So a new event just popped up on my dash along with a tournament. Tiaras are collected with this event. Looks like only two dragons again with apples and tickets as the second and third community prizes again.

Hopefully the number of tiaras needed for the final dragon is more realistic this time but somehow I doubt it.

From what I've seen we need 1800 crowns for Unruly (Royal, champ, blue - Super Rare) and 3400 crowns for Empress (Tarot, royal, white - Ultra rare) but the dragons might be switched. I'll do some more research on this later on.

EDIT: Yes, this is how the dragons are configured. Unruly is Super Rare and Empress is Ultra Rare. Thankfully I'm not interested enough in Empress to go for it. Thank you S8 for making it easier to get to Unruly - an easy path to a champion dragon, yay!

Love the dragons, but unfortunately, it seems like another impossible event unless you're willing to spend a lot of gold.

3400 in 7 days would be 486 per day - quick calculation: 7 farms, 2 nests, 1 breeding den (2x points), 1 evo temple would give you 288 points per day if you can get 24 hours out of all of them. 3 nests - 312, 4 nests - 336. So we need 150 to 200 points per day from other sources: battling (3 per battle) and the Queen Cup (10 per 4 hours), Noble dragon (250 for hatching and ??? for leveling it to 10).

I'm using laserlight/love and diamond. It eliminates the justice and virtue fails at the risk of a Diamond hybrid fail. No great options out there, trading one bad fail for another. First try was a love.

Has anyone else noticed that 5x food boosts aren't properly calculating? I had diamonddates that had been on the nest for over 2 hours. 5x boost resulted in a cost of 2 gold to finish them.

We all have voices and all we can do is use it here and in the game through the decisions we make. The in-game voice is more likely to have an impact.

It seems that this WE also follows the formula of the last one, so we have 2 options:

- If you want the last prize - Empress dragon, you'll have to buy at least 1 Queen Chalice (as soon as possible, recommended in 1st day). If you choose this path and play regularly enough, you'll have enough point to get to the last prize without needing to raise (or even hatch) the Noble dragon.

- If you don't want the last prize, simply play through the event at normal pace like the WE in the old times. You'll have enough point to get the Unruly dragon (4th prize) and unlock the Community Prizes without needing to spend any gold, food or having extra den/nest.

You'll have to quickly decide which option you're going to take, especially if you're aiming for the last prize as the more time lost means the more gold you'll have to spend to make up for it.

I am so fed up with the way Team Lava have geared these events over the last six months or so. The outrageous number of points or whatever you need for the personal and community prizes is just ridiculous. They have turned what used to be fun an achievable events into a nightmare for most players, placing far too much emphasis on players spending, spending and more spending to gain the prizes, and this is so unfair.

After the last WE, there was a poll.
55 people said they did NOT like the event.
8 people liked it, 4 said they didn't participate.
This WE is almost identical- the huge number of points needed to enter the community prizes and tons of useless deco.

I wouldn't count on the polls (or any form of feedback) doing diddly squat. They obviously don't care what the players think.

As long as players spend money on gold to buy the dragon after days of not being able to breed it, we are almost certainly guaranteed an impossible to breed dragon accompanying every WE from now on.

Winning 4 battles a day (that's not hard) gets you 96 (4 tiara x 3 bonus x 8 days)

Breeding with 2 dens gets you 768 (1 tiara x 24 hours x 2 bonus x 2 dens x 8 days)

Hatching with 3 nests gets you 576 (1 tiara x 24 hours x 3 nests x 8 days)

Harvesting from 7 farms gets you 1344 (1 tiara x 24 hours x 7 farms x 8 days)

Evolving in 2 temples gets you 384 (1 tiara x 24 hours x 2 temples x 8 days)

Collecting from the Queen Cup gets you 480 (60 tiaras (10 every 4 hours) x 8 days)

If the math is right, this gives you a potential of 4148 tiaras, 700 more than are needed for the event, so even if you don't get the Nobel Dragon, you'd still be fine.

Breeding a Noble took me many days, so evolving it to 10 will take extreme planning in order to complete three 14 hour evolutions in 3 days.

I only have one evolution temple.

I have been breeding and hatching around the clock, but not all eggs can be planned to run 24 hours during my waking schedule. For example, I have had long time eggs finish while I'm sleeping so I lose a couple of hours during the night. On the other hand, I supplement common dragons whenever I can (Air, Olympus, Water, Light, etc.).

I do farm crops accordingly so I don't lose any time there (20 hour crops, then 5 or 1 to fill in time). I also collect from the Queen Cup, but do have to sleep.

As for battles, I finished the tourney this morning, but of course had several fails in the last stage due to high level, difficult opponents.

My point is that even for as OCD as I am with this game, the requirements make it so stressful that it's more of a job than a hobby. Maybe I will make it on time but even if I do, it certainly won't be easy or FUN at all :mad:

Yeppers! It's like when everybody complained about level 20 Glasswings in the Tournaments. Now there is a level 20 Glasswing in EVERY Tournament. Coincidence? I'm sure it's just random...LOL

At least Virtues are highly avoidable, if you include one in the pairings. There's worse fails that we could get besides tons of Loves, so we ducked a bullet this time. (I probably should have kept that to myself.) -_-

The Apples for Community Prize is going to pop up in the next hour or so. Interested to see what we actually get. Doubt if it's enough to raise an Epic Love dragon. :p

I have GP Dragons so I was willing to use some gold to get the Nobel. My boosters for breeding and hatching were also full so I used one each and went on a speed-breeding and hatching spree, combining Laser Light and Black Swan. Got a dozen Love failures before I made a switch to Neo Pink with Neo White and finally got the Nobel.

All in I spent about 22 gold getting the Nobel but I felt that it was well spent.

I haven't been trying for Noble until tonight. Got it on about 3rd or 4th try with Virtue and Fire.

However, my account is level 114 and still highly unlikely to open the community prizes. 😡 I have 1 active breeding den, 2 nests, and 2 evo flowers. It should not be this hard to unlock the first bloody community prize!

Yeppers! It's like when everybody complained about level 20 Glasswings in the Tournaments. Now there is a level 20 Glasswing in EVERY Tournament. Coincidence? I'm sure it's just random...LOL

The ultra rare event dragons don't fight with ultra rare strength. They fall into the weaker Unbreedable tier. So it's no big loss, battle-wise, in letting them go (or leaving them in storage).

Any dragon that cannot be bred is classified in this tier regardless of its game-displayed rarity. This includes dragons won from tournaments, dragons received by completing Dragon Album goals, Gold type dragons, and any other dragon that cannot normally be acquired through breeding. Some (but not all) expired limited dragons also fall into this tier."

A side note:
The Neo Diamond is Unbreedable, so it won't fight like the actually-an-ultra-rare Diamond Dragon.

I found Bingo particularly kind to me this week, and ended up the highest ranking 'non-booster', so I had 5 boosts to unload in a hurry last morning. That put me well on the way to the final dragon, because of the high-hour dragons I dragged out of storage for the Nest Boosts.

I won't need to raise my Nobel so he's off to the Stables, but the 250 points helped a lot also.

Now that I've liberated myself from the habit of saving up all my Bingo moves until I was ready to use a Boost, I find I can make a lot more points in the World Events.

So I've been playing constantly and am only at 1,385 tiaras with 3 days to go - this really stinks. At this rate, I won't even make it to the community prizes :mad: why do they keep making these events harder and harder to complete? You get all of the community prizes that are unlocked. The locked ones just means the community hasn't reach there yet.

I have a feeling most of the original DS team was axed in the layoffs, and any who remained have since left the conpany or are working on different projects. So many things about the game are now misses, like whoever is working on the game has no clue about the finer details- all that stuff, we, as players, have learned over the years. The crazy, random typing on many of new dragons shows who ever is assigning types has no idea how they work. All the "ultra rare" event prizes (and that dumb NeoDiamond) that are lessened by their Unbreedable status.

All the new 3-type Champions who are basically worthless in the Arena because of their additional types. Examples: Moonrise is not a 10%er, can be taken down by any blue/purple dragon; 20Cleric is not a 10%er, has a whole list of various level 10 dragons with 35% and 25% odds against it. These weak Champs may seem good when you are up against one in the Arena, but they are nothing special when it's your fighter. They aren't true Champs, like the Prizefighter, or even the Champ+1 type, like Harmony Knight or Glasswing.

Then, there is the complete disconnect between how much food it takes to feed the newer dragons and how much food can be grown (including the offensively miniscule food "prizes"). Lately there has been a growing collection of easily-avoidable glitches and sloppy mistakes. The game is devolving.

Either the people currently working on DS have never played the game and are floundering around in the dark with no clue how the game actually works, no idea which details actually matter to game play, OR they just don't care anymore. Perhaps both. Quality control seems to be non-existent these days, so I am leaning towards the latter.

Well, the hybrid Champs are just another level more certain of victories in so many cases. A White-Blue Dragon is good against it's own particular set of choice opponents. Add in the Champ Stamp and you might have as many as 4 additional hit advantages. There's just a lot more prevalent tendency towards specialization and need for exponentially higher amounts of food.

Since they are more powerful, though, I can get some pretty nice victories with dragons in the level 7 range against level 20 opponents. I think the high spawning hours and greedy diets are extremely annoying, and usually wait until World Events to raise or even hatch a lot of them. Because they are more efficient fighters, though, it contributes to my strategy of hoarding more food than I feed.

What would really help us do better battles is a better fighter selection tool than scrolling down by levels.

I set the goal of getting 500 points a day, and actually exceeded that by as much as 100 or 200 some days. I kinda wonder if I even needed that ornament, but it's hard to tell, because I'm taking the day off, for the most part.

I have 2 Evo Temples, 4 Nests, and typically keep the 2nd Roost active for the sake of Bingo, and being able to do other things as they are required. I had about 6 fails getting the Noble Dragon, so I'm no better than average at breeding. I don't like to say that I'm "elite", but I have gradually, and finally become pretty well-prepared.

Wow, over 3,000,000 food is impressive. But I agree with the original poster. You're spending 100 gold every week to keep your second roost active plus an additional 250 gold to buy the premium ornament. I can't afford to buy all that. I love having my second roost going but can't always afford it. I personally have two egos, three nests and the free ornament. I constantly tried to breed Noble and ended up with a Kutsune, Tiny, Neverending and Melody fails, two Laserlights and at least 20 Love fails. I ended up with no Noble at all. I gave up trying now because there is no time to hatch and evolve him up to 12. I only have 2316 pts and no chance of getting the final prize. Why breeding Noble is impossible for some makes zero sense to me. Oh, and I only have 557,000 food which has taken me from the Egyptian WE we had to now to get back to because I spent almost all of my food feeding dragons to get the Egyptian dragon. I used to always maintain over 800,000 till they started all the feed your dragon up to X amount tasks. I have no idea how to get over a million food and still participate in all the events without spending serious coin which is of course all that S8 wants us to do. So now I have to be satisfied with the runner up dragons in events because I'm not in a position to constantly buy gold. I only have 3 GPD and mainly use gold to speed up breeding if at all. Or to activate my second roost when it's on sale, of course.

I also only have 3 Gold Dragons, and those aren't even fully matured. (I'm just that frugal with my apples.)

I don't know how I did it guys, but I did it. Made it to the community prizes with 2,222 Tiaras and 14 hours to go. I used about 7 - 8 5x boosts to get me there. XP

Kinda glad that I don't need to breed that flamboyant Noble.

The fact that I speed up nothing, other than using boosts, means that I spend more time ignoring the game than actually playing it. I appreciate how much more difficult the game has gotten and how much more time we have to spend doing stuff. I never really bought any of the premium ornaments until they gave us that Golden Pyramid and I saw how much it helped. I reckoned in the cost of about 48.5 cents a day during the World Events after that. (Was this one shorter?) But it's only once a month so not a huge burden.

I realize that a lot of people don't have a dime to spend. I can recommend the Bingo, though. Be prepared to settle for lower scores, and get those boosts and hoard them for rainy days. It also gives you something relatively easy to do once you learn it.

I wouldn't admonish anybody for complaining about the tasks they require of us. I can't very well say that I enjoy hearing about the pains they are putting people through, but it's satisfying to me that they are speaking up about them. If the game becomes more sensible I'll gladly take it.

There's a few others here who play similar to me, and quite a few more liberal with their gold and food (time). Sometimes we might discover little things that could possibly help people get out of binds. I wouldn't want to be too shy to mention them for fear of upsetting somebody on a tighter budget. :)

I had the same situation as you. I just made the 2200 requirement to qualify for the community prizes with 8 hrs 45 minutes left on the timer. I wasn't able to bred the Noble dragon. Oh well!!

In about 3 hours I will have reach the final milestone prize when my farms are done. I used a number of Bingo boosts, hired the second breeding roost for 100 gold and raised Noble for extra points. I was happy to used the resources the game awards in order to reach the final dragon that I think is really lovely. Though, I will have to work hard at replenishing my Bingo boosts now. Another positive during this event was that I bred Gossamer when completing Bingo by using Saturn and Infinity. Go figure? I was not expecting that result 😊

Another positive during this event was that I bred Gossamer when completing Bingo by using Saturn and Infinity. Go figure? I was not expecting that result ��

It cost me 49 gold to get Empress. I used the gold to speed up eggs and dens. I'm not happy about having to spend gold but am glad that I didn't let this one get away. They really need to lower the requirements for these darn events :(

Well I made it with 12 minutes to spare! I had one den, one evolution temple and 4 nests constantly occupied. I was lucky enough to get noble and I used only a couple golds to speed up and one boost. Without all those extras a person really has no chance

I quit after the community prizes because there was no way I was going to get Emperess. I'm happy with my Unruly dragon, though. It's my first champion dragon so I can't complain :) Will help a lot for Bingo lol

I was going to have to use gold to buy the unruly dragon--set my alarm so I wouldn't miss it. I opened the game, saw that I had about five minutes left, then the sidebar disappeared. Out of luck, apparently. Anyone else have this happen? I'm a little irritated, i had already used some gold to speed things along and was hoping to get along least one dragon out of the game.

I was able to reach Empress, thx to my x10 farm boosts and 2 hatching boosts, which reduces the gold spent by half.. (planting diamondates cost 1 gold each, and anything under 10 hours left to hatch cost 1-2 gold). It seems that this is the only way (FOR ME) to avoid spending even more gold in order to complete these events now.
I will have to continue playing bingo to receive them, if not the last individual prize would have DEFINITELY been out of reach for me. Which is sad because of the increasing amount of points needed just to reach there, when it was soo much easier before..

Anyway, congratulations to those who were able to get Empress...

Me too! I was there 2 minutes before the end of the event i was buying the last missing tiaras with gold to take the Empress dragon but the game reloaded and i wasnt able to do it! I wrote an email to the support and they answered i had to ask for the prize before the event ends... but it was not my fault at all! I was there at the right moment! I m very sad!

I'd definitely file another complaint/request with customer support, and file as many as it takes to get a satisfactory resolution (aka: your dragon). Keep pushing them. The whole "you have to ask before the event ends" response is completely unacceptable, it makes zero sense, and is them trying to give you the run-around, hoping you'll just go away and they won't have to deal with or admit their mistake.
I know for a fact (from past experience with a glitch during the Tales with Glasswing) they can send a prize dragon AFTER an event has finished to players who have suffered a glitch through no fault of their own. Keep pushing. What they did is NOT right or ethical, and they MUST make it right for you (and anyone else who lost their prize due to the event finishing prior than the posted time). If they won't, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Apple (or GooglePlay if you are on Android). I know Apple, in particlar, takes this type of shenanigans very seriously.
An ethical company would send a dragon to every player who particpated in the event since the event expired before the clearly stated end time.

It's a recurring, well-documented issue that happens so often, many veteran players make sure to complete every event at least 15 minutes early. That is not the way it should be. It's not right.

I remember seeing it at 99% with an hour left so I figured of course we'll get it. But I never received a pop up that we won them and that they were "in storage". Regardless of multiple times launching the game again after the event had ended, I never got a confirmation pop up.

Yes, we did get 15 tickets as mine did increase by that amount.

Eh. I have no problem walking away from a game, even one that I've been playing for years. I did it with Castle Story after getting screwed on an event (although they've been laying it on thick with the "PLEASE come back" pop ups lately).
It is what it is, it's just too bad you can't give away your dragons to your neighbors when you quit the game.
No money lost, I quit buying gold a long time ago.

I knew I would not be able to finish in time, so I did not actively or willingly participate in this event. I did not like the event and do not like the new WE requirements.
Plus, I thought the prize dragons (and Noble) were unattractive and the deco prizes kinda dumb, tbh. Why would I want random chalices and crowns laying around my Isles? I'd much, much rather get 1-square trees and other natural items as deco prizes in events. Things like small fountains, shrubs, and other landscaping items that can be squeezed into 1-square gaps by any habitat and still look good. A bigger variety/selection of 1-square trees would be useful.

Good idea. I am liking the the Blood Birch that goes with the current Dragon Tales and put them out around the Blood Moon habitat.

There have been polls on the last few World Events and on all of them the majority of the people say they didn't like them but they still put them out in the same format. It's like our suggestions go in one ear and out the other. We don't want to have to breed a dragon for any event period yet we're still required to breed extra, useless, dragons for all events. People don't like that the last individual prize is impossible to get without gold yet it's still going on. People don't like all of the useless decorations yet there's more of them than dragons. And what is with the skimpy amounts of food and bingo tickets among prizes? Not everyone plays bingo and the 15k food or however the amount is just one feeding because the food requirements are ridiculous.
YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BREED NOR RAISE ANY DRAGONS IN A WORLD EVENT!!!! The only event that should require food is Dragon Tales. STOP RUINING THE GAME.
