I remember chocolate maker use to only have one receipt 8hr dish, I use to get that when I was very new to this game... they might add or change as I am off & on in this game as well :p

sadly this game ANY goals you will lose $$ or dun have enough profit unlike the basic stoves/grill/oven

nothing can beat the basic because the basic provide the craziest amount of dish, so in terms of gems mastery they are the one to get.

Basic grill 6hr steak
Basic stove 3hr biscuit
Basic oven 2day dish

either you want to flood your restaurant with 18x with those I mention, nothing come close to either you

1)you earn the most profit out of the dish
2)you will never run out of food even you come back for a week :)

but it get boring quick so the choice again is entirely up to the player :)

Yep. Still 10,000 coins and comes with more than 1 recipe, now. lol And yes, I really reallly like the fact that it uses basic parts. I could build 3 straightaway from my stockpile.

If my hunch is correct, there is only 1 Kissing Swans that I know of lol.
It was re-released as an individual item on V-Day sale last year. I think it was an LTO. I believe it costed about 23 gems?
There's no price tag in my market tab, I got it from searching past threads.

They are trying to cater to newer players because I think maybe they feel they are “fresh meat.” But the older more seasoned players have a lot vested in the game and are their “regulars.” We are just itching to spend money on some great stuff! But I guess they’d rather save themselves the trouble. I’d drop a couple of C notes or better for some of the REAL OLD stuff and some really great new stuff. Haven’t been spending money cuz nothing is fresh...they are losing profit like that. BUT...on a good note...the new goal in BS yeilded some really pretty tables and last goal wasn’t half bad. ;)

I wish that we could go ahead and start on the part 3. The Cordial Hearts are still locked. I know they take 8hrs to cook, so could start and wait a couple of minutes to serve after serving the last of the stuff for part 2.

A plan for part 4:

Make 10 Chocolate Hearts + 10 Be Mine Hearts = 20 Heart recipes at 8 hours each.

20 recipes
—————- = 5X. This means with 4 stoves it takes 5 X 8 hours or 40 hours to cook 20 Heart recipes. . .almost 2 days.

Yeah, there's a real time crunch with Step #4. 20 servings of 8-hour recipes is a lot. I really don't want to buy more chocolate makers, I didn't even want to build a third one. I'm going to try and get through this with just 3 appliances because I actually want the final prize.

Time Management by cooking early:

Cook for 2 Parts at the same time. To avoid repeat cooking, remember to serve food in “part” order.

For example:
Make Part 3 Valentine Cupcakes early to free basic appliance.
As last Hearts are cooking for Part 3, start Part four 22 hour recipes.
Serve Part 3 recipes first so Part 4 pops up. If this serving order is missed, the Part 4 recipes will have to be cooked again.

I expect this is more important to someone with less than max number of appliances.

New recipes are available to cook for gems and coins.
Hopefully there is satisfaction for completing a task. It,s a milestone in the game event.
Hopefully it was an enjoyable activity to play the game.

A person could stop here and skip Part 4. Finishing Part 3 is possible.

Part 4 unlocks the prize decor. A person could decide to push on to win the decor prize. . .or not.

I think , for me, it,s worth playing to unlock all recipes. And I just might win the decor. Or ah, it’s still a work in progress.

I have a friend who wants to unlock all the recipes. She will not use gems to buy real life sleep time. Nor does she want to set an alarm 24/7 to drag out of bed to serve food for a game. With her Stove number, there is not enough time to finish Part 4 because cooking enough 22 hour recipes will require 44 hours — short of gem spending and watching ads.

For anyone not doing this event, consider working enough to finish Part 3. Unlock all recipes.

I think the biggest issue people are facing is the chocolate maker recipes which are 8 hours. It's easy enough to complete the other stuff, but you cannot cook hearts recipes for Part 4 if you're cooking for Part 3. It won't matter if one cooks the artichoke hearts and fondue in advance if you're still waiting on like 10 hearts with 3 makers.

To clarify, if one has 4 cordial hearts left to cook in order to complete Part 3, it doesn't make sense to start cooking chocolate hearts in advance for Part 4 as both recipes are the same duration. One should just use all of their makers to finish the cordial hearts.

I don't mind the short term goals; I just wish they were more realistic to complete. I mean, really. RS lists only two of these ovens so one would almost assume that that's all one needs to complete these goals. Nope. As one gets further into the goals, one realizes they need more ovens to complete this thing. Heck, I had four ovens and I'm building more. These older appliances need a lot more parts than the ones that needed oven elements all the time (I'm really beginning to miss those days!).

I don't know why I'm even building them since I'm usually satisfied with just unlocking all the recipes. I really don't care about the final prize. That's my attitude with any of these goals ... and yet, that impulse to finish the goal gnaws at me ...

Catering events are a RS2 phenomenon, these are the original RS threads.

I agree that step 4 is ridiculous, last time there was a 5-day goal I wanted the prize for I ended up building 8 machines I think. (I already have a kissing swan pond, and am not particularly fond of it, so not an issue this time.) But I guess if you do finish (without gem skipping through), you can be extra proud for having won it!

kissing swan goal prize is 4x4 d?cor it cost 30gems which is huge in the early days & still one of the top d?cor for valentine day theme if anyone wants one :) now you can have a chance to own it for free if you attempt this 5day goal instead of a 15day goal

Chocolate maker only cost $10K to build it use basic parts so if anyone is a parts player can easily have 3 at least build without waiting for reset... I have a lvl20 neighbor currently has 6x in his restaurant yes you heard me LVL20 ... he cannot even complete 15day goal because of the high price & insane new parts which is not needed for a long time.

the lazy part is 8hr dish looks almost the same... now they dun even bother to change the plate color :( at least with the 3 new dish it yields another 6xgem when mastery :)

The no of appliances needed for this goal is really misleading. I bought 3 appliances and I don't think I will be able to finish. I'm not too bummed out about it since I already have the prize, but it is rather unfair to other players who play the game as it is (i.e. buying only 2 chocolate makers) and don't read the forums.

And once again, the yields from these recipes are really absurd. 8 hours recipes for servings less than 500. /rollseyes

i had only checked on this thread once when it is only up to part 2.
seeing this seems to be recycle goal (old appliances) , i haven't paid much attention. i originally had 2 , and did not occur to me to build more (wasn't expecting part 4 to be so hard, ) , i only had two from previous goal.

as i woke up today, thinking part 3 would be the end and i would have enough time to complete part 3 . only to find out this morning for me there is still a part 4 with impossible goal (cook 20 x 8 hour receipes) , with 16 hours left.
guess i would have to give up

This was the hardest yet. I have five chocolate makers and I won?t finish unless I get up at 2 a.m. I guess they really want us to use gems.

I finished the goal within hours of the deadline. I ended up having to build 5 appliances which... alright, I'd rather spend coins and parts that I can re-stock than gems. I do think that I may have gotten through with 4 chocolate makers or even 3 had I anticipated the ridiculous amount of chocolate hearts to be cooked earlier.

It did occur to me that we'd likely have to cook the first recipe on the appliance that we'd have to build (just didn't expect so many!). So even without knowing Step 2 at the time, I could have started cooking chocolate hearts during Step 1 which would have put me ahead. I'll try that for the next goal but Step 4 was still a nightmare.

Really frustrating to not make goal. What’s the point?!?! I work 12 hour shifts, have other responsibilties with family that are time consuming, and just quite frankly am thoroughly disgusted. Now I know why lots of neighbors don’t do the goals. I probably will not either after this. Long recipes, long wait times, and too many required finished dishes adds up to : FORGET IT!

Unrealistic to reach goals lately‼️ Storm 8 please think of the people who fund your paychecks‼️ I tried to meet the last goal but didn?t get my prize even though I built 6 ovens‼️ Please have mercy on us‼️ The goal came out on Thursday on Bakery Story & then another goal came out on Saturday on Restaurant Story. The goal is now overon RS, but the one on BS is still going. Not very balanced‼️ It should be reasonable for people to reach the goals, but obviously this isn?t happening, please change this‼️
