerelease of some of the older Goal Items as I have missed out on many of them!

This is the first Easter goal I have actually been able to work on since I started playing this game over a year ago. The total extent of my Easter decorations are the Easter egg table and chairs, along with a single Easter basket decoration, and an egg decoration that goes on the wall. I have a total of 2 wallpapers (both with Easter eggs on them) and 1 floor tile with eggs. I?m trying to complete this goal so I get the Chick Pen goal decoration so that way I will have at least ONE nice Easter decoration for my bakery as I have no other larger ones.

We did not get a St. Patrick?s Day goal (instead we got a Holi goal which is fine, although I?ve never heard of that particular holiday before), and now we have a 5-day only recycled Candy Hatchery oven goal with recoloured Recipes (Chocolate Bunnies recoloured a very tacky puke/diarrhea green labelled ?Golden Bunnies? with a yellow strawberry on the plate that?s more gold looking than the ?Golden? Bunnies, recoloured Marshmallow Sheep in blue instead of white, and the Chocolate Egg with a yellow bow that is again more gold looking than the Golden Bunnies has also been recoloured purple with a pink bow!) and there are no decorations other than the rereleased Chick Pen for the goal prize.

I?m assuming (maybe wrongly, and yes knowing the adage about assuming something) that we are not going to be getting any 15-day Easter goal at all this year as it?s too late now to do one, and it?s also too late for a April Fool?s Day goal as well.

So, here?s my question: Does this mean that S8 will be skipping by each and every other holiday throughout the year this year, and/or repurposing/recolouring Recipes for future goals and making the 5-day goals as they did this one?

I'm not too happy about this goal. I feel that the ovens are too expensive. One oven is not going to get a person through this goal. I purchased 8 stoves and that's a total of 400,000 coins. That is preposterous! I only decided to do the goal because of the cute chickens. This is not fair for new players. It's almost impossible for new players to complete these goals. However, I love the chickens. :)

have to say, i love the final prize but the recipes are really a let down!

The "golden" bunnies: why not go with a shade of yellow instead of a shade of brown? Make them look like the lindt chocolate bunnies.
The pastel eggs look better cooked then what they look like in the recipe book and the blue sheepish cupcakes are weird...why not do a variation of peeps and change the colors, that approach would have made the most sense to me!

Also, was able to complete this with 9 ovens and a day to spare, so i can imagine it being difficult for those who have under that.....

But again, love the final prize, can't wait to put it up in my bakery...as my easter decorations are bit scarce, i hope we get a 2 week goal on easter!

I may actually finish even though I accidentally started cooking the wrong thing. I have 6 Hatchery Ovens. I need just 7 more of the Chocolate Eggs & 8 Pastel Eggs. So can do 3 of each at a time & the timer which also keeps messing up on mine, says 23 hrs. left. I guess may need to spend a couple of Gems but that doesn't seem bad.

I finished this morning, I had 2 candy hatcheries already and built 7 more. I agree with twospoons, sometimes I like that the flash goals are hard bc it feels like you accomplished something, like with the candy cane maker goal. I personally don't think all goals should be just as easy for a level 30 or so player than it is for a level 99 player. I think the 5 day flash goals should be geared more towards the higher level players and the 15 day goal for everyone.

I really would prefer to buy the single items instead of annoying me again and again!
And reducing the crates before an holiday or event would be nice as well!

Hello,
First, thanks for the short Easter goal. I love the final price but the recipes are not quite compelling. The golden bunny is not golden but green, the pastel eggs are not pastel and the marshmallow sheep is not that different from sheepish sheep. But as said, i?m working hard to get the final price, then I love it to have as decoration. I have 7 ovens and will finish the goal in time but it?ll be pretty close. So it?s pretty much impossible for beginners or players with less neighbors.

Storm8 I just hope, this wasn?t the only goal for Easter. Don?t let Easter pass without a regular goal, we players expect. Please! And a sale would be nice as well, then there isn?t so much of Easter decorations, I would like to have.

I am playing on 3 accounts. I think one of the account can't make it on time. I forgot to wake up in the middle of night.. I will use gems to finished it.. The others 2 accounts still have to rushing for 2 batches of chocolate eggs.. Setting alarm in my phone so l won't forget again.

Gaaaaahh! I'm not going to finish without spending gems. This is a first for me since I started playing this game back in the day. Life happened and I forgot to collect my servings a couple of times and now I'm behind :(
I was being cheap though and only built 3 ovens initially (having only built 2 beforehand). That would've been enough but I had a lot on my plate this week and hardly had time.
D'oh! I've come too far to miss out on the prize. I'll just be bummed if they end up offering the chick pen for a few gems after the goal is over like they did with the last mini goal because I think I might end up spending more gems to speed up my ovens than buying it from the market if they do release it. Decisions, decisions...

FIVE days? I have 6 hrs left to complete??? I had 2 crazy days of work and wasn't able to keep up so I'm out??? NOT COOL. Also I'm far more upset about the principle rather than the actual recipes or the goal prize as I am not crazy about any of them. Seems like the last several goals I am not at all excited about decor and sometimes not even bothering to finish once I have unlocked the recipes. Are there different designers or something? Everything in bakery story used to be so cute. I figured maybe something new just wasn't to my taste but now we're going on something like 6 goals in a row where I don't even want the final prize. This is getting to be an awful lot of work for things I don't even like. May be time to take a big break again. But then I'm always afraid I'll miss something. And I'll throw out there again....as someone who has been playing for years and years- I completely disagree with the "it's not fair to the older players" excuse around not being able to get older goal stuff. Why should I care? I say let all the new players and the people who've missed goals be able to work for them now. "It's not fair" is an incredibly lame excuse and one that as an actual,older player I don't agree with at all.
