(If you follow goal steps exactly, and assuming I didn't write something down wrong or miscalculate, you spend $680,770. You make $132,270 from prizes & selling the food--but we lost the image for the Leaf of Faith goal, so I assumed it had a prize of $3335. I'm sure it doesn't, but it made my final number even, and it's probably not too far wrong--it's between the $3300 and $3700 step prizes.)

I admire all of your enthusiasm and energy, but is anyone else feeling a bit dispirited by the back-to-back goals? Even those of us at level 99 and with many ovens haven't finished the last goal!
The timing is also cruel. Just when we feel it's safe (8PM for me) to dutifully gift everyone with parts to stock up after depleting their supplies...WHAM! New goals, new parts. No chance to build up coins, parts, etc.
I'm tired of jumping through hoops for tables, chairs, decos, and prizes I already have or don't want. I'm tired of cooking recipes that cause me a net loss. I'm tired of scrolling through 93 items to find the one my neighbour needs as a gift, so I can give her 2.
I have loved this game for many years, and I have made friends I'll never forget. But I'd rather skip a goal and just fill requests and visit with my neighbours than to go through this endless collecting of parts.
And, just for the record, I think the side goals are absurd!
There! I've said it, and I'm glad. It is, after all, my birthday.

Yes, the back-to-back goals are too much. I never know when to gift people. By the time the Goal arrived & I sent my gifts, 22 neighbors were already maxed.

I never know if I can buy an oven and request parts. This whole "There Might Be A Goal" thing interferes with playing normally.

I'm kind of over all these goals. After Christmas, I'm going to start skipping some.

If they want constant goaling, the do those little side goals in between big ones.

It is really beginning to make the game more chore, less fun.

LOL! Happy Birthday ! and for the record, I agree with a lot of what you said, although I do like having goals to do on a regular basis and the new decor/new recipes or the old decor that I never had a chance to get. It'd just be nice for them to give us at least a week between them. The sneak attack method of giving us goals without us expecting them is ...weird. and last but not least, please give us goals where we actually make a profit! It hurts my feelings to make 9 hour dishes that make 300 servings. lol :confused::(

By the way, love the neon turkey! reminds me of the thanksgiving day parade in NYC :)

Gobble up cupcakes - 2 hours
Bacon roasted turkey -5 hours

Do you think there will be a side goal to make them? Then I don't have to make them now.

android (excluding last year) got new versions from time to time, and had to download them to get access to related stuff :)

you can only get 20 helps per day. first 20 people answered yr request yesterday, then nobody more gets it until server goes another day. now, other people keep getting yr y'day request. 11 of them already answered. so, it cd easy be that many others just put recipes to cook and went to sleep :)

Oh, varenyki is tasty one to try ))) it is actually pasta, but unlike ravioli, the dough contains also clabber (or other sour-milk product that i dont think is easy to find, however its very popular in ex-ussr. Named "kefir", i found various translations like "cultured buttermilk" or so...), and kinda baking powder - it makes the dough not thin and smooth like in ravioli, but kinda fluffy.
They can be filled with mash potatoes, stewed cabbage, or mincemeat. They can also be sweet, usually with cherries, or strawberries, or blueberries (+sugar of course).
Meat varenyki, unlike russian pelmeni, are made with the meat first boiled/baked, and only then grounded, and mixed with fried onion. Pelmeni are filled with fresh meat grounded.
There are also various potato varenyki recipes. Ive seen in the web, that our expats are adding cheese, sour cream, etc, but never seen it here: originally, couple of centuries ago, we didnt have such products here. Usually they filled with potatoes that was first boiled, then mashed and mixed with onion fried with bacon or with sunflower oil. But i love the best those my granny made: when fresh potatoes milled with grater (like cheese for pizza), then you scald it with boiling water, squeeze it, and then mix with fried onion and/or finely sliced fried mushrooms. THAT is really good, "must-taste", lol ))))

This sounds very yummy. I have never ground cooked meat! Usually have the guys at the store grind my meat (literally their only shopper who requests this!), but I'll have to do this one in food processor.

I can make pasta, but usually American-type. I've done the thin & fluffy and have had some success (some failure) with it.

I know "clabber" as "kefir". :) It's so funny to me how, long before international ships were trading things on mass scale, people all over the world came up with the same stuff & called it different things. If they had the same animals, they all figured out the same stuff.

It's a small food world, after all!

This game is now stacked against newbies. You've made the game too hard. Make it fun, make it POSSIBLE and people will play. Too hard? They just quit.

I get that the goal is to force them to buy gems, but with nobody left, nobody will buy the gems and you'll be out of business.

AGAIN, I suggest cheap ovens for coins during goals & then (instead of discontinuing!), sell them for gems. This makes you money, let's players get them for coins if they want and makes you money in the end. And it won't make most newbies quit. All that changes is people get more and you make more money.

That’s the beauty of the side goals too, you don’t HAVE to do them because luckily they aren’t tied to the main goal like they do when they tie in the tournaments to storybook in FFS. It’s annoying lol

I'm finding it hard to understand why people are upset about side goals and prizes being swapped from other games? I think we have a chance to win many prizes! A goal for me isn't about just the end prize. A person has to decide if they want all the little prizes, not just the end prize. I like having many prizes so I can use more of my decorating ideas. I can remember, awhile back, reading ALOT of posts about people wanting the prize they got for BS available for their restaurants...... Well, now you have them and your still not happy! S8, I LOVE the back to back goals and the ability to win many prizes! Thank you

Having said that, what I do mind is no relief between goals.
You know the time you can start making profits back between goals.
So you will have the money to get SAID PRIZES, TABLES, CHAIRS, ETC, ETC...
Yes, it's a game, but even in a restaurant, bakery game,
why would you play it if you can not make a profit?

This entire goal has been fun & had great prizes. Best goal since I started playing. The cost was ridiculous, but it was a good goal.

It's in your basic oven. Autumn cake and Bacon roasted turkey- this time both are oven's. If it does not appear, try deleting and redownloading the app. Especially when u r using android. Some updates are applied afterwards. (I'm not sure your process will remain or not.. mine was okay.)

I admire all of your enthusiasm and energy, but is anyone else feeling a bit dispirited by the back-to-back goals? Even those of us at level 99 and with many ovens haven't finished the last goal!
The timing is also cruel. Just when we feel it's safe (8PM for me) to dutifully gift everyone with parts to stock up after depleting their supplies...WHAM! New goals, new parts. No chance to build up coins, parts, etc.
I'm tired of jumping through hoops for tables, chairs, decos, and prizes I already have or don't want. I'm tired of cooking recipes that cause me a net loss. I'm tired of scrolling through 93 items to find the one my neighbour needs as a gift, so I can give her 2.
I have loved this game for many years, and I have made friends I'll never forget. But I'd rather skip a goal and just fill requests and visit with my neighbours than to go through this endless collecting of parts.

I came here looking to see if anyone has mentioned this about the side goals, especially the current one. Full of Thanks: Part 3 just got underway for me and there are two days left. I'm at level 38 and have four leaf ovens and 4/12 cauliflower and asparagus tarts done plus six basic ovens working on the side goal. Come on! Extend the deadline.
