Disappearing Items

At least 3-4 times this week, I have purchased an item, only to have it disappear (along with the coins I paid for it) when the game "refreshes". Does this happen to anyone else? It is infuriating.

Sounds like part of your progress is not saving to the servers. When you enter the game after being away, make sure you visit a neighbor to give your game time to sync with the servers.
