I just got a pop up saying a new expansion is available!!

Having just bought the final expansion for $60 million and clearing out my neighbors list of those who no longer play, I can't see how much this new one will be. It says you need 55 neighbors. Can someone tell me how many coins I now need to make?

Thanks for letting me know. I was panicking it would be something ridiculous like $70-80million. I've no coins let now so $17 million will take me a while!


P.s I'm looking for new neighbors. I'm level 99 gift everyday and tip most days.

I'm totally doing it. Wait..one side? That stinks...may make me wait it out. I don't have 17 million coins. I don't have even have 300,000 coins right now. I was going to buy gems but one slot at a time...stinks. They think this is RS2 now?!

It appears they messed up with their listed numbers for expansion. The 23x26 is actually 24x26 and the new expansion is 24x27, so you're only able to expand on one side now. They need to make it 25x27 in order to expand both sides.

It definitely isn't worth the price. I'm worried they will do more expansions, charge double and only give one slot. Like the ridiculous way it's done on Restaurant 2.

I previously had the largest expansion available, 23x26. The new 24x27 expansion only adds one side to my bakery (on the left).

Is this on purpose, assuming the 23x26 is Supposed to be 24x26 (which is what it measures as), or should my bakery have been expanded on both the left AND right side which would make it 25x27.

Is this intentional or is there a database/coding issue?

The maximum size was 24x26. I just counted mine twice to make sure. The new one is 24x27. That's why it's only going up on one side. I have no idea if this has been done on purpose or not but 80 gems to go up one row at a time is way overpriced.

If they're only going to expand one side why not choose the side that makes the bakery more symmetrical so it's easier to decorate? Silly S8. I'm a long ways away from the 60 million expansion so the new one won't be an issue for me for a long time but I hope they explain what they're doing here. For only one side, 80 gems is crazy, considering the coin price is much lower than the previous expansions, it should be same reduction for the gem price.

The option to expand has been removed right now .
Try restarting your device. If you 80 gems are not credited back, please send an email to support@teamlava.com so an agent can check your game.

The option to expand has been removed from the tab button. But on the screen the arrows are there and are pointing in both direction. So perhaps they are looking into it and will fix it soon.

Still longggg way to go from the 60m expansion. Sometimes I really wish the crazy prices will revert back to the good old days. It's been a very long while since I last expanded. My rs is fully expanded but not in bs, which I started playing so much earlier than rs. Gonna see how long it will take me, before my patience run out and throw in the white flag. *sigh*

Though it's nice to see they finally took in the suggestion of adding more expansion. Hopefully there will be more coming instead of just one.

Oh do let me know, i saw the arrows, got excited and purchased gems to expand but every time i click on it, nothing happens, i hope the special doesn't expire before they fix it and i'm able to purchase it

New expansions?? YES! It's taken them WAY too long to give us more room! I'm all the way expanded and my bakery is fully decorated and I STILL have to hit the side arrow for floor decorations 144 times before I reach the goal items at the end! I could easily decorate 4 full sized bakeries beautifully without spending a single coin or gem more. I'm so excited that I wanna just do it, but if they're gonna correct it to expanding both sides, I guess I'll have to sit on my hands for now! XD

So...I love that they gave us a new expansion, which i chose not to take advantage of for one reason...would really be happier if they would allow for a SQUARE bakery. When your trying to design-For those of us who are OCD-it is just frustrating when the Bakery/Restaurant looks so uneven. They need to give us a 24x24, 25x25, or 26x26. I've been doing face palms for two years now. Each time you try to do anything other then some boring table lay out, you end up unable to use the top corner because it's off! Ugh! Here is a pic to show what I'm talking about. BLAH!

I literally just cleaned up my neighbours list so now need new neighbours as it sounds like this expansion is worth it. My ID is 3cala if u need a new Neighbour, even temporarily

I've just expanded for 17,500,000 coins. I don't know why but I expected there to be more of a difference lol. I've been able to put a few flowers and deco around my seating area. Plus spaced things out a bit more so I'm well happy. I could still do with expanding another 4 or 5 times more now ;-)

I'm definitely not gonna waste the coins or the gems for just 1 row on both sides. I've been perfectly happy w this size for over a yr and now I just wish that there was a way to get rid of the arrows showing that an expansion is possible.

well, i still have to earn 30+40+60mil to get to this new expansion. contrary to my previous assumption, mastering all recipes do not total to such millions. you really need to bake more than the necessary amounts for mastering.

So I still don't understand the logic behind the prices of the new expansions, it's like storm8 sat down and said, "Let's finally give them the new expansions they want and make them cheaper, but lets keep the last three expansions before that ridiculously expensive." How can you expect me to want to push for the overpriced expansions, when the new ones are so much cheaper. I do appreciate that the new expansions are cheaper, but I wish I could just skip expansions and pay for the new ones.

I really felt compelled to add this to the discussion. Guys, it's really frustrating for some of us, trying to get our bakeries to look se metrical. (Yes I know...OCD) So it would be nice if they would offer us a more square bakery. Thinking they should cut the cost of the expansion, just a smidge, but I really like the idea of a more square bakery, so one side is fine with me...unless it's on the longer side. lol!

Hey rose water!! I actually just posted the same thing to the discussion. I'm of the same mind. Never have been to keen on the rectangular bakery! Us OCDers have a heck of a time with this LOL! I think they needed to give us another row on the short side, so should have been 24x24 OR they could have given us two on the shore side and one on the other. Either way...I'd really prefer a more se metrical bakery as well and there are a few others who agree. *shoulder shrug*

drives me crazy too that the bakery isn't squarish, i'd like to have both sides even out and maybe cut the expansion prices back just a little bit. It's easier to expand in RS than it is in bakery! even though i don't play RS anymore...

Yes there's a 26x28 now. We just got that one last week and it costs 20 million coins or 80 gems.

I am sorry, but you will have to buy the expansions in order. You cannot skip one.

If ppl would just stop buying these overpriced expansions or demand that we not be told how many neighbors we need since we are the ones paying, not them, maybe they will stop this foolishness!

At this rate I already have both a newer, smaller bakery and resto. I refuse to cowtow to those rediculous rules to play a game I am paying for. I will not ever expand anymore. 40 gems is enough and I am not going to be forced to collect friends to move on so once I hit 99 it's going to be the back-up and I will move on to the newer game and start having fun again...and again..and again...lol

All gem expansions have been on sale for 25% off for the last few days. They've always had a normal price of 20 gems but with the sale they were down to 15. There's been a ton of pop ups about it. I have max expansion but still get loads of pop ups.

Tap on the Design button in the lower right corner. Tap on the farthest right tab in that menu (it looks like a 4-square box with 4 arrows). Scroll through to see the cost of each expansion. (You will need to scroll past the crates in the list.)

You will need either coins or gems to expand.
This list is just showing the levels you can expand and the number of neighbors needed.

Man, I've got a ways to go! My next expansion will be to 21X24 and I thought I was nearing the end of size, though some of my neighbors did look much roomier than that! It sometimes makes me wish I had transferred my old bakery to this new phone. I played years ago for 3 years, then stopped when that phone broke and life got busy and picked it up again about a year and a half ago when I got this phone. It was a 4 year or so break so I figured just start over....but sometimes I regret it just a bit....

The largest our bakeries can be at this point in times is 37x39 so it sounds like you've fully expanded which is why the options have disappeared from your Market.
