Congratulations on getting Carol! It's the only 22:59 possibility from Yule and Virtue. I should've used that combo instead of speed breeding through fails, lol.

Congratulations! I tried that combo before and had 3 fails then I switched to what I used. At least we know it's not a Wishlist fiasco like the one about 3 weeks ago.

I got in on the third try with Virtue and Forest! My 2 fails were 4-hour Firegrass. This was the easiest side goal for me ever.

After 2 Firegrass fails, I got a Unicorn dragon which I didn't have yet so I'm quite happy now. :o

Have no luck with these side tasks until after its over .. Eg.. Wishlist, gloriosa, and now Carol 😠 (which i will probably get it once the task is over)... 3 fails using Yule and virtue, luckily it's 3 - 6 hour fails. Well will keep trying with the same dragons ... Unless I I see other combos that I actually have I will definitely try those! ... Good luck everyone and Happy healthy new year!

A UNICORN? That would require a diamond element in the mix. Perhaps he/she bred a Quetzal with a Virtue.

Yeah I am getting tired of this as well, all these side breed traps that are useless...keep getting wilds and lifes and garbage waste of time breeds on a total of three dens.

Isnt the point of playing the game to enjoy it and accomplish the task at some reasonable time? The fact that we feel forced to breed these two lousy combos to get those points is TELLING that we dont feel it is reasonable to accomplish the community event with normal game play, it for sure is a huge negative that the fun is gone and it is such a chore.

Just got a 26 hr fail, probably Pegasus...bah humbug. I think S8 should give us all this dragon to compensate partially for points problem, and the last 3 event problems (and our missing points)

Used my 10x bingo boost and finally got it with rose and kitsune. I really wanted this dragon, it's beautiful.

With about 2 1/2 days left, I won't be forced to feed it up. After the speed breeding, I'm sitting in good shape. I think I'll save the 2 Pegasus eggs on the nest and hatch them during leaderboard. Don't think I'll need them, with a 26 hour and 24 hour currently sitting in the dens, just watching time go by.......

26 and 33 hr fails ... Not spending anymore gold or boosts on this, so no way to get it and even hatch it in time. My island is so broken. I have been a decent customer, although qyick to point out when they are wrong. I wouldn't have to if I even once felt like a cared for customer. I need a break from events and $$$. Thanks S8 for making the holidays soooooo great 8-/

33 hr fail is virtue. I think it's the only 33 hr egg. I use another site for eggs, Google dragon Story eggs, I click on gamerologism you can filter eggs by name, time, it's great

Yeah I've been trying to breed it non stop for days now and just cannot get it. So stupid that it gives you tons of points ONLY if you get lucky enough to breed AND hatch it before the specific quest ends.

With 27 hour fails, yeah that's fair. Still bitter about how utterly fail these last events have been with like, no compensation for what we lost during the time.

Have been trying for this nonstop since the event started because I really like this dragon... Have two dens, designated one to trying for Merry (with no luck at all) and the other one to Carol. Since Merry expired I'm trying for Carol on two dens ... And there's still nothing, nada, zilch!!!

This is ridiculous - beside not getting a beautiful dragon I also have no chance of getting the individual price of the event ... Need those 500 points, as well as the approx 200 points I missed out on due to the faulty programming at the beginning of this event. This game is supposed to be fun :confused::mad:

I didn't this one either despite trying non-stop, then using my only two 10x breeding boosts and spending 100+ gold to speed. I did get to the last individual prize ... but would have preferred just getting Carol dragon :(
