Tips about the Event
1. It's not that you have one day to complete a chapter - it's that another chapter won't UNLOCK until the next day.
2. If you finish the chapter early, you have to wait for the remainder of the time to expire before the next chapter starts. You have to complete a chapter to begin the next chapter.
3. If you take longer than a day to complete a chapter then the next one will start sooner.
4. If you gem skip a chapter, the next one doesn't start sooner (you will wait even longer!).

Specific Tips for this Event:
5. The requirements for lower leveled players is the SAME.

6. Prima ballerina Presents - you can find these in the FEATURED section in the market near the end of the list.

7. You will not get the special drops until you get to the goal that asks for them!

Our scene begins on a normal day in the Kingdom, a day like any other... Oh hi! I didn't see you there! I've hard a lot about you and your realm, so I just had to come here and see for myself. My name is Lara and I am a prima ballerina faerie from the far away land of dance! Once I arrived I was struck with a brilliant idea! A magnificent performance of a dance extravaganza, starring me, right here in your realm! Doesn't that just sound marvelous? Just sit back and go about your day. I won't be in the way!

I don't mean to break through the fourth wall here, but it seems as if you're quite good at doing a lot of work to help out! You'd make an excellent stage hand! If you can help me out with a few things, I can keep rehearsing my performance.

We need a nutcracker in order to properly tell the story of the Glimmercracker Suite, and not just any old nutcracker! Legend tells of a nutcracker, just like this one, with magical powers to fight the forces of evil! Props are very important when it comes to putting on a riveting show, can't you tell?

The Skunkumouse appears at the start of Chapter 7.
The Glimmercracker has drawn the terrible and fearsome mouse warrior to attack the Kingdom! We must rally our forces and battle against these terrible villains. What a twist!

I'm pretty sure that Glimmercracker is just a regular nutcracker... and these warriors are just wee baby Skunkupines! It looks like someone has put mice costumes on them... Ruler, you may want to try and reign in the dancing faerie.

Just a general heads up reminder about storybook events. On days when items need to be collected and/or crafted, never be in a rush to finish the last daily task. Often drops stop and crafts disappear in between days, and we end up stuck for hours with nothing to do while waiting for the next chapter to unlock. I personally leave the last task undone as long as possible to continue collecting and/or crafting ahead, so I don't fall behind on later chapters.

The timer: The timer on the outside rounds up. The one on the inside is accurate. Add the days left in the event to the hours left before the new day unlocks and you'll have the total time left in the event.

Also....Has anyone purchased the Millionaire's Club Statue? It costs 1 million coins and drops 12,800 coins with a 7 day timer. It's 2x2 and huge! I placed it but didn't purchase yet when I saw how massive it is. Shouldn't be surprised since it is the Baron after all. :rolleyes: I'm wondering what else it might drop, if anything.

:eek: I didn't do the math, but that is a very long term payoff.
I'm only interested if it has a chance at other worthwhile or rare drops. (Such as gems, gold items, expansion permits, etc.)
If it's coins only, I will pass, mainly because it's too big and gaudy for my taste. It will be hard, if not impossible, to hide!

A lot of times drops and ability to craft special items disappears in between chapters. Hence why you should not complete the last step of the chapter until the next chapter is ready to begin. It's in the mornings for me so I won't complete the last goal until that morning and can immediately go into the next chapter

An FYI if you're trying to work ahead. I'm only on ch1 goal 2 (waiting for my Jeweler timer). The Twinkle Bells are dropping from rocky outcrops for me. No idea what they'll be used for yet, but I can collect those right now. So far, no ribbons from rocky outcrops (yet) as mentioned earlier.

So we can't start collecting bells and more from rocks yet? I have read others are maxed...after it reset and my bells disappeared and the rocks stopped dropping bells I collected from jewelers and still no bells so I bought theatre and still no bells so I built 1 st part and have to wait till tomorrow and still no bell drops just want to confirm that they are not supposed to drop until tomorrow I guess so I don't waste any more rocks or energy trying...makes little sense some people have them and others dont

My thoughts exactly. This and 1 million coin takes me out of the game right from the start. I have maxed on collecting eggs several times over the past 2 months and have only 9 golden eggs. Feel a little like "payed cs8 .. and all I got was this rotten T-shirt". If you WANT to do the event, plain chickens are your best bet and with that you tipically get 1 golden egg for (roughly) ever 30 collections. I have 4 chickens in my lower lvl queendom (lvl 19 now) and I have 4 golds for barely collecting from my chicks. Either way, best of luck✨

S8. Please do tell us what the reward of this event? Is she a walker? If not, what is she drop? Or theathre on the round drop? And if she is a walker, what other rewards can we get? By this info, we can select to join or not this event. I have more that 15 golden eggs but we have to know what the exchange by this golden ish cost? So before S8 answer us, then I choose not to join the event. Even if maybe in the end of this 10 days I will be dissappointed if I dont join and the drop actually good, its fine. Thank you...

Has any lower leveled player had the event pop up yet?
I started in my lvl 50 game however it doesn't show up on my lvl 19 game. I did notice that in my lvl 19 one that the platform thing we need to buy is shaded and locked in my market til I reach lvl 25... Any clarification is much appreciated😊
Ps. Presents are showing a max of 99, not 200.

I am level 30 and the event is available to start. I haven't started it yet because I'm waiting for more information about the later upgrades.

And I'm also hoping that someone will tell us if the requirements for lower level players is easier. There is no way I will be able to complete if we have to use 15 golden eggs to upgrade to level 2 but if lower level players have an easier requirement I might be able to do it. I have/can get all the other requirements that have been listed so far.

Same here. After I finished the 3 goals of 1st chapter bells not dropping from rock chopping either.

I didn't check the forum until after I finished chapter 1. That was when I learned about the twinkle bells coming from rock outcropping. I then chopped 4 and received 52 twinkle bells. All of this after completing chapter 1 and waiting for chapter 2. Not sure why it isn't working for you unless this was changed after I did my chopping. I started the event shortly after it was available.

Look at it this way, if the golden eggs had been for level 10 you'd have worked for nine days only to discover you couldn't finish. At least by making the impossible item level two they've heard our complaints about that.

I noticed that the ability to craft the mouse/skunkupine is no longer in my workshops, but the 20 gem cheese trap is still available for purchase.
Has anyone managed to spawn a mouse (or whatever it is) in the wild yet? I'm guessing we will have to fight them at some point in order to advance, so they will have to spawn from somewhere other than the traps. But being only on chapter 2, I don't see any reason to fight them yet. (Especially since the craft is gone.)
As for now, I'm keeping my troll parked as long as possible to avoid direboars while chopping rocks.

* for those who do not need monster drops...it is helpful to collect until you spawn a monster, then leave it parked while chopping rocks. This avoids wasting energy fighting monster after monster while trying to collect ribbons or bells, etc

*Don't forget... hold off on that final upgrade in order to keep collecting for the next chapter!

I guess this is one instance where it paid to start right away. Sometimes those who are the first to start find that things aren't working the way they are supposed to and it's to their disadvantage.

I finished the third goal for Chapter 2 and without thinking upgraded the stage. Totally forgot it would finish chapter 2 and now I can't continue to gather ribbons, oh well. Better luck tomorrow.

I did the same. Finished chapter 2 and then thought I'll look on the forum for the next few chapters requirement. Totally forgot that I never used to finish the last goal till the next morning. Never mind.

Have to checked your inventory? They may have been delivered in crate form. If that is not the case, force close your game to reboot it (possible an uninstall/reinstall might be necessary). If you have done all these things with no results, then you file a ticket with s8 and inform them of the problem. Posting in the bug thread can't hurt either✨

I like the fact that some of the requirements to upgrade have to come from inventory... like petals, fancy blocks, and living wood (ouch). It makes having a full inventory actually worth it for game play. I was getting put off by the events being complete-able only by harvesting brand new sources of event-only materials that are useless once the event is over.

Still... the 15 golden eggs is a bit much. I'm holding out to see what she drops to see if the golden eggs are worth it. I don't want another petal-dropper in my kingdom.

I got impatient and started anyway and I can confirm that at level 30 the goals and the requirements for building the theatre to level 1 are exactly the same as listed by SW at the start of this thread. I can't see the upgrade requirements for level 2 yet but it looks like this event isn't for us lower level players as maryamhjm has said:

That's annoying - I also got the benefit of lower requirements in past events due to being at a lower level and was able to finish or at least participate in part of the event (ie. I built the haunted cabin and got two of the halloween babies but opted out of trying to get the ghost knight and finish the tomb). I think it's a shame that this Christmas event doesn't have any part (or a side prize) that us lower level players could work on.

Well back to working on upgrading buildings, etc... oh, I guess this could be a good time to do my jousting arena goals too.

ETA: Agni's wyvern drops energy? I didn't know that - cool! ps. Agni doesn't just drop petals, she has dropped 3 spellbound dew for me a couple of times now.

LOL saw this post about 5 min too late today! I'll remember for tomorrow. I could have collected a bunch of stuff today.

I might get the statue. I've been playing this game for years and have 4.5 million coins right now. That's even with taking a really long break from playing. I knew there would be something fun this time of year so I started up again.

Just a general heads up reminder about storybook events. On days when items need to be collected and/or crafted, never be in a rush to finish the last daily task. Often drops stop and crafts disappear in between days, and we end up stuck for hours with nothing to do while waiting for the next chapter to unlock. I personally leave the last task undone as long as possible to continue collecting and/or crafting ahead, so I don't fall behind on later chapters.

The timer: The timer on the outside rounds up. The one on the inside is accurate. Add the days left in the venet to the hours left before the new day unlocks and you'll have the total time left in the event.

Also....Has anyone purchased the Millionaire's Club Statue? It costs 1 million coins and drops 12,800 coins with a 7 day timer. It's 2x2 and huge! I placed it but didn't purchase yet when I saw how massive it is. Shouldn't be surprised since it is the Baron after all. :rolleyes: I'm wondering what else it might drop, if anything.

Can someone remind me where I get the living wood besides making them? Will one of trees drop like that other quest. I was happy I had 99 but was going to finish another quest I have been working on for almost a year, darn living wood.

I too was hoping for a better Black Friday sale, another game I played would offer the gems half price so I could buy the larger one and have gems for the quests.

You can gather living wood more regularly from sawmills or from chopping crab trees. These other stuff are rare, but if you have them, they give living wood too ... Spring dragon, fawn, elvenite stag, autumn stag, Greselda's dark garden, and the tuftkins from the recent event.

I'm definitely out of this event. I still wanted to move on but got booted out with the 15 golden eggs requirement. I'm level 50, but even for some of us high-level players, 15 is too steep. In past events, S8 only used to require 5, or at most 10 of any of the golden resources. Why ask for 15 now? The chickens, peacocks, and any of the breeders don't produce that much. Only Aideen gives golden eggs, and she doesn't even have feathers!

This is really really cr*p that players that started right away were able to receive bells right away and those that chose to delay their start for whatever reason are now punished. Merry Christmas everyone. Geez. . . I have been put off this game quite a bit lately and j haven't ever felt this way about CS. It al started with a disappointing Black Friday sale and has just gotten worse.

I would love to have gotten bells early, too... but I look at it like a bonus for those that start early. Frequently, that group is penalized... plus they take a risk and share info so we can plan.

2) and 3) Any excess twinkle bells will carryover to next chapter, best to max ribbons and twinkle bells (and any other available to craft item) BEFORE you finish the last task. Between chapters the bells and ribbons turn off.

1) check back on page 1 for final word (and easier access to info) from SW on max upgrade. Likely five considering high requirements of hard to find items.

Max ribbons in inventory 200 (presents from market deep in featured items) 1-5 per chop so far.
Max twinkle bells in inventory (rocky outcropping only)

Is it just me or is the skunkumouse not in listed in the workshop anymore? For me it was listed yesterday but it disappeared about half way through the day. I thought it might reset when Day 2 started but it hasn't.
That said I don't know if I would craft it anyway because I'm not spending gems on traps and I'm not sure how else you can get top hats. Anyone else know?

40 Tophats are needed to craft the Skunkumouse. I have out 8 farmhouses. I mostly spawn a Skunkumouse 2 times of the 8, sometimes 3. But the Tophats are needed to craft other things needed to upgrade the Theatre. So it is slow going. There are still many days left, and these goals are not as challenging as some in past events. Hopefully, many of us can finish.

A lot of the chapters can usually be finished in less than a day. Look at the requirements as they become known and stock up on everything you need, then when you get your golden eggs you can decide if you have time to play catch up.

Yes, you can make the Protagonist Jacket and the Antagonist Ensemble in advance. I made too many and had a couple of them left in inventory but if I remember correctly, you'll need around 15 of them in the later chapters.

Yes that shouldn?t be an issue, because the last step in this chapter is to upgrade the theatre so you technically can make as many suits as you want prior to pressing the upgrade button when you click on the theatre. So just make your 8/9 (if you?re a hoarder) then upgrade or wait til after you?ve refilled your twinkle bells and ribbons back to 200 of each then upgrade.

It's hard to remember exactly but I think you need about 9 suits for the upgrade but you also need a suit to make the Supermunery Puppet. You need to craft around 6 puppets, so a total of 15 Protaganist Suits in all.

What chapter are you working on? You have to be on the goal that tells you to craft the suit. If that's where you are, then I think only S8 can help you if it's a glitch.

I didn't have any problem crafting the suit, so I can't imagine why it would be locked for you if you've completed goal 1 in chapter 4. So unfortunately, you'll probably have to ask support to take a look. Sorry.

You're welcome. Also try not to max out the rehearsal ribbons by chopping too many ballerina presents. The ballerina presents start dropping petticoat pants along with the ribbons in later chapters. So if you waste energy collecting too many ribbons, you'll still have to chop more to get the petticoats. The petticoat pants are used to make the Antagonist Ensemble. Good luck.

I finished goal one, started goal two, tailor the Protagonist suit/ first i managed to craft one suit in both workshops at the same time for few/10 or so/ seconds,but than it kicked me out and now i cant proceed with goal.did i make mistake to tailor two suits when the goal asks only one? maybe thats what triggered the 'glitch'.i force closed the game ten times, turned of the phone-nothing helped.
Ive contacted s8, but im not optimistic about this event anymore...thx kattkrazie.

Well...shoot. Should have waited for more info. I am not giving up another 30 living wood. 😥 The first 30 wiped me out and I have been slowly slowly plugging away at my fairy bulb. As of today, I only have 7 left. Level 3 upgrade is not happening. I will be interested to see what drops etc people get.

When you reach the goal to purchase the dressing room, the fabric will start dropping. Sorry, but I didn't have time when I was rushing through this on Friday to write out the goals like I usually do. Too much going on for the holidays.

Also, in later chapters, the rocks will start dropping glimmerstacios, so don't overchop rocks either looking for too many bells or you'll be wasting energy on those as well.

For those players wondering about Lara not looking like a ballerina, her toes hurt and she doesn't particularly like dancing ballet. So we rulers make her a stage manager and hire a proper ballerina who is on the stage once you upgrade to level 10. That ballerina has a bun, tutu, and is en pointe. Lol.

Be sure to keep collecting from the 10 min. dressing room even after you have enough fabric for your current chapter. I was always waiting on the fabric for each upgrade.

I don't see an option to buy a second dressing room for coins. The gem one is the only one available for me.
I'll go look again in case I missed it.

Adding: I found my other dressing room. It was hiding behind some winter gates. I guess when I went to purchase, it went to the first open area that would fit. I thought it had been sent back to the market.
I was thinking I had fallen victim to a glitch.
I'm glad to have 2 dressing rooms.

I also have not been keeping track of goals. Some auto-completed so fast , they were gone almost before I knew what they were. This will not help much.

Chapter 9 has 5 goals.
Goal 1: Spread the word to 50 Community Kingdoms
Goal 2: Collect 20 Recital Tickets from Neighbors

Goal 3 was gone before I realized what it was, so it was giving something I had in my inventory
Goal 4, I think had to do with giving Truffles.
Goal 5 would be upgrading the Theatre to Level 9.

Sorry for the sketchiness of this.

A hint to save 2/3 the energy in collecting the white petals for making Living Wood. I needed so much living wood for the Fairie Sap 7 for the next level 4 of the Farrie Bulb. I set a goal of making 4
Iceland Poppy Shrub (12 white petals , 3 from each shrub) saving 8 energy. This will help to use up wood that is collected in any event or goal. You will still need to collect from Iceland Poppy for certain future game event(s) to collect single white petals. Shrubs can't be used as in past events. I use Well water since it has 5 minute collection and the shrub is 3 minute collection. My way of making Living Wood in the Potion Shop. Each shrub takes 1 day in the Arboretum.

Supernumerary Puppets - 1 Protagonist Suit, 3 Ballet Shoes, 2 Glimmerstachios
Antagonist Ensembles - 3 Ballet Shoes, 6 Petticoat Pants, 1 Top Hat

These are some things that you will have to craft in the future. Everything is pretty manageable. The bells and ribbon use a lot of energy. I have not been able to concentrate on the Skunkumouse as the Top Hats are needed for other items. Sorry I cannot be more specific.

For me in later stages the most painful was getting enough slippers(which are used for Puppets and antagonist) and only drop from 2 hour nutcracker(drops from 2-4 slippers each collection)... Expanding this and looking back at level 6-10, you'll want to be sure to collect from Nutcracker every 2 hours starting in chapter 6 and also while waiting for the next chapter so you can get ahead for the later chapters... You don't have enough time on later chapters to collect all the slippers you'll need for the crafts.

Obviously, Goal 4 is to upgrade the Theatre in the Round to Level 10.
Upgrade to Level 10: 5 Antagonist Ensembles, 2 Protagonist Siuts, 3 Supernumerary Puppets, and 30 Rich Fabrics.

Yes, you will need more suits. See post #195 above. However, Katt advised earlier in the thread to not max out on ribbons, because we will also need to chop the gift piles to collect petticoat pants for later chapters, so the ribbons will add up then.

I saw something about two dressing rooms for coins in the game. I bought one, checked my gem total, verified the second dressing room was still available for coins, bought it, and checked my gem total again. Just coins, as advertised!

I think S8 did a really good job with the dressing room purchase... the two for coins were separate from the one for gems.

Hi,

@SpiritWind, for the first page: I can confirm that the first goal of Chapter 6 is to place the Nutcracker. It?s called Glimmercracker though. I think it was 500 coins, but not entirely sure if that. You can purchase a second one for 150 gems. I didn?t. I hope I?ll manage with one.

EDIT, more info for page 1: The dancing shoes are indeed called ?Dancing Shoes? and as far as I can see, they don?t drop from rock outcroppings, but solely from the glimmercracker (nutcracker).

@alex: yes I know... but I'm afraid I charge extra for that info! lol Ok, just kidding, they drop from the Skunkumouse at chapter 7. Keep refreshing page 1 as I'm adding more and more info all the time.

Top Hats drop from fighting the Skunkumouse. Collecting from farmhouses spawns the Skunkumouse.

Yes, you will need more suits. See post #195 above. However, Katt advised earlier in the thread to not max out on ribbons, because we will also need to chop the gift piles to collect petticoat pants for later chapters, so the ribbons will add up then.

If you started the event straight away, then the petticoat pants are now dropping so unless I?ve missed something you should be ok for making all the protagonist suits you want?!! Please anyone let me know if I?ve got this wrong.

Well it was also said that rocks start dropping something else. I?m making some suits in advance anyway since it looks to me that there is still a lot to make afterwards.
That way I use the time between chapters, I mean I don?t complete the chapter even if I have the resources for upgrading and keep making some suits and collecting fabric and so on before I upgrade the theater around the time where my new chapter starts.
But I?m not going to invest energy sources like alicorn, trade exchanges, the elixir from the greenhouse or similar into chopping just for having the storage maxed on ribbons or bells because I understood that that might be pointless if the rocks and presents drop more stuff later.
So that?s the way I took the advice, some crafting in advance is certainly not too bad, too much collecting in advance might not do actual harm but might be in vain and energy can be used for other stuff.

Yes. More protagonist suits in 6+ levels. Read back to #195, still catching up in forum. At least 8-10 more suits...

Should have read a few more posts first... Shib. has metrics of all items up for us.

So she?s just decoration, is that the way it is? Good to know. I like the event for now and I?ll keep collecting and crafting everything, but if it doesn?t work out towards the end, I won?t desperately spend gems or so to complete it. Not entirely sure if it is worth 15 golden eggs after all, but the rest is ok and fun, and eggs will eventually be back in a couple of months of regular play.
(I?m not giving any golden stuff to those greedy elves though, until I?ve stocked up on it).

First off, thank you SO much for all the people who gather, post, & compile information for these. They have been super helpful to me for a long time.

I didn't see this information, so please forgive me if I missed the post somewhere ... but I like to break down the raw "normal game" resources in addition to the "event specific" ones. The chart that Shibuya Cloth put up appears to be just for the "event specific" ones. : )

Check your goal book again and check if your game rolled back. If you're goal book says you're up to goal 4 in ch 6 (which I'm guessing you're up to), force close your game. Can you post if it worked or not please. thanks.

I’m on chapter 3 of goal 7. Every time I fight a monster my game resets and I have to start all over.
This is still happening. Every fangbeast and skunkumouse. Getting old!!!

Just now got last golden egg and am fast trying to catch up, but the huge amount of energy may be my doom

Gonna regret using 15 gold eggs if I can’t finish

Improved a great deal now. 4 out of 16.

But I lost game music now. Not sure if it is my issue. Closing and re-opening not helping so far.

According to Shibuya chart, we need a total of 24 top hats. I'm going to try to get all those in one day. Hopefully that will make things easier for the busy days ahead.

To access chapter 2, I have to wait 12 and a half hours, or pay 20 gems to start now ��check post 1 to get pointers on how storybook events work. IMO it might be worth the 20 gems to keep going. Do not build your stage so that you can keep your chapter open and this way you can keep collecting.
Adding: in some way, that doesn't seem right that you have to wait on chapter 2. Didn't the book automatically start Sat or Sunday? I'll have to go back and take a closer look at that. Maybe someone else has some thoughts or advice.
Adding again: I could not find an auto start date.

So you should still have 9 days to finish? This is why I don't like to give advice. I add confusion instead of clarity.

I have 10 farmhouses out and spawned 3 fangbeasts and 0 skunkimouse! This is going to take forever at this rate! Come on S8 give us a break, it's Christmas time!

Info for first page my skunkumouse pet requires 88 gems to speed up its almost a day collection time (22 hours) and I got a black flag for tomatoes :/. Happy Holidays everyone. :)

Sometimes in these Storybook events, there will be a day or two where a specific resource doesn't drop during that day (as it isn't needed for the upgrade that day).

It looks like Rich Fabric isn't needed for day 7, will it continue to drop from the dressing room that day? How about the dancing shoes?

Day 7 doesn't seem to need shoes either, will they continue or drop? The only additional day 7 item seems to be the top hats. Are they easy to gather?

Can anyone advise me? I am thinking about waiting to upgrade, so I can continue to collect fabric and shoes.

It seems the fangbeasts are in maximum occurrence for me as well.

The pettycoat pants rate seems pretty high. For me, about 60% of chops or 6 pants in a present stack.
