When you store a shop item

When you are in the display area of your bakery what does the store button on the right mean? Does it mean u can put it away and use it later??

Exactly. It will end up in the design bar at the bottom of your screen with the other items. When you go in there, you will notice a small triangle in the corner of the item box. That indicates how many of that item you have in storage.
