What is the purpose, use etc of XP. I get a lot of it but have no clue what it is good for.

Hi M2Y3VJU! You earn XP from every room, although some offer more XP per daub than others. Generally, the higher level the room is unlocked, the more XP it offers. A Special Room that unlocks at level 6 would offer roughly the same XP as a Classic Room that unlocks at level 6. Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Classic Rooms
Room 1 (Mediterranean Avenue/Old Kent Road): 2 XP
Room 2: 2-3 XP
Room 3: 3-4 XP
Room 4: 4-5 XP
Room 5: 5-6 XP
Rooms 6+: 6-7 XP
Royal Flush Casino and beyond: 7-8 XP

Special Rooms
Fast Five Railroad: 4-5 XP
Dozen Daub Railroad: 4-5 XP
Billionaire Bank Run: 4-5 XP
Cozy Cabin: 4-5 XP
Autumn Harvest: 4-5 XP
Tycoon Toys: 4-5 XP
Ski Lodge: 4-5 XP
Sweetheart Bakery: 4-5 XP

If you are playing a room that has the Bet Modes feature, then Double Up will yield 2x XP and Mega Mogul will yield 3x XP.
