I am actually happy with the first oven. It's a locked oven for me not just the recipe but the oven itself. As far as unlocking old goal ovens I think we're getting somewhere, SLOWLY lol. Now to just get them to start unlocking old goal ovens from BS in BS and the ones from RS in RS, not swapped.

Wasn't expecting a goal until next week for RS.
Gotta say a little miffed that we now have another ship's wheel as a table.
So now I'll have a Riverboat wheel (helm) and a pirate helm.
S8 should have at least designed a new table to match coral chair.
Otherwise happy at least there is another goal.
I miss the previews. When we don't know what the stuff looks like, doing the goal is like, "Is it worth it?" So it's like doing work & not knowing if there is a purpose.
Please bring back the previews the day before!
This is starting to get more & more chore-like and less fun.

I agree with you on this! And it does feel more chore-like. I'll probably skip this goal. Doesn't it feel like we just finished the previous goals?

Both of which are extremely appropriate in a restaurant! Not too keen on a recipe named after a disease, either. (Scurvy)
This isn't happing... Mermaid Ahoy!! For the Final Goal Prize??! But I already have this item in BS... sorry a side from the first oven's recipes I really hated these goal!

The new goal looks pretty good to me. The panda and manatee is cute, the seashell shelf is pretty and the chair is decorative enough as a standalone piece (although I agree that it doesn't work with the table together, but still happy that it's new stuff for me)
The recipes are in tune with the pirate theme, imo. I can also picture it on a halloween menu - "Scurvy Turkey Leg" lol I'm glad to have this oven here in RS as the theme seems more suitable for a restaurant than a bakery, and I don't have it in BS as well anyway. Thank you, S8, for the 5 hours cooking time!
Oh and the mermaid walls and tiles are really pretty! If only the walls are full mermaid scales and not just half.. but still pretty nonetheless.
I hope the final prize will be a huge one! The mermaids ahoy looks like the final prize and it looks cute, but not as well done as the mermaid reef..which is locked for me :(
I do wish that they had launched the goal after the BS one is done..it's rather stressful to do both goals at the same time. But yay to a new goal!

I'm with eeveldoll on the timing--I'm having enough trouble with 2 week goals in one game, simultaneous RS & BS is probably going to drive me nuts.
But at least if I don't finish I already have this decor in BS--except the pirate panda, who's really cute! And I'm glad the mermaids are the prize instead of the pirate ship/treasure island decor from BS.

I like this item, it's so cute but the same stuff from BS and as a final prize in RS is making me sad... it's like going for the same dress again and again but from two different stores and girls never like to do that (if u don't want em u don't buy em).

5 hours for the first recipe and we need 15??????? Good grief! At this rate it will take forever to finish the goals, I only have two ovens built since update yesterday.
I also am getting sick and tired of the swapping appliances and prizes from one game to another. Especially when they are cheesy prizes, if your going to swap then choose neat practical prizes. Not tacky, child like prizes.

I like this one. I didn't get to do this oven before in BS, so it's new to me. Even though I've been playing for four years, I have missed a bit here and there. I'm sure there are plenty of new players by now as well. Either way, the dish names are cute for appliance #1. Can't wait to see the next one. :)

I like this goal, I don't play BS so its the only chance I have to get the oven. I just wish it wasn't quite so part heavy.

I'm kind of liking this goal. Had the same reaction to a Scurvy dish as the other poster, but it's funny, so OK. Liking that the plates aren't all blue!

It's new to me, I don't play BS, wow major complaining. Better than shutting this game down! I just wish the tables were matching the chairs. The scale wallpaper would look better full size but I'm happy. �� We do need a send ALL button for requests and gifting please! Ty

I am sitting here and staring at my game. I have JUST STARTED the 'Ahoy Me Mateys' goal and I already have the Mermaid Reef available and out on display. Did it get unlocked after an earlier goal and we just didn't get a pop-up about it?!? So confused.....

The Mermaid Reef was a final goal prize from a set of goals back in August 2013. It appears this goal is giving newer players the opportunity to unlock it.
If you had already unlocked it already, I believe you should receive another copy for free :)

Same here... as old Goals & Prize is being repeated for the new user's, why not we get the old Goals back?! For unlocking the Items :) I would love it... same as this one!!

I enjoyed these goals except for the goal duration. It was really tight to complete both the Main Goals and the Side Goals together. I much prefer the Side Goals start upon the completion of Main Goals, 15 days each.
