If you are fortunate enough to own the Grand Unicorn, I suggest you level it up to adult. I am on round 22, thanks to her! I use an adult Ancient Sloth plant/nature & adult Guinedeer electric. I have only lost to the Hydro Yak & Ocean Owl. GLA. I appreciate the lists also.

Sometimes I post what works for me and maybe they'll help someone but I sometimes find that they can become more confusing than helpful.

Perhaps having different animals plays a role in what works better for one person versus the other. I?ve noticed when I compare tournaments & battlegrounds from the early times versus now when I have more of a selection & more epic animals, that the earlier fighters I chose no longer work against the same animals. This is just a thought.

Strange tournament this one... I've reached level 30 using only Mardi Claw (lightening) and Ancient Sloth (Nature & Earth) with the exception of two battles where I used Crystal Unicorn as I only lost twice so far....

This tournament is being very easy for me, I'm winning almost everything with Crystal Uni or the basic animals. It's surprising since the last tournaments were all so hard.

It makes it so much easier to get through.. ive used almost the same two animals for every battle.. kimono dragon and fall foal..and when the foal fails i have been using the newest valentine hound ( valentine fire elements), valentine seems strong againist traveler.. only on round 23 bc of not having time to be on it as often as i need too but hoping i can fly through to level 30 at least for the SB!

I've been using my grand unicorn (legendary/rainbow) to fight the nature/water hybrids on the tournament but I'm having real trouble beating them with it. Did they change something again or am I missing something? Is it because its unbreedable?

Same! I?ve been using my Cubism Cow and Bell Fairy almost exclusively and it?s worked rather well. I?m currently on round 30. There have been a few battles that took me 3-4 tries to beat but for the most part, this ones not so bad.

No, Legendary is still strong against Water/Nature. I haven't tried Rainbow lately, but no one has reported a change there either.

For this tourney I almost use Grand Unicorn every time I meet a water/nature opponent, and 9 out a 10 i used rainbow against it with good results.
