I would've been mad at the requesting 9 parts right off the bat again, but seeing as I've managed to finish all the goals with days to spare, I can't be too upset. I just want to start building the ovens already!

After attaching a photo to your post(turns out to be a thumbnail, you can do the following to enlarge the photo.


All you have to do is to switch the editor to 'WYSIWYG' mode (done by clicking on the upper left A/A button, then clicking (or double clicking on your image, and in the pop-up setting the proper size). The 'small' option is the default one, resulting in the thumbnails, the 'medium' one results in somewhat bigger images, the 'full' one results in (too) big images but the 'full size' options seems to be what I was looking for, as it fills the image out nicely to match the width of the content column of the forum.

I'm actually liking the goal so far..the recipes are adorable. Wallpaper and the heart tiles are pretty. Even the table is pretty. Not the chair..agree that they could do a better design with the chairs. Can't wait to see the prizes.

Because I own 3 companies and Bakery Story is the only thing I have that keeps my mind in a good place during the day. So I’m willing to spend a little cash in order to get the goals done faster. At any given moment I could become unavailable to play for a day or more which would put me behind in the time frame. I hate working days and days on a mission just to not complete it anyways. So I like to get a step ahead Incase I lose a day dealing with the real world.

She probably had parts needed besides the Sweetheart part but that's my thought. I don't send out requests before a Goal may start. Oh and I clear out my gifts prior to the goal starting so you can easily get parts that way too.

Yes, that was the issue when I started a thread and added my own attachments. You can have the option of keeping your own screenshots then click "Reply with quote" from the other player's post and copy their image links to your first post. But you're also only allowed 5 attachments.

-Or- (and I feel this is the better option) You'll have to go to Advanced, delete your own attachments first and then copy the images links from other players' posts right from the start. Just a reminder.. you're also only allowed 50 images per post.

Regarding this copying others' images, I have yet to figure out how to make their images larger. I tried the A/A thing and double clicking but it didn't work for me. Unless they could enlarge it themselves or a mod steps in to help, I can't help here :( sorry.

Only if you do either of the above then it'll allow you to save. Hope this helps?

If you're asking specifically with the intention of updating your first post, here's how some people have done it in the past:
-Have a Post 1 where you want to store all goal-related images
-Make additional posts as you need them (usually for additional steps), with their own attachments
-Quote Post 2, and edit Post 1 to include Post 2's quote. Because Post 2 is "hosting" the additional attachments, you should be able to quote them on Post 1 with no problem.

As usual I have FANTASTIC neighbors! I was sick all night and slept from noon till 6 pm. I woke up to a new goal and 18 gifted Sweetheart Knobs. I already had the other parts. I had anticipated (hoped for) a Valentine's goal so I had held off gifting. Glad I did. I was immediately able to gift back Sweetheart Knobs to my wonderful neighbors. Thanks guys!

Not always so. I?m with darzcarbz. I?ve got neighbors that tell me they haven?t received requests from me, even after I just sent while were talking. I never send out more then I need, so it doesn?t have anything to do with that. And here?s something else that I?ve brought to Storms attention before and they declined to help on...

There are days I don?t get all 20 of my gifts if I have to decline a gift or two which has caused me to become quite ticked if someone sends a gift I have to decline. There has also been days that for no reason at all, I woke up to find I couldn?t receive more then 18 or 19 gifts!! And some others have complained of this too. Had neighbors quit because they said they were tired of feeling baited!! Don?t blame them...but feel you catch more bees with honey. People will only put up with so much, for so long. :(

Really loving the drink recipes.

So for the curious & probably old timers, I was playing around with matching up
chairs for the new table.
My thoughts are the Princess Throne Chairs look pretty good.
Has the purple for the flowers and also gold trim as well.
Seems the color works well too.
2nd choice were the elegant chairs.
Possible doily chairs too, but I am so not spending 60 G's for one chair.

After u finish with the heart punch u have to visit 12 neighbors and then u can buy the dating game show, sorry i don't like that one, so i placed it right in to the store. I'm now busy with the blue, love magic bubble tea. 15 (takes 6 hours)

I love I can always come to this forum to see what will come up for the goals & what I am going to need but it also lets me know what I need to gift others. 1 part needed is always list up front on the gift list but there is usually something else needed people may not have a lot of, like the red potion.

When you've got all of your ovens started cooking go to one of your neighbours for a few seconds. That helps to set your progress on the server. Good luck.

I like the goal. Tiles and wallpapers are from FS but lovely. The prices are kinda cute too but not as they were for valentines 2 or 3 years ago.
I also don?t mind the side goal. The kissing booth fits fro Valentine?s Day but not the tables and chairs. Would prefer something with hearts or heart shaped and not the floral theme, which would fit more for spring and Easter.
I always wish that Storm8 would bring back some of the old tables, chairs, tiles... decoration. I already wrote in a post here, how I would love if they brought especially tables and chairs, for winter. I had quite many decorations for winter but not nearly enough tables and chairs. The same with Valentine?s Day tables and chairs though Storm8 is only pushing out another decorations but not tables and chairs, which I lack the most!

Why do they force us to buy these ugly chairs and tables. I have enough random junk they force us to buy. And 20k a piece for a chair. For 4 chairs, that is basically 10-12 hours of selling food with an extremely effective set up. And 18k for an ugly table. Come on storm 8. Just ask us to buy 4 tables and chairs. At least then we could chose how to set ourselves back 3 to 4 days worth of collecting coins. Never going to be able to expand again. And they wouldn't even consider replacing the 100 gems I accidently spent on 2 million coins. Shaking my head. Cannot get anywhere in this game.
Please also consider a level above 99. It would sure help me decipher which of my neighbors are still playing and who has quit long ago. As well as give us an incentive to keep going. Like a little personal achievement. Rant over.

I like the concept of the dating show. I think it's pretty unique for a Vday theme since we always get the same pink and red decor. However, I don't think neither the tables nor chairs actually match the game show theme... They're way too flowery and belong in either a spring or Mother's Day theme. I also don't like how the characters are designed in this goal prize. I prefer the old designs where the characters look a bit softer (iykwim). Lately the new updates have these weird looking characters and they look out of place. Also, it's pretty hard to incorporate these goal prizes with old Vday decor since it's so different. I too won't be displaying it this year do I hope they give us a sale soon. Maybe next year I'll think of a good design for this stuff... But I appreciate the goal and everyone's help! Also, I've always wanted the kissing booth! Am I the only one? I think it's a classic bakery story decor item and am happy they rereleased it ;)

This isn't the way to make profit... you want more satisfied buyers and provide them with loren BETTER decoration options so that they purchase gems and coins. If you really want money, do normal updates again! Release updates with a lot of floor decorations so that people have a lot to choose from and have them on sale for the first week so that people buy gems to get them! Have more 50% off crate sales! Put expansions and oven slots on sale! Doing this same milking of our accounts with these boring, rushed and recycled goals only makes everyone mad and want to leave the game. Here and on Restaurant Story, atleast 50% of my neighbors have quit because this game is becoming more of a chore. Please make the switch and go back to good weekly updates with new content, even if it does take more time and money, youll get more back in return. Do it now while you still have interactive customers and your apps aren't a ghost town!

Regarding the tables and chairs, IMO they certainly do not match. But I actually really like the tables, the chairs I will never use. Wanted to point out that, unless this goal was different, with past goals we can normally purchase any tables and chairs and they will count. I'm not fond of any of the prizes this time, with the exception of the kissing booth which I already had. The rest are very childish for a dating theme, looks like young kids dating to me I'll be storing them probably indefinitely.

After the goal, or at random times I go thru my stuff, You put it in the bakery, & then sell it. They only give you I think 10% of the cost but at least you're rid of it. The only stuff you UNFORTUNATELY cant sell is wallpaper & flooring! RUDE!! There's a lot of flooring I'd sell! Hope that helps. Sell button right below "store" when you're putting something away! So many people are quitting - people who have played for 5+ years. They won't be replaced with new players because the game is too expensive for newbies to play.

The tables and chairs weren't Valentiney AT ALL and they didn't go with the rest of the stuff. Goal items should all go together, IMO. The cookies look kinda Gingerbread people.

The theme was okay, but not super-Valentine's. Overall, not the best goal ever.

I don?t like it either. The newer ones look so out of place and not as cute as the older ones.

And it?s irritating when the people and decorations are not all uniform in size.

I wish they would fix this.

I wasn?t too impressed with the prizes for this goal. All I liked was the wallpaper. I hope the next goal is better.

Personal thoughts on this goal set:


I thought the prices, as usual, were pretty steep, but they at least seem to be getting a little better. At the very least, the content we got with this goal is marginally less pricey than the content from the Wonderful Winter goals back in January.


I really didn't like the theme of this goal set :( Reality Dating doesn't really translate to Valentine's Day for me, and with the exception of the Dessert Date (which features some kind of appliance and attempted cooking), I don't see how the prizes could fit in... really, anywhere. They don't really go with any other Valentine's Day content we've received in the past, and the odd curtain height on the TV night display makes it especially difficult to place.


That being said, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the Final Rose floor decoration :) Despite the name's obvious tie-in to a certain reality show, I thought the display itself was so cute and, unlike the other decor, actually versatile. I could see myself placing the couple in spring gardens, ballroom scenes, maybe even NYE/holiday parties. For me this little piece was the highlight of the goals :)


Coming to the recipes: I like the recipes and can see myself using them in other themes, but the drinks seem pixelated and generally out of focus :confused: I wish that hadn't been the case.


As for the rest of the goal content (tables/chairs/counters/wallpaper/flooring): I'm disappointed - not because it's recycled, but because none of it really goes together. The flooring and wallpaper may complement each other, but the table doesn't match the chairs, which don't match the counters, and none of them match the new content we received. At this point, I get it - recycled content is going to be a reality - but if we're going to get it, could we at least get sensibly-recycled content? The tables/chairs/counters that we received were each part of their own respective set back when they were originally released in Restaurant Story (sometimes with coordinating appliances as well). I'd rather have a whole set imported than bits and pieces that don't match.

Personal thoughts on this goal set:


I thought the prices, as usual, were pretty steep, but they at least seem to be getting a little better. At the very least, the content we got with this goal is marginally less pricey than the content from the Wonderful Winter goals back in January.


I really didn't like the theme of this goal set :( Reality Dating doesn't really translate to Valentine's Day for me, and with the exception of the Dessert Date (which features some kind of appliance and attempted cooking), I don't see how the prizes could fit in... really, anywhere. They don't really go with any other Valentine's Day content we've received in the past, and the odd curtain height on the TV night display makes it especially difficult to place.


That being said, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the Final Rose floor decoration :) Despite the name's obvious tie-in to a certain reality show, I thought the display itself was so cute and, unlike the other decor, actually versatile. I could see myself placing the couple in spring gardens, ballroom scenes, maybe even NYE/holiday parties. For me this little piece was the highlight of the goals :)


Coming to the recipes: I like the recipes and can see myself using them in other themes, but the drinks seem pixelated and generally out of focus :confused: I wish that hadn't been the case.


As for the rest of the goal content (tables/chairs/counters/wallpaper/flooring): I'm disappointed - not because it's recycled, but because none of it really goes together. The flooring and wallpaper may complement each other, but the table doesn't match the chairs, which don't match the counters, and none of them match the new content we received. At this point, I get it - recycled content is going to be a reality - but if we're going to get it, could we at least get sensibly-recycled content? I agree with the recycled content, honestly would rather have new recipes than decor if we had to choose but at least have the recycled stuff matching. or maybe release the exact goal they are recycling from RS and vice versa.

MAIN GOAL: I enjoyed the main goal. I love getting new appliances and recipes. And wallpaper and tiles and decorations. The tables and chairs were nice but didn't have anything to do with Valentine's Day. They didn't even match each other. The cookies from the Lovin Oven looked like burnt Gingerbread Men that had spread out in the oven. Certainly not attractive for display in my bakery. Think about it, would you buy or eat that in real life?

SIDE GOAL: I like having the opportunity to earn extra prizes. I mastered the original stove a year ago and am close to mastering the drink machine. Revisiting old recipes is fun and I get a prize. But let's change it up a bit. We are asked to cook the same recipes for almost every side goal. I liked it at Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas when you put the previously removed recipes back on the basic appliances and made those the side goal.

That said, I do love Bakery Story and have no intention in quitting. Thank you STORM8 for keeping it going.
