Is it possible that I actually got a required critter?? Are there any other five hour dark/nature combos that I don't know about? I just got a five hour timer on my very first attempt for the forest cat using Belle Fairy & CU. Being that I haven't been able to breed any of the necessary animals for months, I'm certainly not counting my kitties before they hatch.

You need to keep it in the nest. Hatching doesn't autocomplete, unfortunately.

For SB rewards I've had to close/open game after completing a mission just to "collect" crown reward, then close/open game AGAIN for amt to increase on fairy queen % so be sure to ck your % to see that the increase adds at each step. For tourny I've been able to collect after correct round, but need to still close/open game for % to count and add to total

I'd go to settings, apps, FFS clear cache and clear data (it's ok to clear data in this game all of your animals will reload slowly) then see if it corrects, if not contact support and hope they answer in time. Good luck

Happened to me. Force close the app and then look under storage -ALL. It was near the very end for me.

Don't think it worked that way. Only the hatching parts autocomplete. I should wait if I were you.

No. Goals like that one you cannot do in advance. You have to wait until that goal pops up. In my experience, only the animals you win from the storybook prizes can be hatched & fed early. That, and of course the stuff from the tournament linked to a SB (what is it this time? Autumn Stones?). Good luck to you and everyone! :)

I got lucky with the forest cat, I forgot we needed it for the storybook so I tried to breed it right away and got it on the first try and then was kicking myself because I remembered we needed it for the SB, LUCKILY they counted my first one and I didn’t have to breed another but now I have to try and get a sea lion in time.

So freaking bummed. I finally had a pretty good stash of food on both accounts and was looking forward to a leaderboard where I could feed my Ophiuchus to 15 on my main account and complete that goal/quest and feed my Concussive Canary to level 15 on my second account so that I can start getting 4 bombs per day, but my food supplies were just knocked out feeding the Fall Foal. Having to feed animals to such high levels and not being able to decide which animals I feed based on what I **want** to do is p!$$!ng my off. Plus we had to feed Crowvember to level 15. He was pretty at lower levels. Once he gets to level 15, his fall colors get all washed out. Like, what's the point of having a pretty animal and then washing out its colors???

I reluctantly spent the 75 gems to get past the forest cat goals, because after 5 or 6 tries I still didn’t have it... It’s NOT a common animal. I want the fairy and know I’ll be able to get it now, and also wanted the crowns for the fairy queen, so it was well worth it to me... just wish we could still watch videos for daily gems, or at least send and receive gems from more than three people :/ :/

I've been throwing weird stuff too with the crowvember breedings. The only thing I can come up with is the fall element is like a wild card and throws anything up. As I've bred animals with a different element that shouldn't have been there. A dark or fire etc. We usually can't breed the autumn/fall element. So that must be why the pairing is throwing random animals.

It's going to be bittersweet feeding her up. As she's so adorable as a baby, but she's gorgeous as an adult so I shall do it anyway. Besides, I need to breed her with my Fall Foal.

(Story time:
I shot myself in the foot when I woke up.
I was told to collect fairy dust from evolving. Unfortunately, my brain was anticipating a collect 5 feathers from the mine... I did that and came out and was confused to see it didn't complete. When I re-checked I snapped properly awake when I realised what I'd done.
I collected from my evo temple, and then went back into the mine with only 7 mines to collect 5 feathers with. We all know it's extremely hit and miss, and that 15 mines doesn't always yield 5 feathers. So I held my breath and mined like I'd never mined before... somehow the game was smiling on me, and I completed with the 7th mine I used.
Thank you S8 for not screwing me over, like I almost screwed myself over.)

The linking of tournaments is not fair to those of us who experience CONSTANT crashing problems. Bad enough the mine causes repeated crashes! Get rid of the culprit/cause - those annoying pop-ups for other games!!!!!

I think all in all, this has been one of the most enjoyable story book events I've completed. I love the side quest that gives an extra animal (Rapunzel in this case) and that hatching the extra also gives runes.

I'm happy to see the SB continue to use Runes as prizes during 2 of the 10 days.

Doing a tournament along side isn't usually a problem for me. It's extra incentive if I want the animal, and I happily stop playing the tournament when I hit my last milestone if I don't want the animal. But, I do think it can be a little unfair on players who struggle with tournaments, due to their level or their device crashing.

The SB had challenges here and there, and allowed for a logical strategy for some players who wanted to employ it. Although it had loads of breeding challenges, it wasn't EVERY day, or long breed schemes, so it meant I could actually try breeding new animals along side it (can't usually).

I've seen a few struggle to breed the new common animal. I wonder if it's a glitch, or game odds being skewed to create a challenge? Either way, I can see how that was irritating.
It took me two tries to breed the new animal, but I'm not belly-aching over only two attempts. Others have tried for up to 5 days as far as I've seen.

Saying that. I appreciate the introduction of new common animals to the forest. It feels like a little extra present. I especially like that some of them are permanent (at least for now). I wish the Forest Cat had also been on the poll, so I could have clicked that I LOVED it.

I enjoyed this event, for the foal and rapunzel! I am happy I finally got a fairy, but its kinda disappointing when i realize I missed the last one by barely anything besides my lack of gem having at the time.
I hope the next isnt impossible, as I cant wait for christmas and this yr is my first playing the game..i hope theyll release tons of cuties!
Howevr, I do feel as if odds in this game need to be remanaged in a way where the games winning and so are the players, I never can breed any goal animals, then this month I managed 2/4 but disappointed the cutest runs out the fastest..
I've also never won a tourney and im on 32...looks like its another BS pony ill be without.:'(

Overall I'm a fan of the evolution of the storybooks. One of my accounts did have an extremely hard time breeding the Forest Cat, and I'm going to have to spend varying amounts of gems in each of my accounts to complete the event. Mostly I'm okay with that this time, as I haven't been able to be quite as attentive to plan appropriately. Additionally, one of my accounts scored an Obsidian Cyclops fail, which I couldn't be mad about, even though it tied up my breeding den for a really long time. At least that account had already bred a Forest Cat when it happened.

I love November's animals. I love seeing new animals with both new elements and old elements. I'm so excited every time I can add a "new" element to my baby account. I would have liked an affordable habitat for the new Autumn animals, as my old ones are full. But 375 is too steep for any habitat, and especially a single-element one.

I'm happy to see the SB continue to use Runes as prizes during 2 of the 10 days.

Doing a tournament along side isn't usually a problem for me. It's extra incentive if I want the animal, and I happily stop playing the tournament when I hit my last milestone if I don't want the animal. But, I do think it can be a little unfair on players who struggle with tournaments, due to their level or their device crashing.

The SB had challenges here and there, and allowed for a logical strategy for some players who wanted to employ it. Although it had loads of breeding challenges, it wasn't EVERY day, or long breed schemes, so it meant I could actually try breeding new animals along side it (can't usually).

I've seen a few struggle to breed the new common animal. I wonder if it's a glitch, or game odds being skewed to create a challenge? Either way, I can see how that was irritating.
It took me two tries to breed the new animal, but I'm not belly-aching over only two attempts. Others have tried for up to 5 days as far as I've seen.

Saying that. I appreciate the introduction of new common animals to the forest. It feels like a little extra present. I especially like that some of them are permanent (at least for now). I wish the Forest Cat had also been on the poll, so I could have clicked that I LOVED it.

Agree with all of this. The thing with the tournaments is that you REALLY need to keep on top of it, and that can be tough for people in work or school all day. I could not get the forest cat and had to use gems to skip. No doubt it was purposely made hard to get. I LOVE the fall fairy.

If you already have Rapunzel, you
can try not hatching the 2nd Rapunzel but still get the Runes.
Make sure you fill all your nests(buy Pyro Pony eggs) before breeding Fall Fairy+Fall Foal to get 2nd Rapunzel egg.( If not, the 2nd Rapunzel egg will be placed on a nest by the program.)
After getting the 2nd Rapunzel egg,
just logoff & logon again, if your 1st Rapunzel is in a habitat, it should complete the Runes goal.
(This worked for the Little Red Pony side goal+Runes goal just recently)

I really liked this SB :) . Animals and habitat was beautiful and the event was affordable to everyone (unlike the last WE).
Now I hope they will give those who didn't get the Spring Fairy another chance to win the Fey Foal :(

I didnt get my points for the winter fairy cause this stupid thing didnt lasted until the end of my storybook I cant believe it. I hate it that we always have to check such stuff now - totally unfair in my opinion!!

Same here! What's up with that? I still have plenty of time to battle to get that last autumn stone, but you stopped the tournament early. That makes no sense. If you're going to do that, you should warn ppl somehow, or prorate the skip fee for the last part. Skipping seems like the only way to finish the storybook--but 100 gems? It should--at the very least--be based on how many of the 5 items you got. So if I got 4/5, the skip is 20 gems vs. 100. The way you've done it is unacceptable.

Thank you for extending the tournament. I saw the tournament was ending early so had fought and won level 15 just before it ended, but then when I got to the end of chapter 9 the win wasn't recorded. No rune prize 😟. Then you extended, I re-fought level 15, and got the runes! 😅

Didnt finish because just couldn't get the darn cat that was supposed to be common!! I tried to the bitter end to even get the Fall Foal but no.
I hate these random goals that, no matter how hard you work for the event, you still wont get there! And this has happened a lot for me lately ��
