* There are timed elements within this set of goals, but you don't have to complete them to get the adorable babies (it just helps you craft them sooner!)
* Once you defeat a skunkupine the nursery opens & the skunkupea craft is accessible.
* Once you craft the skunkupea, then the fangpup craft is accessible.
* The Skunkupea and Fangpup are not pre-requisites for the Flyger Cubs, they will be available at level 22 in Ivy's Nursery.
* Flyger monsters that you fight and pet Flygers will have a chance to drop Flyger Milk used to summon the Flyger Cubs.
* There is a chance for the milk to drop from the Flygers that you fight, but the primary source of milk comes from the White Flyger and Armored Flyger. The White Flyger trade will expire with the event, but the Armored Flyger will remain available in the Mythic Research Center.
* This goal was released at the same time as Season 9 monster hunt.
* Flyger Milk will be dropped from tamed White Flygers and Armored Flygers post-event, but the White Flyger in the Trade Wagon can only be tamed during the event. The Armored Flyger will remain in the Mythic Research Center after the event, and the Flyger Cubs will remain in Ivy's Nursery after the event.

I slay one White Flyger from White Cow. 10 Hits and 2 flyger token. But no shield token and staff token so I decide to stop. And focus to purple golem. I hope S8 will change the drop later (just like flyger hunt before where token drop add later). It will really help us if White Flyger drop another token too.

I only slay 1 White Flyger and collect once from my common Flyger and no milk flyger drop. Is it rare drop? Or it only drop from crafted white flyger? Thank you.

Also, it would be fantastic if the flygers we have to fight would also drop troll tokens we can use to trade. I'm concentrating mainly on fighting those and then the purple golems for tokens.

Those of you who have used / are going to use the unlimited energy pack, what is your strategy? What are you doing ahead of time to prepare and how are you using the energy?

I have thinking about getting it - never have before but might this time. I think fighting 1 golem takes me over a minute, so If I have 15 horses out ready that will easily use that time.

If you don't have that many horses, I'd get out as many cows, pigs as possible and plant crops that spawn direboars etc . Basically have pretty much everything that might spawn a beast ready and waiting. Depending on how much you have, you could also be ready to have rocks etc for chopping. But I think 15 minutes will go pretty quick, as you might probably also need to fit in doing trades so you don't max out on tokens.

I knew what the drops were going to be from the splash screen when the event started. I didn't get a screen shot of it but it showed expansion permits as a drop.

Oh, for anyone who still has time on that energy pack left -- horses you don't have to age up, the come as adults. So if you don't have enough for the monster hunt, you can buy them now and not have to worry about spending time growing them.

‼️collect fast: multi click what you want to collect. click social icon, then exit. Better chance of drops‼️

:) anytime! I like this method and use it all the time. It's good once you've parked a monster so it works faster without interruption from beasties. There are a couple of other ways to active the quick collection, but this one works easiest for me (which is why I have shortcut text about it!) :) great for chopping rocks too. I'm so impatient waiting for my ruler to do one single thing at a time. And she's happier too! Lol

Hi, just a question the Fetching Flygerlings quest.

The photo of the kitten they show you make is the white one.

i'm thinking the quest would complete wether you make the original or white? right? that's the norm for these things? ? ?

i've just re-read all of these pages (don't think i'm missing it) & have been reading all the main beast hunt posts (thou i admit i haven't re-read them)

just remembered i had a 2nd thought/question. i still have 4 flyger traps left over from the original flyger quest (i used 1 thinking wud it still drop tokens/milk now/what wud it spawn (it spawned a white flyger btw & dropped both)

Anyways, as they are spawning pretty easily i'm thinking of saving the other 4 till after the hunt.

i remember once someone, i think they were at wits end not getting ANYTHING to spawn, did a Naga trap months after the original quest just to check & an original Naga spawned.

Just wondering if after the event the flygers spawned will drop milk (am sure they won't drop tokens) but the milk wud still be an ongoing thing so ? ? ?

Looking at how the quest is worded, I suspect the chance to fuse a white flyger may only be there during the event. Not sure, but if I can get enough milk I intend going for that.

I would like to make a case for the challenges being named wrongly. The 'harder' quests are easy as they are guaranteed spawns. I struggle every day to get 5 fangbeasts. That should be recognised as the toughest.

Other than that, I'm loving this event.

The fangbeasts are hanging with the chickens. If you only collect from cows and pigs, you'll get a few FB, but not many. I've also spawned FB from the t-farmhouses.

Flyger Milk will be dropped from tamed White Flygers and Armored Flygers post-event, but the White Flyger in the Trade Wagon can only be tamed during the event. The Armored Flyger willl remain in the Mythic Research Center after the event, and the Flyger Cubs will remain in Ivy's Nursery after the event.

i thought it was saying that, like normal, the flyger version from the troll wagon wud disappear but the mrc one wud stay & am i just basing this on the s at the end of the word cub to mean both cubs wud stay ??? hmmmm. i guess i am.

You could be right. I'm just not sure. I really want a white cub, so I'm going for that first. Then I can collect from the crafted cats to get a regular 'tabby' kitten. I have an armoured flyer, a white one and a regular one so that should be reachable in time. I still don't have a fangbeast cub.

I did post this before as I had tried in the past.. some of the traps we receive can't be stored and after awhile I have them placed, due to lack of space, I chop them.
The old traps ALWAYS spawn the referred beast, whichever and whenever, but the only time they have drops are when they are in-season and the event is running. Out-of-season.. they just spawn without drops.

Thus Flyger traps, past/present, after the Hunting Season, I don't think will drop milk-bottles, even though the Nursery is a permenant feature, if they follow the same rules as the other out-of-season drops. This I haven't tried yet.

Our Flyger milk-bottle supplies will come as drops from the White and Armored Flygers crafted.. and as they do not drop at each collection.. will take a long time to craft cubs. I guess it will remain a long-term goal.. so no rush. The cubs are cute to have but not necessary for what they eventually drop.. as you can find their supplies all over the kingdom.

i re-read this Ivy's cub forum before i posted i thought thoroughly but the other monster hunt one i had just read as it went on so i must have read & not totally retained all about your previous post, my apologies.

i had personally thought it might be the way you explained (but was hoping lol) as the nagas seem to work that way with older ones not dropping mermaid stuff as people say they do, inc ones you get now from the barons tent.

i was interested to see if it would spawn an original or white flyger tbh :-D (was white) which oddly gave me hope & bcos the event is just before the milk is needed rather then the monster was from the long past.

But i reckon you are probably right. Was hopeful thinking. i never seem to get many monsters in my town even when it's not monster hunt. So all the baby animals are def background long term quests for me i still haven't a fangbeast (26 milk i think lol)

i have an original flyger kitt making atm as i've concentrated on flygers then gold coins this hunt, the white will have to wait, luckily i'm patient & this one isn't reliant on monsters popping at least.

Lately my baby flygers give me better stuff then the bigger ones and the armored ones...for many many days all I get from big and armored flygers is earth wisp and bones and milk...the baby's at least have been giving me wisp lanterns. Can I ask what other people have been getting from their armored and big flygers? I have gotten only one expansion permit from one of my two big flygers a day or a couple days after I got them....not even my armored one yet I thought they would drop better stuff since they cost gold troll tokens. So bummed I should have not gotten armored flygers and should have saved for a second cabbage hut cause then at least I could get nagas to help with mermaid goals and Ali's to help with energy...how many expansion permits have others gotten from their armored or regular big flygers..thanks

I've gotten 1 expansion permit so far, dropped last week one day. I have 3 white & 3 armored flyers. I'm betting those permits are ultra, ultra rare & maybe even coded to only drop 1 each & that's it!

(Note, from my experience, nagas don't really help with mermaid goals - it is really only seaweed they drop that is used in those goals and that is not that scarce)

The nagas help in giving 40,000 coins when you do the naga trade in Royal Exchange. The coins are needed for ocean reefs and blue anemone. The Mermaid is an expensive goal to complete.
