I sent all my invites this morning cause I wasn't sure whether we would get goals today. I've gotta wait until morning to receive mine. Guess we just have to cook the new recipes and wait..

Why are the new recipes being shown on the regular ovens? And if we cook them do we get credit for them when the goal arrives probably not I don't want to start cooking and then have to restart once I get in my oven.

I really resent people calling the players that didn't receive the goals "chronic complainer" we have a legitimate issue with the game and we'd like to have it resolved. If we were one of the lucky ones that actually got the goals the last two weeks I'm sure we wouldn't be here voicing our issues.

Opened my bakery had a pop up pushed ok clipboard on left side popped up so i opened it and it says 0 goals... Getting request for parts but i have no goal.

Yes i tried that but i had a problem on the last goal too. But s8 was fast to get it back up so hope it gets fixed soon

I absolutely agree, and this is coming from someone who has the witches stove and all three recipes on RS already. However I?m happy to get to add these cupcakes to my bakery and I like the black color of the stove better than the brown.
Deanna?s desserts: I don?t think she is referring to people complaining about not having the goal I?m normally an Android user so the frustration is completely understandable not receiving this goal or the last at the same time as IOS. I THINK she was referring to the ones who just never have anything positive to say about the goals, EVER.

I had no trouble getting the previous goals but this new one isn't showing for me either. I on a Kindle Fire OS and this is the first time I've had this problem.

I have many neighbors who haven't received the goal yet and I feel terrible about that, but I was referring to the players that play both games and complain when Storm8 uses recipes & ovens from Restaurant Story in goals for Bakery Story. I'm sorry if I offended you, the people that haven't received the goal yet aren't the people I meant.

OMG! Love this goal, the candy pumpkin is adorable. Glad to finally see something related to day of the dead even if it's just a recipe.

My thoughts on this new Halloween goal:
The wallpaper and tile look new to me. The table, chair, & counter look recycled.
For the oven, I can't tell if the actual design is recycled or not; but 2 out of the 3 cupcakes look new. The first recipe looks recycled. For the drink maker, the actual design looks recycled. The first recipe looks new and the other 2 look recycled.
All 3 of the prizes and the Ghost Statue look new! They also look great in my opinion. The final prize is 1x1 but that's ok because there's the Peculiar Potion table which is nice and big.
Overall! I'm really happy with this goal!! Who else is?

No, we don't get "credit" for baking them.
they're just limited time recipes so.. if you're able to master them you get the gems & more Halloween food to serve 😊😊😊
But I'd love to be able to bake it whenever I wanted to!

So cool! The only thing I'm disappointed about is that the witchy witch costs gems :( I was planning on buying several as soon as I saw her but now my hopes are crushed. That's actually my favorite prize in the goal! I always love to get new characters! I also like the side goal piano! The only problem now is fitting it all in my tiny bakery. As it is I already have a lot of Halloween stuff in storage but in any case, thanks s8 for listening to our requests and releasing a Halloween themed goal just in time :D everything is so spooktacular!

It's really great that they're incorporating the special pumpkin cookies and candy corn coffee to get the side goal prize! Very in line with the theme! How cute are those pumpkin cookies eh?? But how I wish that it's not a limited time recipe! Maybe if we master the recipes we can keep them?? Win-win?? Yes?? :D

Gotta admit: that Sugarskull Cupcake was really well-done, even for a recolor. Can't really say about the other two recipes though.
And for some reason I can't see the pictures of the 2nd appliance that Bakerling posted.
The decor (not table&chair) are really nice. Happy baking everyone :)

The witchy witch final prize is just meh, and the potion counter is EXACTLY the same I have in Fashion story which I got from a chest, and i do not lile it that much. The same with the cat floor, and The haunted piano, everything is reclycled from fashion story, which I already have.
But I do love the new recipes at least...

A lot of items are recycled. I don't play fashion story or restaurant story but even if I did, it doesn't really matter. At the moment it seems like we get either recycled stuff or nothing! I love playing bakery story and I'm quite happy with the recycled if it means that the game doesn't die. Maybe we should have a poll with 2 options. What would you rather have, recycled or nothing. I'm pretty sure which one would come out top!

1st I thought this was a re-released Goal 'coz both the applications recipes were familiar but now looks like new goal with recycled recipes from RS. First application recipes are from Monster Oven and the other is too (not sure from with application).
Well I'm happy to have this Goal as I never gotta chance to cook these recipes but had always wished to.

Not that crazy about the prizes (although they're way better than some past halloween prizes, so I'm not unhappy with them either), but man, that food is adorable! Especially the sugar skull cakes and the boo-sy drink! The pump cake is actually my least favorite, I like him better green (in RS).

Did you buy them when you got thegoal to buy them? If you bought them before that then you will have to buy them again.

I don't have them yet. Have been making the candy corn coffee (basic drink machine) & the pumpkin cookies (basic oven) to master them before they disappear. But I don't have side goal. I'm a little concerned that the ones I've been making won't count toward goal when it shows up and I will have wasted some cooking time where I could have been cooking other items that need to be mastered & will have to cook these to complete side goal after I've already mastered them. Make any sense or am I talking in circles?

I bought them after the goal for them popped up.
No idea why they haven't counted then. I think you're going to have to buy 2 more. If they don't count then you'll need to either get in touch with storm8 or one of the mods. Good luck.
With the goals, when it says to have an item then you can have bought it before the goal pops up.
If it say to buy an item, then you have to buy it. Ones you have previously bought will not count.

Just enjoy it, people! It's a Halloween theme like everyone had asked for and it's still the beginning of Oct, so I'm pretty sure that you'll still have plenty of time to dish out all those spooky-full recipes and display your dusty decor! :)

Once you've unlocked the third recipe on the first appliance and completed the goal (usually serving 15 or 20? of it - it varies), the second appliance will then be unlocked. The main goal normally have 2 appliances, which unlocks as you progress through the goal steps.
The side goal will be unlocked once you've unlocked the second appliance. It has the same time line as the main goal even if it says it's "not related". So you've gotta do both at the same time, IF you wish to participate. Some players don't as they already have the items. Some do (like me!) as it's usually a pretty nice prize, and you can't get it on the market tab unless S8 releases it again (which could be never). The side goal usually requires loads of cooking of long hours recipes on the basic ovens and drink machines, and it's the main reason why a lot of players feel frustrated about it.
For me, once I've unlocked the side goal, I will breathe a little sigh of relief lol.
Anyway, just take it easy and play! :) I'll suggest stocking up on the parts required so you can build the second appliance straightaway tho!

6 - gears, 6 - iron ingots, 10 - witches brew.
It's odd that you can't open the box to see it tho. Did you exit the market tab and tap on the box? There will be a blue pop up saying "tap to manage" and from there you can see the parts needed to build it.

Ah sorry, I overlooked your question about the pop ups on new recipes. You can find the pumpkin cookies on the basic oven and candy corn coffee on the drink machine. You can choose to cook them or not, but like the pop up says, it's a limited time recipe so once the date passes, it's gone. You can master them to get gems - you have to keep cooking them until the bar below the recipe goes to level 4. You'll get 2 gems per recipe. Those gems come in handy when we get sales to purchase some nice decor. :)

Thanks for the info. The side goal finally did pop up AFTER I started with 2nd appliance & sadly AFTER I have mastered both new recipes. I had ovens, was still waiting for new parts for new ovens so I just kept baking new recipes so I wouldn't miss mastering them and keeping them on my ovens/drink machines. Now I have to go back and cook more after I've mastered as those I've cooked didn't count. For an upper level player like myself, a bit of a waste to spend extra $ on cooking items already mastered to receive gem rewards for mastering.
Thanks to those who posted next set of recipes/amounts in the side goal. At least I can get a head start on those:)

every so often, they put some of the old discontinued favorite recipes back on the original ovens for a shirt time so we can male them again. they usually only do this on holidays like Halloween. it gives ghe people who dont want to do the goals a chance to have some extra fun too. They will reopen some of the discontinued appliances occassionally like this too so those. of us who want to. make more can. :)

does that "peculiar potions" prize have recipes? I keep seeing the posted pictures of recipes that appear to come right after the peculiar potions reward and I'm not sure what device is making those recipes... very confusing!!! I'm talking about the 3 recipes that contain "Boo-sey Delight" and "Seers Sunday".

The only reason I'm asking is because some of the pics posted looks like we should have already had to do that along with visit & tip neighbors.

If you have already bought chairs and tables the goal won't ask to buy you again... as it happened to me! I bought the chairs and tables before the goal asked me to so I guess it counts.

Anyways I like this goal, can't get over the candy pumpkin being so cute. Good one S8! :)
This goal prize doesn't fit this goal in my opinion. It's just so small and it's a witch. It seems cheap to me since we are spending money for this goal. In the future I hope we don't get these kind of cheap small prizes at the end.

Just finished the side goal and main goal a little while ago and now working on mastering the candy corn coffee and pumpkin cookies. I have to agree it was a little weird to have the witch as the final prize however I?m so happy with the pumpkin candy and potion stand and piano prizes I don?t mind the final prize. I really liked this goal, I was a little worried I?d be let down by the Halloween goal but that was not at all the case. Hopefully they keep this up for Thanksgiving and especially Christmas. Good luck to everyone still working on the goals.

Loved this goal.
The witch is small for a final prize, but she's cute and there was a lot of great stuff in this goal. Maybe it's better to leave the smaller things for last. That way, newbies can get some bigger decorations early & don't miss out entirely if they can't finish the goal in time. Nobody has to go all the way to the end, so okay on that.
TIMING was so much better!! I hate it when we can't finish the goal until after the holiday has passed. This way, we can have the stuff for the holiday. Well done there!!
The piano is nice. And it's BIG! I love-live-LOVE the pumpkin full of stuff.

i'm almost finished too but that's because I chose to master the pumpkin cookies before starting the side goals. :) I have 22 oven slots so it goes by pretty quickly for me too.

I don't think I'll be able to finish all the goals in time. I'm a noob and tried to do all the goals all at once -- even the regular ones. LOL. Basically, I didn't prioritize.
I only have 8 slots for appliances, and trying to run all for the espresso and candy corn coffee. Still have that boundless realm to do, haven't even bought the pumpkin yet (ran out of coins earlier lmao). You guys think I can finish in time? :(

I love the sugar skull food! Also I find it easier coming here to see goals that people had complete with pictures, it makes if easier for me to plan ahead and get on top of things :)

If you’re on iOS and have the option to watch a video to double your coins for 2 hrs I would definitely have that boost going as much as possible

My opinion on this goal is that it was very fun! I love that it was Halloween themed and that the side goal was also Halloween themed. Thank you so much for the update, S8!

You guys think I can finish in time? :(I honestly don't think newbies can finish these goals. They're way expensive, coin-wise, and heavy on parts. You need a bunch of good neighbors and a ton of coins, which newbies just don't have.
But I wish all newbies luck.
Some people quit because the goals are too expensive, but hang in there. Eventually, you'll be able to finish them.

well it's been 14 days since last set of goals, who knows? maybe we might get another goal or a 5 day slot goal or maybe we will get goals next week. goals usually appear tuesdays so keep eyes open until later today

I think the next set of goals may be thanksgiving themed? Canadian thanksgiving was not too long ago and American Thanksgiving is coming up....

NOOOOOO! darn it.
i knew i wasn't going to finish the goals in my 3rd bakery, and was fine with that, i like natasha & her cauldron better than the new witch anyway, but i thought i could get the potions table, and i skipped the last couple sundaes with gems but i forgot i needed to buy tables & chairs to get the potions table! i was seriously maybe 5 seconds slow.
sigh. oh well.
i'm hoping for more halloween! thanksgiving is a whole month away. (i know, not Canadian, but they've never paid any attention to that one before, so i doubt they'll start now.)

it won't be thanksgiving goals as we got another month for it. it's probably either 1) another halloween goal 2) old released ovens 3) 5 day goal for witches couldron. another week to guess

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this goal. The only two suggestions I have are the required parts are still a little high and I wouldn’t have us request ungiftable parts right before we unlock the second appliance.

I love seasonal recipes but the final goal prize was totally not worth 35 gems. Also gutted that we can't get another spooky piano from side goal.

positives
the side goal was great. the allotted time fit the recipe cook times. the final prize was interesting and big.
negatives
for the main goal, there are still too many new parts for the goal appliances. (why can't we go back to basic parts? the gift list is getting so huge.) goals should be fun not a job lol. if we want to finish within the allotted time, we need less parts to build more ovens for recipes we don't yet know will take how long when we're mid-challenge. it's difficult to plan. i play daily but that doesn't mean my neighbors do. so i've to wait on them to build ovens and that's out of my hands.
thanks a lot for asking for our feedback on different aspects of the game. i like where this game is going. :)
