Goody another animal most people will not be able to breed. When will they start giving people a fair go in this game. It is depressing trying for the same animal for 7 or 10 days and not getting it.

You don't need the Honey Bear until day 6, so no sense worrying if you don't have it yet. Plus it's a common. In the future we'll have Honey Bears coming out our ears like Hottweilers. The chihuahua dude is a Super Rare, like the Candy Horn, so may be difficult to get.

Usually the rare animal, Ichabod Crane, will follow food schedule D, so 96,600 apples, and Farmers Otter will follow food schedule E, or 138,325 apples for a total 234,985. However you only need to feed the Farmers Otter to level 14 so subtract 30,000 for a total of 204,985 apples. Plus what

Hi every one I did some quick math for storybook food reqt so enjoy the event.:o

The amt to raise Ichabot Crane from lv 1 -15 is 76,660 apples and framers otters from lv1-14 is 44,330, honeybear is 130 which all comes to total of 121,120 apples.

How can u say it is easy to hatch, some people breed for them the whole tales time and do not get them at all. I see this on the forum all the time, once the event is over you get them heaps.

I think I'm breeding it now. I'm using Paw Paw bear(13) and Ancient sloth(10). The breeding time says 12hours, but since I need honey bear for the story book, I wont take it out of the nest until I need it. First time I get it right to breed an animal during a storybook event. Was trying to get chihuacabra, but followed the advice and started trying for honey bear. Still hoping that I didnt waste money an a habitat I wont use since I never have luck getting the animals

Leave it in the nest! It won't count if you hatch it before.

That's weird. You breed dark/water (ichabot crane) with nature/fire (fairy ferret) how can you get a Crystal creature with 42 hour breeding time. The only 40+ timer possibilitie is a 45 Crystal Unicorn with that combo:confused:

Chapter six will unlock when I wake up in the morning so I went ahead and paused breeding for Chihuacabra, put an Earth creature in the nest (Rubble Rooster from a spin-to-win) and threw Rock Rhino and Pandafodil in the breeding den- Honey Bear first try, so my see-saw of luck continues.

Same happens to me before during breeding for the chichi. I was breeding with 2 dark/fire creatures, but it results in a Earth/Fire creature. Also weird if you ask me, but not as weird as yours:cool:. Nice on btw.

No since it's a new animal just having it counts, mine was off the nest because I placed it and quest auto-completed. If it was an old animal you'd have to wait to hatch when asked but the new animals count just having them same as sheepdog and hottweiler did. You will need to lvl honey bear so you can breed with for later quest

I am losing interest in Fantasy Forest because of the "chance" animal breeding.... for the last 4 or 5 times... I get the animal AFTER the event will expire.. I tried for the Candy Corn, non-stop and did not get it.. I have been trying for the Honey Bear and so far NO LUCK.... IF I don't get the Honey Bear for the time is up... I will stop playing the game... I think it is NOT good practice to have an event and the only way to get the animal is "BY CHANCE"... I feel that if the player breeds the proper animals to obtain that animal, then it should be given..

I have finished many SB until the last couple.. and it is all because of not getting the animal in time to qualify for the event..

IF this continues to be the way the game operates... I will spend my time playing other games..

The Honey Bear is not easy to hatch. I have had 4 plantlers and a grassquatch on my baby account and 3 plantlers on my old account that is at level 171. It can?t be all that common. Why are you making this so hard storm8? I don?t mind falling a day behind, or even two. I think I can catch up. But all these fails have me worried.

I just completed Chapter 7 and got the message that I'd just received the Farmer's Otter so I went into my storage to retrieve it to put it on the nest. I ALMOST put the Sea-Plant Otter (from the Rising Tides event) on instead. Except for its darker shade of green, the Farmer's Otter is completely similar to the Sea-Plant Otter :p

The extra prizes (food or Tricon Hats or both) appear randomly. I had to use 2 bombs to get 1 Tricon Hat in Chapter 2 but was really lucky and only needed 1 bomb to get 3 Hats in Chapter 7. I'm hoping I won't have to use 15 bombs in Chapter 10.

I am probably done with this story book now since I can't get past Honey Bear. I was doing well until I had to breed the Honey Bear. I have tried multiple times and still nothing.

That is bad luck for sure! Breed fire and nature to try and collect bombs. Fairy ferrets are only 3 hours and the other combos are 6. But it will allow you a better chance for any empty breeding area for step 8 when you need to breed the honey bear with the Ichibot. Good luck and I hope your luck changes!

Does anybody know if for those under level 30 Chapter nine requires Peamoth? For me I didn't have to breed Ichabod Crane w/Honey Bear specifically, just "any animal" but I did have to breed him w/ Rockodile so I was wondering if I should go ahead and try to breed the Peamoth?

I know you've been on here long enough to do this, but for the newbies-
Include the evolution time in the name of your critters so it's easy to find when you need a certain amount not hours. For example, Otto8, Foamy32, Vino10.
I also name any duplicates "Dup##" for when I need to make room. Keep the babies of duplicates, sell off the older ones,.

The Honey Bear is not easy to hatch. I have had 4 plantlers and a grassquatch on my baby account and 3 plantlers on my old account that is at level 171. It can?t be all that common. Why are you making this so hard storm8? I don?t mind falling a day behind, or even two. I think I can catch up. But all these fails have me worried.

Almondjoybar, I too have been unable to breed Chihucabra and the Candy Horn, but no for lack of trying
. I have a feeling 90% of the players didn't either. At least now we are getting 5 pumpkins per hour when breeding animals! You'd have to speed breed quite a few to catch up which I'm not going to do. Hopefully they will continue it the remainder of the month. I'm only at 8% and my black pumpkins are at 38%. I have failed the last 2 World Events and the last 2 Leaderboards I never hit the community prize level 2000. So sad. . . . And the icing on the cake is I keep losing my level 200 players for gifting gems :eek:

I just used 12 bombs in the mine to get my 3 hats!!!! I was getting 2 realm ruins per bomb but they just kept giving me food!!!! How am I ***a get 5 hats now for the last chapter?!?! This is really annoying me now. Stuck in tournament, can't get hats, some people cant breed common honey bear. What's going on?

I got lucky for the last chapter for the mining act. 6 bombs enough for the 5 parts. Completed SB. Horse on my nest. Happy with my first spooky (ghost) creature. It paid off buying the habitat. Good luck for those who are still trying

I'm thinking that too, I remember playing for fun and not thinking omg am I gonna get these rounds for tourney finished. More stressful then work!

I only have nine bombs. It's not even like I wasn't finding ruins. Last story book I had no problem finding them, but the tournament was horrendous. This time, I've finished round 30 (finally) but prob wont get hats. Why can't they make the odds easier?

I won all my opal pony rounds with lightning leopard or Alice - lightning. Maybe trying these again? Good luck, I really hope you finish!! :)

I'm happy to report that I have finished. :D. My Lightning Leopard finally took down the round 30 opal pony And I found enough hats with seven (or was it eight) bombs.

Finished this event but as I feared, it took 10 Bombs to get the 5 Tricon Hats, even though I was getting 2 and 3 hits per bomb. The first 2 bombs netted me 3 hats but the next 7 after that gave me nothing but food. Then with my tenth and final bomb, I got 3 hits and all were hats so I ended with an extra hat.

It was a close thing too, otherwise, I'd have to wait 8 hours for a breeding to be done to get one more bomb and if that didn't yield the needed hats I'd have to use gems to get bombs if I wanted to complete this event.

It should auto - force close the app. And re open it - fixes many problems of that kind.

I finally bred Honey Bear with 36 hours to complete the rest of the SB Acts.
I spent lots of Gems on speed hatching, breeding and evolving.
Currently on Act 3 of Chapter 10. I will have to speed up some evolving, about 6 Gems worth to give me 20 minutes to get the 5 Hats from the mines.
Not happy with breeding this "common" animal but it is the 3 failed breed out of the last 5 SB but I did want the final prize so use of my limited supply of gems was the only way. I will not invest real money in this game with the current set up and the route S8 has decided to go down.

Just force-close the game and restart it. You'll automatically get the tricks.

I was lucky for it to go smoothly this time round. There were only a couple of sticky tasks for me. I worried it wouldn't go well, as I've had a busy couple of weeks.

I loved the Sleepy Hollow theme... erm, I mean Drowsy Hollow. The habitat has a beautiful atmosphere, too. One of my favourite things growing up was the old Disney cartoon version of Sleepy Hollow. Well done all who worked on this SB, and made it spooky but cute at the same time.

Got Horsemans steed in the evo flower now, I actually started the SB earlier than I usually would after seeing the Red's Return and Realm Rune tasks. It really made me try harder for the tasks, and wanted to make sure I had plenty of time at the end of the SB to collect the two extra prizes. I am always happy to see realm runes. Always.

Also, thank you to whoever it was who adjusted up the time allowed to complete the 'get this animal if you breed these two from the story book' tasks. As the first time it was done, it was very almost impossible (especially as I was a later starter on the first SB it was included in).

I had to spend a bunch of gems, but I managed to finish the storybook quest in the nick of time. I had to skip the Peamoth breeding, as I don?t have one, and I had to speed up evolving and leveling a bunch of times. I was lucky to get to level 30 in the tournament to get that last feather.

Voted. I enjoyed this event. I had all the required creatures we need so it was easy to complete, but I wasn't if we had the chapters list from post #1. So everyone who participated to finish before the SB ended, thanks for your head start. It was very helpful. Without all of you, I don't know how we all can complete on time.

I enjoyed it :) I had all the required animals and was able to breed the Honey Bear so I was able to finish. I only like the otter and steed. Will probably delete Ichabod and the Honey Bear when I run out of room. My favorite part of the event was being able to get Little Red and then 24 ruins!

I really liked we had this autumn event, but didn't enjoy it like 50% of the poll. The highest score. I diligently play in a timely fashion but couldn't complete the event. Couldn't breed the honey bear til day 8, which by then was moot because I didn't have a peamoth. I'd saved food and bombs and everything evolved. If you are making these events based on breeding specific animals, then the probability for a common (in this case honey bear) needs to be doable. And if we have to breed these animals to old random ones (peamoth), make it an easy breed for. I felt especially bad at this event because I loved the candy corn ram, ADORED the pumpkin kitty and scarecrow and thought the steed looked awesome. All I ended up with was a crane and cowboy otter and harvest mouse. I did buy the farm (like autumn themed habitats) and the Spooky arcane lab but have no ghost beasts to put in. I get challenges, you can't be lucky and breed everything or earn everything especially without spending gems, making a storybook this hard is a big minus.

Re: poll: I'm surprised at some of the results. I was surprised that so many people liked Ichabod Crane - I mean, I like him, but he's a skinny fellow, and we already several other cranes. BTW it is ICHABOD, not Ichabot. Just like in the Legend of Sleepy Hollow - the fellow's name was Ichabod, not Ichabot.
I was also surprised that more people didn't like the Honey Bear. I thought everyone loved teddy bear types.
Personally, I "really" like the Farmer's Otter, although I guess that otters aren't actually green. I am a rancher's daughter, so maybe I connected with that one more.
