Quest problem/bingo

In the silver league bingo, I have tried to win a square by sending a dragon on a quest. The dragon goes but the bingo game does not register the departure. I know I sent it on the right quest, and know it was a ?send? quest not a ?complete? quest. I have tried closing/ reopening game but no luck. Any explanation? This has happened twice.

Did you hit the start button? Only asking because I sometimes forget to hit the start button.

Yes, although I forget to hit start sometimes, not these two times because I could see the counter. It really messed up the bingo game.
