We got 2 new pages of islands on 12/31 and nada since then. I wouldn't hold your breath, I'm sorry to say. Norman has ceased to respond to questions like yours, whereas he used to say "soon," so I feel like the developers have abandoned Treasure Story altogether. I haven't deleted it yet, but I no longer play at all. Weekly updates, my ass.

I want new foods and expansion.
I want all the Islands to be free to revisit.
