I too decided to concentrate on tourney but Glasswing13 just got demolished by Raven 3.

Glasswing lost because of the rainbow element in it and the dragon itself is 10 levels above Raven. I always advise fellow players to try to avoid using high level dragons against low level dragons under level 5 because some of them have a Napoleon complex and will drop a higher level dragon. In addition, black is strong against rainbow. A Forest or Light dragon should give you better results - black is weak against green and white.

Thanks so much skyharbor, I do have a few of those! I wish I'd checked here sooner. I tried Prankster lvl 13 twice ... should have worked but just unlucky I suppose. After 5 losses I pulled out Warrior Princess 15 and she took down Japanese.

Is your Unicorn level 10 or above? If it is, I would try that or even try the level 3 Wardrum to see if it has a Napoleon complex. It may surprise you and win.

Your Valiant has best odds to knock out Daywing (out of what dragons you listed). Also any of Your Diamond types at level 14 up are good odds so is Mithril 15 (not as good as Valiant according to calculator lol) ..

Guess what, got Argentinean out of spa early and beat Amazon with it! What a relief. Decided to speed up the last fight, so I can forget about the tournament. Last opponent lost to my Warrior Princess. Now I only have to finish the tales and then I am going to take a break from events. I think ...

I used Little Hero, (pink, purple, blue)to beat Griffin. When it comes to the tough ones, I like to try the colour matching to see if it helps. Little Hero uses pink magic, although I used bashes to beat Griffin. Hope this helps.

Against Griffin green/white the best I have seen used was Splatter dragon which is Rainbow & red and it was level 14

Everyone is saying World uses bubble magic so treat it as Water-blue
But my Rainbow uses bubble magic (it looks like bubbles lol) so how do you know which bubbles are water verses Rainbow bubbles?
And 2 others are confusing like Olympus uses pink magic yet it has a good rating (calculator) against Champion and spooky black magic which doesn not match the charts. Eg the Diamond/Lightning sign for Olympus had higher percentage than just a Diamond and so did Nyx blue/Lightning against Paladin and Amazon. I am trying to prioritize who to level up (feed) first.
Passion is confusing it seems like Passion alone is much stronger somehow than when with another color? Valentine Passion type dragons are available now so I am wondering if the Passion/white will be good too. My leftheart does not seem that great.

Exactly! You just need to spend some time in game after battle. Like 1 to 2 minutes minimum. I usually do farming, collect coins or mine. Haven't had the trouble of round restarting once I have started doing it. Another tip for winning is trying to complete the tourney like 2,3 days before the end day. I had noticed it during previous tourneys (the one i participated almost 2 years ago) that if you try to complete it like that you have better chances of less loses n winning. Now I can't play for a full day even if I want to. I have faced the game not connecting issues in almost all tourneys

I?ve managed to progress - thanks for advice - but have been stuck on Chroma for last 24 hours. I?ve used winners listed on this page - Dread Captain 12 , Glasswing 12 three times each and filled in time waiting for healing with Unruly 15 (Champ) and Spirit Warrior 12 (Champ). My only other Champ is Daywing.
Any suggestions where I go next? Round 23 is a real achievement for me and I actually thought I might win my first tournament. I now need a dream run for that to happen. Ho hum.

I did within 3 minutes left of tourney. Had to use 4 gold to speed up the next round but hey I am not complaining. 4 gold for a dragon is almost non existent lol
