Thank u for ur response hun but I did the same color combo that is yellow n blue n selected Ambassador for first fight, lost it and then selected Lollipop thinking that purple is kind of neutral and there is yellow n then rainbow but it lost too. Just won by using Lighthouse.

Good luck, it CAN be done. My first couple of tourneys after I came back to the game, I didn't have one champ and had to color match my way through with mostly level 10 dragons.

If there weren't so many events stacked on top of each other, I'd try again but I have no time as it is keeping up with them all. I'm about 1/2 way thru this one and will ride it out with my Valiant and RS. I am trying Noel once I get it mithril and post how that went.

I usually can give good suggestions for opponents but for champions it's a little tricky if it's not a hybrid. I would say go ahead and try a diamond or ADIPS dragon if you don't have Air, Fire, Forest or Magic at level 15. Also I would try a dragon from a previous Dragon Tales like maybe Fungi, Noel, Prankster, Punk, Mage, Lonestar, Dark Omen or Neo Bat. Just keep plugging. No dragon is above being beat. Good luck.
EDIT: I see you do have Fire and Air at 15. I would try them again after trying the other dragons mentioned.

I always keep a level 1 Fire and Forest around for Champions if I can’t get them.

In the last tournament I took down Amazon with Lost Love, which is Valentine/Blue, actually I think I used 3 of the Valentine Dragons in the last tournament, just a thought.

Another option would be Snow Lady from the mine, took down Mithrill with a level 1.

I am staring to get fraught, I have now had 3 roll backs during this tournament and it does not matter if I am on my iPad ... 3 years old or my iPhone which is 1 year old! I don’t need to heel dragons but have found that I have neglected some that probably needed healing up to a year ago.

The real kicker is that I am beating the dragons again with what I originally used. I am going through a thing for Game of Thrones streaming from my Pay TV provider, never watched it before but now on season 5 but I digress! I finish watching an episode from streaming, mess about on my Isle, complete Bingo challenges and Battles, visit neighbours or go and mine, come back an hour later and I am battling the same dragon as I have no internet connection after 10 seconds from 1 site to another.

This needs to be fixed along with crashes, glitches, disappearing dragons! Nothing has been fixed, it is a shambles! Still no reply from the ticket I raised at the start of this event but why should that shock me.

Just maybe when I come to battle again in the next 30 or so minutes I will not be facing Abyss and again beating it by Delver!

Noel didn't work on Mithril, but Passion did.

What I've noticed, is the more I use a dragon, the better it becomes in a tourney. My passion after leveling up was junk, but after a few lower level wins across multiple tourneys, it's becoming more reliable with the higher level champs.

Being first generation US born out of Ireland, I feel comfortable saying the British dragon looks more Celtic than the Irish dragon lol...you can't just paint something green.

I am staring to get fraught, I have now had 3 roll backs during this tournament and it does not matter if I am on my iPad ... 3 years old or my iPhone which is 1 year old! I don?t need to heel dragons but have found that I have neglected some that probably needed healing up to a year ago.

The real kicker is that I am beating the dragons again with what I originally used. I am going through a thing for Game of Thrones streaming from my Pay TV provider, never watched it before but now on season 5 but I digress! I finish watching an episode from streaming, mess about on my Isle, complete Bingo challenges and Battles, visit neighbours or go and mine, come back an hour later and I am battling the same dragon as I have no internet connection after 10 seconds from 1 site to another.

This needs to be fixed along with crashes, glitches, disappearing dragons! Nothing has been fixed, it is a shambles! Still no reply from the ticket I raised at the start of this event but why should that shock me.

Just maybe when I come to battle again in the next 30 or so minutes I will not be facing Abyss and again beating it by Delver!

Out of what you listed

Metal level 15 has highest chance (55%) for a critical hit and will take the Knight out. A Diamond 15 is only 5% more. Your Fire 15 is 25%.
I'd keep healing your Metal & use Fire or Bronze while healing. You'll get him!!

Took a peak at your island, I'm assuming you've tried all of your ADIPS (Achilles, diamond, infinity, passion soccer). Have you tried your Fire, Air or Noel? Try a level 1 fire too.

I have better luck on a diamond right out of the spa when a champ is giving me problems. And if you always bash first, try magic - I've had a lot of success with magic first, even if bash later takes it down.

Then they rubbed their hands with glee and decided to sell a 4 habitat for 50 gold and for us that was okay but for the lower level players who could not afford the habitats I believe that was the reason a colour was added. Pyramid was the first they changed in a leaderboard event.

Personally I don’t really think it diminishes them, their strength is still their along with the added bonus of colour. That is opinion and I know others will not feel the same way but that’s okay and it’s only my opinion.

It took me a while to understand what that was as well. In the industry, "GPD" is Gameplay Designer", so I had to re-train myself on these forums xD

As for using one in a tourney, I don't think I'd ever be keen on it since I want him strictly staying in his habitat for his slave labor gold production!

Did the typing for the Irish and the British dragons maybe get accidentally switched? The Irish Dragon definitely looks like a stone-type (and not very "Irish," imho), but the non-stone-like British is the one who's stone/green/earth(or whatever it's called). Seems backwards.

This Irish Dragon would have been better suited as the Moss Dragon (who is very un-mossy). Plus, the Tiny body type is underwhelming as a battle boss.

The way I keep that bug from happening is I collect coins from at least 5 habitats immediately after a victory. I had problems with rollbacks during tourneys a while back but since I started collecting coins after matches the rollbacks stopped. Just a suggestion.

Do you always 'bash' first? Then use magic first (or vice versa). This tournament, I used magic first on just about every round with my best success rate ever. I was always bashing away and losing a lot to champ types. Mixing that up, has helped a lot. Maybe it doesn't matter, a hit is a hit, but it never hurts to try if you're stuck!

They do work okay, I have used them before but I use them as Dark/Yellow. Have found that because they are classed as Unbreedable i think it works, not on all champions but you an get lucky! I have used Pyramid in the arena since his regrading asi like to call it and won.

I believe we feel that it is our s**** that wins battles but in fact I am sure that it is probably predetermined by the intricacies of the game, like the wheel and when we breed. Otherwise why would a Level Snowlady win over a level 16 Mithrill, even I was shocked!

I often wonder how the company sets its win/loss ratios. The continual losses are very discouraging and backfire on any desire I had to spend gold. Without everyone's help here I would've quit a long time ago.

I tend to do the same, but on top of it I normally do just a single round in the Mine, either Bombs or TNT, so that it forces a save state upon completion.

I'm getting the win resets a lot more in the last few tournaments in both Fantasy forest and dragon story! I would fight one match win and then the game resynchs/glitches without any clear notice and an hour later I have to redo the same fight :( this didn't use to happen for me. This time I won Irish but noticed the glitch after the win screen, even though the arena timer bar started counting down again. I checked my inventory and Irish wasn't in my inventory! Whatever u guys changed, it's not working properly :(

This is ridiculous!!! Strength is not going down. Diamond x2, metal, Award, Aqua fayer, Crystal fyre i think don't remember the name but its a fyre one, Gilded Knight, Playful, RsS, Crusader, Yule, Bramble and some others which i don't remember right now all gone. This is ridiculous!!! Strength is not going down. Diamond x2, metal, Award, Aqua fayer, Crystal fyre i think don't remember the name but its a fyre one, Gilded Knight, Playful, RsS, Crusader, Yule, Bramble and some others which i don't remember right now all gone. Never realised in speeding up battle but m down to 69 from 103. I should have used Ultimate it would have saved me these many loses n 10 gold. Totally frustrating

After losing to Strength for well over a day, resorted to ultimate early this morning. Currently losing to Emerald Knight with the usual suspects down at the moment. Am determined to complete this one - heritage is 50% Irish.
No interesting winners in any of my final rounds on either game. Champs & Dia 15s have pulled through -- usually after several attempts. Will certainly pop back with any surprise winners!

I would say if u have lv 15 diamond just keep using him and speed up the heal. It?s a 25% chance to beat a lv 20 champ (maybe even higher against level 19). You would be expected to beat it in 4 tries which is 20 gold instead of 30. Downside is you have to wait a couple hours for the fight cool down. Everything else you listed other than level 15 metal only has a 10% chance of beating it. That?s pretty bad odds and with some bad luck I can easily see it taking you a whole day. You would be better off using the disposable fire strategy if you don?t have a lv 15 diamond or metal.

Honestly, I don't care about Irish anymore. This round was too frustrating. Strength was my personal enemy, I had to defeat him (on day 2), but I will not spend gold to finish.

Yeah this was a tough one. I barely made it with 2-3 hours left. My problem this time was I kept losing to the non-champs over and over again. I kept losing to that dragon that breathes stars for its attack for at least 5 times before finally beating it. Sometimes luck can really get ya.

I had to spend gold to speed a lot of the last two rounds because Strength took up so much time yesterday and I had to actually sleep. So woke up with just a few hours left and had to get past Emerald Knight withbith Diamonds, Metal, Passion and Soccer all in need of healing. Basically lucked out with Wild Imp after about 4 losses.

Lately we've gotten pieces to craft the monthly dragons (based on the last couple of months it should give us Travel Logs this time). But not this time. Anyone know why we didn't get pieces to help us craft Mother Earth Dragon?

Wow you did great going all the way to Strength! Congrats! I've only completed 2 tournaments so far & I believe that was luck ... Well on the level 18-20 champions I know it's luck because I don't have any dragons that give me better than 25% chance & most of the time with my Metal 14 & Bronze 11 (no diamond 15 which is what's needed) I only have 10% chance ... Better than winning the lottery but it's pure luck at that point.

The last few tournaments have been very disheartening. I always prefer to play by color type but it's amazing that I'm doing worse the longer I play (and more Champions I acquire).

pre-Champion - Usually 2 or 3 losses per round and I'd run out of time. Disposable level 1 Fires were my go-to dragons.
couple of champions - Finished tournaments consistently using color type, then Champion, then disposable Fire.
recent (have 2 Mithril) - always have at least 1 opponent with 8+ losses. Disposable fire no longer works.

I've never spent gold speeding up a round (or for ultimate) and I wonder if that affects my tournament. I used to think that I needed Champions to finish a tournament, but honestly, I'm doing worse.

I've loved these tournament threads and all the amazing help and encouragement but the aggravation is sucking the fun out of playing.

As your Metal is already at 14, harvest more apples & raise it to 15.

Thanks Metal sure will! He's taken down every champ for me so far & I'm surprised he healed after being crumpled like a tin can! I'm working on leveling up my 2 Christmas gift (thanks Storm8) champions Mithril (mine) & Glasswing (DTales) & Air, Water , Dark ones.. Gosh too long to list....

It was never like this for me but this time. It was really frustrating. Games should be fun, yes they need to be difficult but not impossible. Nothing working is not normal. Anyways let's see what the next tourney has in store for us. Like so many others I don't have Mithril or Achilles or many diamond dragons. Just the diamond, Crusader and Gold,which if you look from players who don't have any Diamond dragon I may sound like an ungrateful person. lol. Ranting on and on, can't help it too. I love this game and I won't stop playing I know unless it's really way too much of a hustle to play. For me, these odds are too many to ignore just at odds.
