A Hauntingly Good Look

I have had this goal on my list for some time. Is there any benefit to completing it? I?d have to sell my Kings Keep and replace it with this dark one? Is my Kings Keep in storage then or gone forever? There doesn?t seem to be a valuable reward other than a change in kingdom appearance and a seasonal(Halloween) look. Anyone complete this goal? Thoughts please.

I stopped participating in this event because I wasn’t interested in having any gothic buildings, but from what I’ve read, it appears that the only way to get rid of the goal is to switch to the gothic castle/keep and then switch back. Check out the link above for more info on exactly what is involved.

This thread (below) is also a good place to post questions and find answers about goals players may be stuck on. It will require some reading, since it has gotten pretty long, but it may have some info about the gothic goals as well.
