I sped thru about 4-6 5hr Rainguin fails with Saphire Cthulhu LVL 15 + Granite Golem LVL 15 & just got an 8hr timer. Fingers crossed its the Rainboa😳

Edit: I've gotten continuous 8hr Iciclaw. Ugh. Still trying. Just got 16hrs. Hopefully it's River Runner I don't have, but I really want Rainboa. Time is running out😱😨

Edit: After about 200 gems in speed breeding Sea Monkey & Morroccan Gazelle fails, I switched to Pearl Peyton & Granite Golem & got Rainboa on 4th try, FINALLY 😝
(It was worth it since I got the River Runner & Rainboa less than what they would have cost in the shop)

just switched to Sapphire Sphinx and Obsidian Cyclops and got 8 hours second try. Just saw it could also be iciclaw, tempted to speed it up with gems but will be disappointed if it is iciclaw.

I am so sick of Rainguins. It's taken me six or seven tries to get an 8 hr breed. It'd better at least be Iciclaw, I need one to complete the water creature quest anyways. Hoping it's a Rainboa but who knows?

My Rock Rhino and Frostfang have literally been in the breeding den for over a week, poor babies.

I'm not sure if you are asking a question or not. You can use any combination of animals that includes rock and water - it doesn't have to be Frostfang and Rock Rhino.

It is random and you might breed dozens of times before you might get what you are breeding for. The higher the rarity the more difficult it is to breed.

So far I have only gotten rainguins. :(

I see. I've gotten rainguins and iciclaws and one other cool thing.

Do you sell these extra animals? Is there a reason to HAVE a bunch of one thing? I'm very tempted to get rid of extras.

You might wish to keep one or two extras of these common creatures (keep them at level 1) because they'll eventually come in handy in future events where you'll be asked to hatch and/or feed one of these; feeding a level 1 is takes less food than a level 10.

After a dozen fails consisting of Rainguins, Iceclaws and Rockodiles, I got a 45-hour fail after breeding a Granite Golem with a Pearl Peryton. Was pretty miffed cause I thought I'd bred my fourth Sapphire Cuthulhu until this morning when I popped it into the nest and it turned out to be an Obsidian Cyclops!!

YEA!! I remember trying to breed that and failing more than 200 times when it first appeared, finally giving up; I couldn't even get it when I was trying for the Granite Golem, getting two of them instead of the Cyclops. Now when I least expect it ... :D So happy :o

Finally got the rainboa! Went back to Moroccan gazelle n sea monkey pair n got it on 3rd try.....happy dance!!!

After 20+ Rainguins a Glacial Griffin, and two Rockodiles with Frostfang and Rock Rhino (also during the Goblin Gobbler event) and 3 more Rainguins with Rainguin/Rockodile, I'm switching to Rockodile and Glacial Griffin. On a Rainguin egg now :/ wish me luck for at LEAST an Iciclaw soon enough.

I used Birthdaybear x Seamonkey (both lvl. 15) - and got the 8 hours at second try after a Rainguin - and was very happy after hatching it into the nest and see that it was NOT a Iciclaw. ��

I feel the same way, lol. I got a city full of Rainguins - at least 12 in a row at one point then an Iciclaw (shows up when not needed) and whatever that 11 hour timer is. I can only just sit and wait. Hopefully I'll get one before the timer expires.

The only up side to all the fails of rainguins and Iciclaws is I have a 40 hour fail that should be the Opal Octopus that I need. Every one of my 8 hours has been Iciclaw.

In this way Storm8 lost its credibility (if they still has any left). I refuse to spend a single gem on it.

I'm fairly new at this game and don't have either of those two creatures so I couldn't try that combo. I tried Rock Rhino + Frostfang and Glacial Griffin + Rockodile with no luck
