So, doing the math on this one: if you collect the full 5 gold per day (once you get him to level 10 that is) it would take 640 days to make back your 3,200 gold. That is just over 21 months - how is this a deal? Makes no sense at all.

Another way to look at it is with the current gold sale, you would need to purchase the "Mountain of Gold" (2900 gold), "Bowl of Gold" (250 gold) and "Sack of Gold" (120 gold) for a total of $80.97 plus tax (USD).

My congrats to any player with those kinds of resources.

I think this is their reply to our calls for a GPD sale... they introduced this dragon a short while ago for (I think) 2400 gold as a sale, and now for 3200. This is NOT a true sale. We want the old GPD (or new ones for all I care) on sale for 400 to 800 gold.

When I think GPD sale I don't think of a 3,200 splash of gold, this is way too expensive. They should have just return the old set including Stainglass and Midas when they were on sale at 400 gold a piece. Sadly I think the days of seeing 400-800 gold per dragon are gone unless some miracle happens. :(

So there has not been a GPD on sale in ages and this is the best S8 could offer?

There was one not long ago, the same dragon for 2400 gold, as I posted above. Not an actual "sale" though, IMO. As amerish calculated, you'd have to spend 80 dollars to get this dragon if you don't have a big amount of gold. I am not prepared to spend that on a few pixels in a game. But I guess the game developers are happy for gold to become more and more sparse (I haven't had a new pop-up to install a game for 14 gold in ages) while at the same time increasing the demand for gold through impossible events.

When this Dragon was introduced the real price was 4000 gold and 1600 on sale which was a sale price, this rubbish of it being available at 3200 is only a mark down or slight reduction and definitely not a sale.

As Amerisih has previously suggested this is not a wise choice unless you have bought all the others in the market that are available.

White Gold is currently in the Market for 1500 gold and Treasure is at 2000 gold and these are at full price! Either of these would be a better buy. Try getting Gold Horizon from collecting Bingo Tickets as it is 4000 gold.

This is my opinion and if you find it helpful, great!

Things sure have changed...it used to be more enjoyable and fun vs the stingy approach they have now.

I am lucky I guess to have so many gold dragons that give me the ability to buy things I want and not have to purchase using cash.
