Royal Feast Goal (earn up to 4000 King's Pendants) - 2017 Nov 17

A lot of you guys have probably already seen this goal, but I thought I'd post about it on the forum as well, just in case. It's easy to miss as there are way too many icons to scroll through in the sidebar...

This is a good opportunity to earn King's Pendants for those who haven't had much luck with breeding the limited time animals. Part 1 gives you 1200 King's Pendants, and Part 2 gives you 2800. Part 1 is easy peasy, although Part 2 can only be completed at the expense of food production, as you'll be planting Spell Melons nonstop throughout the duration of the goal (it expires in four days). However, 2800 is 14% of the total needed for the Fairy King, which is nothing to sneeze at. So if you really want the Fairy King and 14% will make or break it for you, it's worth doing it!

Actually - best goal so far - since yeah, it is annoying , and some people will hate it since it makes impossible to store more food during leaderboard - but this goal is actually POSSIBLE!

I thought of it after I’d already gotten 12/15 (because I didn’t notice the goal until then), haha. But at that point it wasn’t really worth it, especially as I was planting the charm cherries anyway.

Second part is harvest 60 spell melons. But each harvest is worth only 1, not per hour. Is that correct? That leaves barely any time to finish the goal... 5 hours per spell melon, average 3 per day due to sleeping is 15 per day and we need 60 so exactly 4 days which is the length of the goal...

Easy to complete if you asked me. 11 days for this quest from the start. If you only plant and harvest Spell Melons ones each day (6 farms, 6 Melons) you can complete it in 10 days. One day left.

You only have 4 days....not 11.

Yes, it's counted by harvests, not hours. If you harvest once on one of the two partial days (Friday or Tuesday) and three times per day from Saturday thru Monday, you can complete the goal without having to spend gems or wake up in the middle of the night.

Friday: 6
Saturday: 18
Sunday: 18
Monday: 18
Tuesday: 6
Total: 66

If you come up short, remember that you can always speed up Spell Melons for 10 gems per crop. It may feel painful to have to speed up Spell Melons, but depending on how many crops you have left to complete this goal, you can still end up with a good deal. 2800 pendants would cost you 280 gems if you try to earn them through speed breeding.

like I have managed like 24 in first day. 6 farms 5 hours. ..so you can perhaps manage like 3-4 per day. ( 3x 6 = 18 per day..or 4 x 5 = 20 per day)...
using 6 farms it should be possible with like 3 days...if you plant at least 4 times per day.

You can if you plant the melons overnight as well instead of 8 hours mangoes. You can sleep for 9 hours.

Midnight to 9am - zzz
9am - 1st collection (except for first day)
2pm - 2nd collection
7pm - 3rd collection
Midnight - 4th collection (plant melons)

72 points in 3 days with an extra day to spare.

Me too, I am happy with this goal to get more pendants because I don't have enough gems to speed breed regularly.

Ugh, I didn't even notice this goal until now. So much for that. We're on goal overload right now. There are so many challenges going on I'm finding it impossible to keep up.
