I think you can only craft one. I’m slaying lovecupones to summon a direlove, I’ll save energy that way. I’m only doing this in hope of getting some crowns( even tho I don’t see any indication of that) or the event progressing to something more interesting. I’ve done every live event for almost two years and if this event is just to get a pink monster and a baby it’s the worst event ever in my opinion. But I’m hopeful! Lol

Wild lovecupines spawn from corn.

Wild Lovebeasts spawn from cows and chickens.

Wild Direlove spawn from rocks. (a regular Dire Boar spawned from cocoa beans)

They may spawn from more, but that's what I've found so far.


I spawned a wild lovecupine from tomatoes, and wild lovebeasts from red peppers

I got a wild Direlove from mushrooms (round ones) just now. Not sure whether it was the red ones or the brown ones though.

Out of 7 cows, I got one lovebeast. Checking my corn in the morning. The building that usually spawn a dire boar, gave me just that, no loveboar to be seen so far.

I crafted a Direlove and a baby lovecupone. I didn’t get any crowns for completing the goals. The options to craft more of all the monsters are still there so you don’t have to choose only one. I am done with this event. Worst event ever. It’s a mess. My pink chicken has always dropped choco eggs since I got it. I got mine from that event last yr where u earned pink(Swan?) Eggs & traded them for pink animals & some deco in the Royal exchange. I think it was last yrs Valentine event? Hope that helps!

The pick boars don't come from the rocks (even though the game directs there) mine spawned from the red mushrooms.

I'm grateful that S8 is continuing updates since for a time we went weeks without any events. After the intensity of the past few weeks of play, even though the babies are cute, I'm not going to try for one. I don't need tons of corn or other crops, and I don't collect much from my current babies since my energy is always going toward the energy-intensive events. I'm sure there are players who loves anything pink, like my daughter does, who will be striving for these little additions.

my game keeps crashing i have logged in twice and as soon as all i get past the message screen it keeps crashing...been crashing more and more lateyly any one else having any crashing problems last couple days?

That is my number one complaint with the game. I found some tips about crashing on the bugs thread. I put all my walkers in town hall storage. I try to minimize things that have yellow arrows above them and store as many as I can. I probably have a hundred animals in storage. I try to never close the game with a parked monster.

There were days when I would try over an hour to get the game to load. These changes really helped. It may help to occasionally do a reboot of your device or something that clears storage. Good luck!

Pink fang beasts are not dropping milk. (10 heart medals, 6 strawberry milk - daily goal met).

Jousting arena did not spawn monster, Monster Lair spawned regular beast, but you probably know that already. Probably all of it. Lol!

I've been getting heart tokens each time and strawberry milk about half the time, which seems to match that we need 36 milk vs 75 tokens to craft something.

One thing I'm miffed about is the Love Shack (not the Sweetheart Shack). Apparently, the LOVE Shack gives really good crafts, but can't be crafted anymore. That means getting 75x3 heart tokens and 36x3 strawberry milks for no other reason than to have 1 of each animal just to have them (& another 6 things to add to my inventory pages) will only prove to be a week of wasted energy and hours of frustration battling normal beasts who drop NO tokens -- so what's the point?

* We *already* have umpteen variations of beasts and umpteen-plus-1 babies! Other than growing our storage cellars, why would we want or need anymore of either of those, ANYway? -- what's the point?

* The Trade Wagon has all of the regular token trades open but this isn't a regular Monster Hunt and regular tokens aren't dropping ANYwhere -- so what's the point?

* "Love is a Battlefield", while being a cute homage to Pat Benatar, only awards coins & XP, not even ONE heart token -- so what's the point?

In the end, I have surmised that the point is to rid us of any saved energy we may have hoarded and to give us busy-work for a week....all for more animals we don't need, babies we don't want and decorations we won't use for another YEAR.

Drop one from my Lovepea was a lover?s gate. Meh. There are only two goods things I have found so far from this event. The animals are pink and I love anything pink as it?s my favorite color. So I will at least have one of each. And all of the cow and chicken collecting is making it easy to do trades to get expansion permits for the new expansions. But that?s about it. IF the drops prove to be awesome from these animals, I may go for two of each. As it stands, I am happy with just one of each and will have that by the end of the day. So then i?ll Just go back to hoarding my energy for the next event in the hopes that it will be decent. Really would have loved a regular monster hunt to go with this. Or at least some crowns to help me get closer to having Maya. Really in poor taste not to have crowns as a reward RIGHT after it?s been introduced. As it stands I won?t be spending any gems or real money on this event. I?ll buy books with my weekly S8 budget instead.

These are great questions. I?m reminded of another game I used to play years ago...it was so incredibly fun!! The same thing happened there, as with this game - - the game content was fun all the way around, excellent story line, decorations, rewards, prices...for the first 2 or 3 years. After the game gained popularity, the storyline changed and the decor and reward system gradually went downhill. Many players desired to have everything back the way it was, so they voiced their concerns. The game eventually shut down a couple years later. Sad to say, nothing improved, just gradually became worse. I?m not saying that will happen here, but it sure seems to be following that familiar pattern. I really like this game, it has so much potential.

S8, please keep it going strong. Games like this are hard to come by. No need to fix or change something that works beautifully.

Lovepea only dropped valentine deco for me so far.

What is even more lackluster, the pink token animals (at least the boar) seem to only drop milk, but not tokens unlike previous token animals. This means if you want all 3 you get no additional help but have to get them by grinding over and over alone. In general, the pink boar has dropped nothing of note yet.

So in the end... I may get a few simply because there is little else to do atm. But not because I want, them, or care for them, or hey are any use at all. They will remain bagged after this event because looking at all the pink ugliness makes me want to throw up.

P.S. as mentioned before, that horrible valentines day is over btw. You want to extend a holiday? Pick a good one at least, like Halloween <.< thanks.

I, like many, was so excited when I thought we were getting a Monster Hunt and mightily disappointed when I figured out we weren't. Don't get me wrong, the animals are cute and all but I feel like we've had a huge influx of pets and babies lately. Perhaps we could move on to something else next event/update? It'd be great to get back to the main story but that goes without saying by this point.

I'm sure I'll craft a few animals since I have nothing else to do and I'll most likely go for the Direloves since they seem to be energy neutral with descent drops much like their Onyx counterparts that I so love. I'm really hoping that the deco drops are on par with the Halloween babies and will offer us a variety of nice things. At least that way it'll feel like the effort to get them wasn't a total waste of energy.

I have occasionally received two heart tokens from fighting a lovebeast and from fighting the pink boar. Not regularly but occasionally you get more than one.

For those playing, since it doesn’t matter which animals you get the bottle/token from, you can choose where to place it, unless I’m missing something it makes sense to consistently plant corn/tomatoto while you are playing as it’s quickest return and least chops to save energy and use less per ****. And either do the same and leave it over night or if you don’t mind some more energy plant the peppers in the evening to be ready when you wake.

Hope this makes sense Ana helps! For those who don’t like wasting items, I am using some energy on water at hatcheries and my kitchens makes the salad for mermaid and pasta for tomorrow and grits for corn. If you are not wasting you can also get some pigs, chance of tokens and bacon for grits.

So for me. Since I don’t like wasting, 90% is corn/tomatoes the rest is other items to help me cook and also planting some wheat to make more flower.

I got lucky being sick last event though. I managed to finish with 3-4 days and just energy collected starting this even with 613, first day didn’t get as much done as I hoped and I had a generous daily along with a weekly and the schools so I started around 720. I was like, I’m going the wrong way!!!!! Lol so have to get rid of my energy in time! Down to 530, goal is 400 tonight. I’m free all day tomorrow as well. I have a second timed event game, thankfully it’s a repeat so not putting much energy in, and another one that needs about 30 min a day. Everything else is on hold. I think I play too many games lol

Fastes way to get the animals is to plant corn, and corn, and corn, and chop and slash. Over and over again. I have over 1600 energy (lots of Ali's, but no way I'm spending them on there horrible prizes. Because that's what they are. Useless.

Guess I'll check in now and then, but I won't be playing much anymore. Have been playing since right after the Love Shack (still sorry I missed out on that one), but I guess I'm done now.

Lovepea only dropped valentine deco for me so far.

What is even more lackluster, the pink token animals (at least the boar) seem to only drop milk, but not tokens unlike previous token animals. This means if you want all 3 you get no additional help but have to get them by grinding over and over alone. In general, the pink boar has dropped nothing of note yet.

So in the end... I may get a few simply because there is little else to do atm. But not because I want, them, or care for them, or hey are any use at all. They will remain bagged after this event because looking at all the pink ugliness makes me want to throw up.

P.S. as mentioned before, that horrible valentines day is over btw. You want to extend a holiday? Pick a good one at least, like Halloween <.< thanks.

Or maybe make something or the less conventional ones like Beltane. Witches and bonfires rock, pink babies suck.

It seems like S8 missed the mark on this one. I am fine with having a "light and easy" event once in a while -- a short event that may have pretty weak prizes, not have much of a story or new graphics, and not require me to check in constantly and use massive quantities of energy.

The problem is ... the low spawn rate is not consistent with something "light and easy." I've collected from my 7 royal cows and 3 black cows all at once to no avail. My patch of 5 red mushrooms can need a 3rd round of collecting before there is a spawn. I've done 10 straight chops on a rock outcropping - nothing! I started harvesting a batch of 15 red peppers -- no luck till number 13. I'll frequently plant and harvest small batches of corn - maybe 6 or 7 at a time - and pick them all without a spawn. Similar with the chickens.

In my opinion, we should be able to consistently spawn event monsters within 4 tries, especially when the prizes aren't very compelling.

I think a better spawn rate would helped keep players interested.

The daily repeat goal is a waste of time. 8 hours starts just before I go to bed. People do play in different parts of the world other than the states. S8 should remember this before putting such a short time on side events.

how many corn did you plant at one time?

To minimise the waiting time, I was planting new corn, when I've cleared some portion of my field (usually 20 plots out of 60), so I was almost constantly planting and harvesting. It made it quite difficult to keep track of how many I've harvested in total, but assuming I didn't lost count somewhere, the first time it was about 360 crops and the second time something between 240 and 300 (four full fields and some portion of the fifth, but I don't remember how many exactly) :)

I know it is not a very popular event, but I for one am really happy that storm 8 did this and want to thank them. I played on a previous phone that had the love Shack. When that phone died I lost my account. My new game doesn’t have the love shack so I was never able to replace the pink walls and gates in my new kingdom, which made me kinda sad. Then they released one pink tower in the Barons tent which I thought was stupid because even with my saved cabbages there is no way I was going to come close to replacing all my walls that way. I’m a level 50 so the deco in my kingdom is really more important than the drops at this point. I went on during the last event and begged them to make more walls and paths available and possibly provide new ones. I know I wasn’t the only one who posted similar requests. Storm 8 listened and now I have 3 babies that give me the option of changing my look up now and then. I hope they do the same in the future with other walls and paths with different themes (although please no babies). I love the ability to collect more of something, there is nothing more frustrating than trying to expand and find you need 5 more wall or path sections that are no longer available. I know it’s after v-day but I like the look of pink walls with my purple buildings more than the blue. Thanks for listening storm 8, if you do anything could we have red or black deco next?

If you were doing a quick collect from your babies, you may not have noticed that all the babies *don't* drop all of the decorations you listed earlier. Now that I have all 3 of the Valentine babies, they each drop the specific grouping of decorations I originally assumed they might drop from your list.
This info might help those players who can only get 1 baby before the event ends today or are interested in buying any of them from the market:

Direlove Piglet drops = Sweetheart Path, Sweetheart's Fence, Sweetheart's Pillar, Sweetheart's Gate
Lovebeast Pup drops = Wedding Path, Wedding Wall, Wedding Tower, Wedding Arch

I've managed to craft one of each animal and while I normally try to go for two of each, I just don't feel the compulsion this time around. I do have all of the deco being offered by the babies but I'm never going to turn down 'free' decos so I'm happy with the results as a whole. I have grand dreams of one day having enough room to utilize all my seasonal deco so I love the ability to hoard them until that time comes.

That being said, I still hope we can put a hold on the babies for a few months. Please, S8; absence makes the heart grow fonder, yeah?

I just collected from my babies and to my surprise my Direlove Piglet dropped a Heart Topiary. I swear, I'm not mistaken...promise. I'm hopeful that this means there is the possibility for more decos from the babies other than the common paths, walls, towers and gates.

I liked this event very much because I haven’t had much time for playing but I could easily manage to get one baby and one pet. Thank you S8 for still letting me win something. In other events I would had to give up. :) 3 thumbs from me.

I would like to thank S8 for providing a week long task/goal that was optional (I know all events are optional but this one had rewards that you knew most of the drops and the drops weren't advantageous for those able to complete it). I commend S8 for providing a side goal while allowing those that needed a break from constant game babysitting to not be penalized for sitt8ng this one out.

Now, how about an event that can be accomplished without the 24/7 attention? The final reward of a leprechaun shack (mimicking the love shack) would be awesome.
