i don't think it's a tendence... they just copied winter frost fountain recipes (as ms. dodobakery said, recolored, and + took all stats).

the recipes itself are not the best ones - just compare 6 hrs icy blue cocoa (new one) and white hot cocoa (regular one).

but yes, they cd be great help for newbies if they get in time to unlock them all: the cost to cook is unusually low, and the experience yields are incredible :)

If you time things correctly it can be done. For example since the first couple recipes aren’t super long I’m working on recipes for the 3rd and 4th parts nows since they’re longer cook times. That way I won’t be doing a lot of waiting and they won’t spoil right away. You gotta have a strategy I usually finish the 5 day goals with 2 or 3 days to spare

I love they have main oven items. That means I have 16 ovens to cook on? Versus two or three newly built appliances that have 3 recipes each until the end of time....that sit in my storage afterwards. Why would you not like that? You would rather 16 of the new recipes on the new appliance that u may only have one or two of instead of chocolate cakes on main ovens which I'm sure u have a ton of?. Would make the task a bit harder eh?

The new recipes added to old appliances are staying. The removal of the new candy cane recipes on the candy cane maker was a mistake and fixed. The regular candy canes were never meant to stay and holiday recipes were always limited time. Pleeeeeease stop asking this question every single 5 day goal people. Geez

Agreed. If it happens one more time, I'm done with it. I'm still kind of ticked about the candy canes issue. I was so glad to get those candy canes. Also the RS LTO stuff. I thought it was new & I'd have time to master and then it was gone.

This is absolutely not true. When I started playing this game about 6 years ago, we got Christmas recipes they took out THIS year, so I have had them a long time. One of them was my favorite, so I am very sad to see it go (even though I mastered it).

I also love when they add new recipes to existing appliances but I really hate they are taking away recipes we already had. Especially the ones I really love of course. If they keep doing this I will completely quit playing this game.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents and say that I think this side goal is amazing and one of the better ones yet. There's no need to build countless ovens as they're not asking for any crazy amount of servings this time and the recipe times are all manageable. The goal prize is also great and something I've been trying to get for a while now. Not only that but we also get new recipes and 6 more gems from an existing oven. I only bought another 2 for a total of 3 ovens and I'm half way done. I really think S8 listened this time and I hope future mini goals are just as good! I'm a happy customer right now. :D

Yes it will count, as long as you don't serve it until you've reached that step (so will work for longer receipes, but not shorter ones that may rot ahead of time).

As far as i know, you can prepare recipes but you have to calculate, so when u finish a step u can serve the next one. Don't serve them to early cause then they don't count!! Yesterday evening i started with part 4, while i was still busy with part 3 those recipes took 8 hours so they hold a while and when i finished part 3 early this morning then i could serve half of part 4, with a bit luck i finish the goal tonight.

Agreed. It's not life or death nor is participating in goals mandatory to one's enjoyment of the game. Do not start the goal if you fear the recipes will be removed and risk of missing out if the slight chance that they will be removed is that upsetting.

i understand your confusion :) sometimes goals don't count, but this is only in case they require you to "prepare" smth.

so you can always check info in goals thread and plan accly:

- if the goal is asking you to PREPARE the dish - you sd wait until it pops up to start cooking food.

- if the goal is asking you to SERVE the dish - you can prepare it beforehand, just count the time correctly, as guys said above (the food spoils after same time period after readiness that cooking took. so, for example, if i need 3hrs dish to be served, i'm starting preparation not earlier 6hrs before i plan to serve it).

Using gems to finish goals is a choice.

It's not necessary at all to build appliances, not if one has an adequate number of helpful neighbours (which is completely within one's own control).

There's a timer to indicate how many days left to complete the goal, so that the player can again make a choice whether they have sufficient time to attempt it.

By the time any one were to get "official confirmation" on a 5-day goal, the goal would likely be over anyway.

The goal is nice. Though I already have the ice sculpture, I'm happy for more recipes on the cocoa maker. The new cocoa drinks looks delicious. But I'm also disappointed, because I posted some time ago, that would be nice, if we would get a new winter goal or get back some of the old tables and chairs, which I definitely don't have enough (tables and chairs) to fill out my bakery with the amount, I'd like to. Well, I'm not giving hopes up yet. Maybe Storm8 are gonna surprise us with a winter goal or old items brought back. Have a nice day/night everybody!

Hello everyone,

Anyone knows how much time is left? Im Pacific Time, Ive been extremely busy, not your normal daily busyness. I did put my phone timer on, for the 1 hour cook time but it would go off while driving and I didnt want to play on red lights, too many motorcycle cops, they drive in between cars looking in car windows Lol. Plus there were times I was on freeway and by the time I had free time my food had flies (just a few here and there). Just now Its 1:00 pm pacific time Im on step 3, do I have time? Again, I?m in Pacific Standard Time.

On these mini goals adding recipes to existing/available appliances is a real help. I've been playing at least 2 years, maybe 3 and I've built most of the ones offered to all players. I slacked off and missed finishing a few goals so I have some goal appliances with locked recipes.

On the 2 week goals I don't mind waiting for parts and building from the ground up.

Hi there

That has happen to me before, however, I think because I got a late start but yet, I?m on the game daily even if I?m extremely busy. And In my opinion it helps to come on here to get more information, that?s were I fall short, I hardly come on here unless something happen (which barely happens) or a question.
I missed out on that coffee counter thing! :( IDK if there is a way I can still get? :confused:

On this goal, step one, it was 1 hour and I was late attending the ovens and flies would be on them, was doing a lot errands that day driving and all. :p

Does anyone know if there's like a secondary goal to get the cocoa recipes? I didn't achieve the goal on time cause I didn't have room for more appliances and I didn't know the prize was more recipes. At the time I thought they just wanted me to buy a second cocoa machine and after finding out that it had only one recipe I didn't want a second one.
Am I destined to look at those pretty recipes on my cocoa machine forever without being able to unlock them?

You can't get locked recipes unless Storm8 decides to unlock them for future goals
