Recently I saw an incentive goal 12 days for cool steps.

THIS is and awesome side goal but 12 days to do all 3 steps? People sleep & work... not everyone can spend all day on the game. Sure we can use gems to complete the goals but not everyone recieves free gem offers because they are random. Others cannot afford to buy gems or buy enough to complete goals.

Give us more time! I didn't finish the beach theme because I missed 1 goal by 1 item.

To make matters worse the stairs are on a countdown that the creators started 2 days ago! So if you reach that side goal today... you have 10 days to complete those 3 steps to get the staircase. Realizing this sucks the fun right out of the game.

Many of us enjoy the game but the goal times suck the fun right out of it. Many people will NEVER be able to try to get the stairs because the time started before they even hit the side goal.

Many people are stuck with ovens they paid 30,000+ coins for but only have 1 or 2 recipes because they didn't finish the goals on time. You expect us to buy, build (with restrictions on gifts recieved, gifts sent & restrictions on how many people actually get our request for help) & create dishes ... all within unrealistic goal times.

So to conclude...
1. Longer Goal Times
2. Make "side goals" ... like the stairs... actual permanent side goals not a countdown clock the creators started many will never achive.

This is my reasoning....

This is what you need to complete in 12 days to get the staircase...
12 - Donut Frostys - 4 hrs = 48 hours
12 - Lemonade - 6 hrs = 72 hours
24 - Cronuts - 9 hrs = 216 hours
24 - Madeline Cookies - 6 hrs = 144 hours
40 - Sweet Tea - 30 mins = 20 hours
40 - Chocolate Cake - 1 hr = 40 hours

drink mixer =140 hours
oven = 400 hours
For a total of 540 hours

In 12 days there are a total of 288 hours

Counting sleep... you need at least 3 drink mixers & 3 ovens but that's IF you hit this goal on the day it started.

I finished the main goal...and the Staircase side goal. The Staircase is beautiful. I was wondering if anybody knew if you could buy a second Staircase. I don't see it in my design tab. I had built the usual Staircase design in my bakery, and I placed this new one on one side of it. I'd love to place one on the other side, too. Somehow, I have a feeling it's just going to be one:).. Anyone have the answer? Thx��

I hope we eventually get more than just stairs, seems odd since they aren't functional and are ugly on their own. These type of prizes should be incredible, nothing tacky or childish....but practical, something players would love to have displayed in their bakery/restaurant...these stairs on their own are NOT that, so I hope this gets better or I'll be extremely disappointed.

I don't think it's tacky or childish.. it's a great prize!
Even if it doesn't blend in others' bakery's colour and style, it's the opposite with other bakeries.
Maybe in the future it will be functional and act like a stair, or maybe it will lead to another floor in a bakery!
But I do wish the prizes get better.

You can start baking the cronuts and cookies while you complete the first step--so long as you leave them in the oven until the next step has popped up. It's serving the foods that counts.

If you unlock the side goal, say, 4 days before it expires you should think twice about starting it.
Even with 12 ovens for the side goal (and 6 for the main goal), it will take around 4 days to complete.

It is exactly because of this reason why it is rather unfair for newer players who do not have as many appliance slots to keep up with the goal. S8 should release this side goal after the main goal so that everyone have equal chances to get it, whether or not they want to participate. It's so stressful to keep up. :C

The oven - "White Oven." Easy Oven (same as white, but fewer clicks to prepare food). Forever Oven (same as white, but food doesn't spoil). The ovens grouped with it listed as Blue Oven, Green Oven and other colors are the same, but colored and sold for gems.

I like the stairs and think they're very pretty, very well done. They're also a nice size, not too big. I don't have steps in my bakery, but many people do, so if the cartoon people could walk on them, they'd be VERY handy.

I'm waiting to see what they're previewing.

Wooden Steps is so beautiful and designed so well, thank you S8... I personally loved it. It doesn't matter if the customers don't walk up the stairs or it doesn't lead the store to another floor most of all this Wooden Steps concept is new to my bakery and it's wonderful :) I would love to have for my RS too!!

This Steps comes along with this goal and only one we get as Prize after completing this goal, so there is no chance of buying another one but we can hope S8 gives us a chance of buying or a goal to get this Wooden Steps in future.

People should not have to buy gems to complete side or normal tasks this is supposed to be fun...not stress inducing. Not everyone gets free gems, they are random, I made the mistake of buying gems & I have never had a free gems offer since & that was over 6 weeks ago.

The extra floor is nice but many would not be able to enjoy it because the stairs are a goal item only, so others can not buy them & therefore would never have access to another floor.

I couldn't agree more with more time to complete ALL tasks. And the task time begins when the person reaches it, not on a specific date & time.

I completely agree. Another thing I am especially annoyed by at the moment is that you can no longer watch an ad to speed up recipes in the goals, this has somehow been blocked, so you have to use gems if you're running behind, like I almost always am since it takes me days to get the parts... I assume this is a way to get people to spend and, as a result, buy gems but in all honesty, I've never bought gems and I don't plan to start, so in the end I'll probably just stop playing the game when I run out of gems...

It's not that hard and you didn't have to buy a separate oven for the side goal, which was optional because it wasn't tied into the main goal..............we really need a separate thread for all the pessimists, it's getting exhausting reading the negative comments all the time.

Depending on how many appliances you have available it can be easy or hard to do. Be patient with the "pessimists". They're just telling you their experience.

I love the idea of the goal time starting when you select them, I know that before the layoffs that the goals always came out on the second Wednesday of every month around noon (PST it was different days for different time zones). Now I don't even know if they even have any sort of schedule set up.

I agree—this last set did not have enough time! I didn't even get the last item (Drum Cake) in the Guitar Oven unlocked! (The stairs were impossible.) It seems this goal thread had a shorter time, or maybe my real life just took more time. Please don't ruin Bakery Story. (I quit Castle Story months ago, because the goals were so unreasonable.) If we run out of time on a goal, we should at least be able to unlock it at some point so we can make the food, instead of having it locked in the oven forever—even if it costs a few gems!

It started in RS where I couldn't speed up anything for a while, but then after an update of both RS and BS all "regular" recipes could be sped up by watching an ad, but not the ones in goals. Even now, after the goal is finished, I can't speed up recipes on those appliances
